Quote:You can take that stick out of your ***, now.I used to like MiB, but after seeing it a few times, I came to realize how totally insulting it is towards the entire human species.
When J first becomes and agent, there's the tour, and part of the tour is showing how aliens all over earth are being monitored to make sure they stay in line. It's one thing to show the wierd school teacher from Saturn's moon, or Tony Robbins. Fruitcakes who don't really fit in can be aliens as much as they like.
But there were a lot of other people on that wall, like Spielberg, or Elvis (not visible there, but mentioned). Then there's the technology like velcro and CDs, all obtained via alien technology.
I greatly dislike how humans are basically treated as idiot vermin without any creativity or personality. We can't progress our own technology, and our highest echelon creative types aren't people at all, so apparently we can't pull that off either.
So, I don't watch MiB, and I don't intend on seeing MiB3. -
I took Robotic Drones on my main hero for concept reasons. And they're pretty cool with their strong attacks and -regen.

Quote:Bad ***. Love when costume pieces get used creatively.Oddly enough, I haven't used them in that way. I've used one of them--the modernistic, Art Deco-ish, shimmering semicircular arc, for technological/scientific characters. I've rationalized that weirdly glowing semicircle as an kinetic energy collector, FTL radio or force field projector for aliens or time travelers with ultratech.
Basically following Clarke's third law.
Also, yeah, calm down OP. -

At the login screen music plays. He wants alternate themes to be made and play so that there's a little variety each time you log in.
Not a bad idea. I miss the CoV login screen theme, tbh. Wouldn't mind a remastered version of that. -
I've only been keeping up with Captain Atom. It's been alright. Little too Dr. Manhattan for my tastes, as opposed to the original Atom who was more energy based and less "I'm god like in power". That and, at times, the story feels like it's going all over the place.

Not complainin' about discounts. They're always cool.
Any chance you can take back that stupid idea to make the seasonal costume items, though? -

Quote:Can't push a fix that might not exist or work yet.My point was that if they could push the panther fix, they could ALSO push the MM pet AI fix.
They aren't going to sit there and focus all their attention on the one thing that bothers you. If it turns out along the way they figure out how to fix something else, they'll put that out there like they did with this Panther fix. But staring at a problem and neglecting others doesn't mean the solution will magically fall in their lap. Be patient. -
Quote:Rikti storyline got intro'd in a grand, epic fashion and then wrapped up in the same issue. Same with Mot and Dark Astoria. Both amazing issues that few complain about. This should've happened with the Praetorian war.It hasn't failed, period
There's been regular Praetorian content since GR, constantly expanding the Praetorian storyline and building it up to its logical climax where we finally smash the last of the loyalists and their evil master.
Praetoria failed. The three GR zones are ghost towns, FW really only gets played once then forgotten about, and NW is just more of the same, only with even less quality. The heavy presence it's had on the Incarnate system makes zero sense and feels forced. If Praetoria were a ball, the devs didn't just drop it. They slammed it into the ground. -
Quote:Pretty weak argument, tbhOk obviously what is meant to be 'mystical' looks stupid to me. What other mystical mobs do we have? Cot? No magical flying back bits on them.
This isn't a CoT pack. It's Celestial. The pieces don't connect, and weren't meant to. If you don't like the pieces, don't use them. -
The Celestial back pieces aren't supposed to be stuck to your back. They're meant to float behind you, giving you a sort of otherwordly, mystic, ethereal tribal look.
In fact they'd probably look stupid if they did connect to your back. -

Might just be prepping the servers in advance, since the event, I23, and all sorts of new powersets and stuff are on the horizon. Do a little work now so there'll be less to do once they start launching stuff.

Talk to the Longbow Scientist at the very beginning. Go through everything she has to say, and she'll clear you to take samples. Her name will be grey, but she looks like a Warden and will have a tech device. For villains, substitute the Longbow scientist with an Arachnos one.
Then you hit up each of the four meteors throughout the trial. Once you get a sample from all four, you'll get the badge. -
Off the top of my head, he complained about his steam powered computer crashing, gave a shout out to a specific player, commented on his war horses not showing up, responded to a couple questions, made a pretty corny and unintimidating threat or two, among a few other unimportant things that should've been put only in zone-wide chat.
It got old really quickly, and was pretty painful to read through due to how cornball and silly it was. I'm not asking for award winning banter here, but this isn't Bad Penny we're talking about. It's Lord Nemesis, the man who took advantage of WWII and seized control of the Americas. At least act like you're treating your character seriously.
And despite what Zwill said, only around 25% of what was said qualified as "important." -
They never gave a date on it's release after it showed up in Beta. Can't complain.
And echoing what other folks said, they can't come up with a winner every week for 52 weeks a year. Some months will have loads, some months'll be a bit dry. No big, game's still here an working, and nothing's taken away from us. Don't be so entitled. -
