  1. Energy Aura Secondary (stalkers): When you break stealth your character remains transparent (like power pool stealth transparent, not hidden transparent) even though you are no longer hidden. I checked out my other stalker and coming out of stealth worked fine, can anyone else confirm this one?
  2. Same thing for me, lots of red spikes on Infinity. Sometimes its so bad I can't play, other times it's managable.

    LOCATION: Chico, California
    ISP Provider: SBC Internet
Problem: Lots of red spikes, delays in animations, etc.
  3. The Crey Laser Rifle custom weapon for robot masterminds was fixed recently so that the weapon would "glow" like it does for NPCs, but ever since then it has been causing a huge framerate drop for me. Has anyone else had this happen?

I've noticed the framerate problem both when I team with my girlfriend's robot MM (yes, she gets the lag too) and also when I used that weapon on a custom critter in an AE mission.

Because of the 'hook' Vanessa has via the masks, it is tricky to roleplay a reformed Carnie, if one sticks to canon.

So far my end runs around the problem have been:

    * Mask shot off and shattered - Cosmic Seneschal (Carnie outfit, plate covering bullet scar)

    * Mask forcibly removed via magic (resulting in amnesia) - Electric Seneschal (carnie outfit, elec/elec blaster)

    * Character is mindblind, and kicked out of Carnival because of it (Bitter December, ice/cold dominator).

I have one that was captured by crey, turned into a cyborg, and their mental reprogramming combined with her own latent psychic powers is what broke the carnie hold on her.
  5. The sad thing is that Asheron's Call 2 actually had this feature (without disabling sound) as well as an option to turn the gore level to "fun" which just replaced blood with brightly colored paint.

Edit: Darn, someone beat me to it, I wish I used my searchfu before posting. :P

Open all zones to both sides.

Create a new PvE structure that allows people to "fight" (as in oppose by means other than combat) the other faction.

Example, Longbow creates bases in all Villain zones and gives sabotage and liberation missions to heroes. Arachnos creates similar bases in Paragon and gives villains an opportunity to do what they do best.

I have to say I really like this idea, plus it would untie the devs hands as far as adding new zones to the game!

And as far as immersion goes, what does it matter if our villains show up in paragon? There's already uncounted villains running around paragon city being ignored by heroes, what's wrong with a few more?
  7. Supergroup name: S.H.R.E.T.H.
    Leader or Recruiting Officers: Yambu
Prefered method of contact: Ingame email or /t to Yambu
Guild Description: A supergroup on the hero side for anyone who used to play Asheron's Call 2.
  8. Wow, 2 devs that played AC2. Don't suppose we have anyone from harvestgain around here?
  9. I have to say, as bored as I am with longbow, it does make sense. I mean, whenever Magneto is up to no good I'd say about 90% of the time it's the X-Men he ends up getting in a fight with. As villains we just have to get used to seeing the same group of heroes over and over and over and over again.

Until we get thrown into some weird alternate reality where we suddenly become the leaders of the heroes and everything's thrown all out of whack and some of the heroes become villains, but not all of them, and then the universe suddenly ends and everything's back to normal except a few of our dopplegangers from the other universe made it into this one which causes all sorts of other crazy things... anyway, the point is, um, the point... well it's in there somewhere, you figure it out.

    Funny random story...

I got into a debate with someone in Mercy Island a couple weeks back; not even sure what it was about exactly (it was a point of minutea (sp?)) but... this third person suddenly says.

    "shut up i hate nerds"

<,< You can imagine what that did... My response...

    "You're playing a computer game about superheroes, and you're complaining about nerds?" >.>;

    >.> In other words! Take pride in your dorkiness, your geekdom, your granted powers of nerd! <o.O>m

(Nice choice <,< thats what I meant to say!)

    News article about dorks/nerds/geeks, etc.
  11. Here's my attempt at it. I kinda ignored the chess theme, but whatever.

    A fond farewell

Hmmm, Cuppa is gonna come back and wonder where the rest of her office went.
  13. I haven't played with the PvP zones much yet so none of my characters have ever had a shivan shard, yet the random spawn is very common for all of them when I happen to go into bloody bay. When in a group that is zoning in everyone gets sent to a different spot on the map too. It never bothered me because I can usually get moving with my travel power before anything happens to me.
  14. Ctrl+F5 worked for me, but Ctrl+Refresh Button didn't, go figure. :P
