I blame r0y. It seems I log into a toon that I haven't used for MONTHS, and they either are:

A) dead
B) wearing some new "costume"
C) in some random AE building (aka not Atlas/Cap)
D) combo of any/all of above.

Had a fantastic time! At first, I thought the play one team at each level would really hurt some teams, but help others and thought we should all do each level, but that would take a long time.

As such, it did roll along very smoothly and was a great event. I'd like to see this again, and with more people.

Just tell them it will start at 7pm, but wink/nod to the prompt people/groups to show up by 8, and we can all start on time!

Reminds me of a joke (in Romanian): the town crier, in a mixed German and Romanian village came out announcing a royal wedding... "Germans: the wedding will be at 12-noon! Romanians, the wedding will begin at 11am!" - so they all showed up at the same time...

Or something like that.

Sadly, I've used about 10 or so on FyreBlast and STILL have 64 free tailor icons...

I wish I could transfer them to Bug, it'd be just as easy as fronting him another couple mil for costumes.

It would have been cool if he screen-shoted all his different costumes, and did a collage of them all... It would probably print out on a nice 3m x 3m board... assuming they were printed small enough.

(note that 1337 use of metric for his Denmarkian [censored]).

Yeah, I saw a few old-school players come back... just in time to realize how much shittier the game has gotten. I mean, many of us have been sitting in the water for a while and do not notice the boil.

Those that have been away for a bit, esp. pvp'ers, come back and are shocked. Then they promptly leave again.

Which is probably not a problem with the makers of this game, as the pvp'ers were not what they were really focusing on at any point in the game's history.

I don't think you'll see a sudden evaporation of players, but over time, there will be drops as pre-paid/long-term accounts are not renewed. I know my three are in that category, with one already dropped never to renew. The others are months away.

Maybe they want City of Asskissery? Who knows / Who cares.

You take out the Farmers from RV, and the zone is as dead as Sirens or Bloody Bay (on most servers).

This raises my eyebrows... have you contacted Customer no-Service about this? Hopefully, it is just a single glitch. If not, that would not only be bad, but illegal.

Bait-and-switch is not allowed in the U.S., even for customers purchasing from the UK. Unfortunately, it usually means a Class-Action, which only the attorneys win, but still severely harms the company...

Has anyone stopped to think that this is exactly "Paragon Studios" wanted? I mean, could it be SO BAD trying to code/modify/add to this game that they really do want to give it up, but have contractual issues with NCSoft?

If I had a kludgey system of hacks and patches, it would not take long to become unwieldly. Sooner or later, the plug should be pulled and everyone can go on their merry way.

I just cannot imagine this much incompetence exists in one place outside the government. I'm optimistic that this is just one facet of someone's master plan.

Please tell me that Statesman and his group that left did not see this writing on the wall so long ago... please!

Besides mashing buttons and playing dress-up, what else is there to do in this game anymore?

Well, I'll say I am in a similar boat, but it's likely this post, too, will get deleted.

Pretty frightening what's happened to this game in the last year. Wonder what the behind-the-scenes is like. Bet there is some great drama and stories to tell (and they will come out eventually, if anyone anywhere is still interested).

When will we get to customize the Targeting drone? Blasters don't get any fancy-schmancy weapon customizations (unlockable, of course) except AR (tommygun ftw!).

Since the vet reward for pets (second pets that actually contribute minimally) are things like Fairies and Wisps, I thought... wouldn't it be cool to have a WISP for a T-drone!

Granted, I don't think I'd like a Fairy flying around my head, but little yellow birds might be funny... (ala bugs bunny cartoons when someone is dazed).

Seriously, we could think of other things in addition to the defacto t-drone, I think that'd be pretty cool. Make sure it could "orbit" (i.e. spin on it's own axis and around a central point of your head, you pointy-headed bastige).

Wisps seems good, or maybe the various elemental things (think of the /e juggle??? items from the magic booster) like fire spheres, ice spheres, crystal-like ones, even dark (but don't think that'd work well).

It would be nice to hear from whomever is in charge of such things. Should be a simple re-maping of textures to the model, provided they're about the same size as the existing t-drone. Then a new sound loop or two... heh, could even have the Star Wars one that Luke played with on the Falcon back in '79...

Anyway, just some thoughts.

What are the PATRON powers available for each VEAT? I was looking for this info, but didn't really see anything.

I did see some posts that made it appear that Crabs have the Brute powers... what do Widows and Fortunatas get? Power wise (not GW, Mako, etc).

The widow is a nice, fast and fun-to-play AT. I love it. The early game is VERY nice (between the +TH buff for n00bs under 20 and the +ACC auto, you'll rarely miss).

Later, the melee attacks become ridiculously-priced endurance wise - mainly because if you are used to claws and their cheap endurance attacks, you'll not find the same here.

Slash is a great attack, but costs over 14 endurance! Yikes! Is it as cool as Knockout Blow or Energy Transfer? NO WAY, but it is your BEST single-target attack; from hide, it's like a gimped stalker.

So in the early levels (pre-Masked Presence or hide) the build feels like a blaster. Or Blapper, to be precise. Except without the HP, but with mez protection and a little defense.

Then, in the late 20's / early 30's you can decide to become stalker-esque. A slowed down version of a blapper, waiting for Hide or Placate... still, playing in this style makes me think "This is what stalkers should have been like"

...well, before they got even MORE buffs...

Widows can be challenging, if you push it; but if you are a more timid player, they will be loads of fun!

Currently at level 40 on my Widow, I'd like to know what the options are for Patrons.
