SG/VG renames require manual editing, meaning that each one requires a Customer Service Rep to perform it. You can imagine that were this added as an on demand service, it would have impact on our response times.

Additionally, because leadership/ownership of a SG can be a very, very touchy subject, it requires a significant amount of investigation. Thorough investigation. This, again, impacts our overall level of service.

I'm sure there's many other reasons I'm missing, I'm not privy to all CS policies and practices, but those are a few off the top of my head.
Would it be worth your while at $10, $15, or $20 a pop?

Or how about a hat I found which fell of the back of a truck? <wink, wink>

You should really ask your parents how babies are made.

  6. As an aside: I often remind people during tasks where we call for Lore pets to come out to set their pets to attack their target, else they're wasting their EB level attacks killing off minions instead of wearing down the AV/GM. Those who don't regularly play MMs may not know or remember to do such things.
  7. A look at my chart of *conceptual* proliferation shows a glaring omission for MM primaries:

    Mind and/or Illusion.

It is a staple of comic books that MMs are often masters of manipulation the minds not only of their henchers, but of their foes, as well.

    Did you read the souvenir?
  9. I'd wait months until the updated version of PPM procs comes to pass (as hinted by Zwillinger on Ustream) and the formulas are made know and tested to actually be working as advertised.

Chasing PPM procs now is just an exercise in having one's heart broken months from now.
  10. 1. Reduce pledge drives

    2. Less British dramas

    3. More hard science shows.

Such a disappointment making it another set to sit in the closet along side the Beast MM, again a great concept and fun to play but the damage just isn't there.
It's the players' fault. There wasn't enough hysterical demanding of the immediate release of Staff to justify making it the most powerful melee set ever causing everyone to delete all their other melee alts and reroll as Staff.

    For shame, players. For shame.

Updated up to here and now.
  21. The chest and the butt of a human person will standing normally face in opposite directions, i.e., 180 degrees. A person with normal flexibility can rotate their shoulders 90 degrees to one side (we presume supers with athletic training could do more, but let's just stick with a real world 90 degrees).

With that twist the chest and butt are now facing in different directions at 90 degrees. If the chest was pointing directly at you, you would see the butt pointing straight to the side at 90 degrees.

Now move so that you're halfway between where the chest and butt are pointing. From that vantage point, the chest and butt are pointing your direction... not completely, but at 45 degrees each toward each side.

And that's the position Penny is in.
  22. Name change requests should be honored as part of VIP service, IMO.

I know there have been some murmurs about people figuring out what in-set and out-of-set meant in a non-obvious way, and I'm trying to understand what converts to what. I read some page on Paragon Wiki that showed, for example, all the Heal IOs (Doctored, Miracle, Numina, Panacea) together.

Put another way ... is there any way to convert an IO to a Panacea other than starting with some other PVP IO?
PvP IOs can only be converted from and to other PvP IOs.

Very Rare (Purple) IOs can only be converted from and to other Very Rare (Purple) IOs.

So, you're never going to start with a Doctored Wounds and get to Panacea.

However, the one switch in Rarity that you can do is going to and from Uncommon to Rare within a Category Conversion. So, a Level 50 Doctored Wounds (Uncommon) will always turn into a Level 50 Numina (Rare) because at Level 50, only those two sets exist in that Category after excluding PvP and Purple sets.

Making big bucks off that kind of conversion has mostly tanked once people realized this and flooded the market with DoctoredWounds>Numinas and RedFortune>LuckoftheGamblers.

There may be a few niches left at lower levels, but you'd have to spend more Converters to make it happen since at lower levels, there are more sets a cheap IO can change into before you hit an expensive one.

OTOH, now that most people have cleared out their inventory of expendable Merits of all types for Converters, the prices of some sets should start creeping back up, especially as all the Staff and Beast toons hit 50 and create demand.
