I still have this mission on one of my alts that I'm playing atm, It's a good way of farming those red caps for the badge, once thats done you can attempt to fail it or petition it but as said above, it's impossible to complete.

Lmao at the tram thing, I did that after about two years of play, stone drunk one night and couldn't get on the tram, I even shouted in broadcast in my drunken state, I was promptly corrected and I remember finding it hillarious!

True story.

My two kids have their own toons on my account but they are 4 and 7 years old, I won't allow them to play the game until they are much older, they do however enjoy making characters and running around the tutorial under my supervision.

I do however look forward to the day when they start playing the game, are stuck on a team fighting a strong opponent and they go like "Hold on team, we're gonna call our dad, he's a super lvl 50 and can solo AVs and pylons, he'll kick it's a$$ for us" and hopefully the whole team will be like "wow, your dads so cool" and yes, I have totally spent waaaaay too much time thinking about this.

Yes you are correct, Although I may set up a stand in atlas offering help and advice on game mechanics and content to level 50 AE players so I can do my part in helping the new CoH-AE community.

No rewards other than xp/inf and vanguard merits which can be used to purchase stuff in the RWZ like Costume pieces and Temp powers and other misc stuff like weapon skins.

Note that during a "decent" raid you won't get like 20 or so merits, you will walk away with hundreds of these things to spend as you please, raids are a bunch of fun and well worht the time if yuo can manage to get the right people doing one.

You can solo to 50, I solo 99% of my toons, only my HEATS and VEATS team before 50.

To be honest there is no better way in my experience, I've been soloing my toons since I started this game and the only repetative thing to me is getting the same accolades on every single fricking toon I make *yawn*. Best advice I can give is don't stick to one route, mix it up, AE/Contacts/Radio/Papers and Ouro missions, do all the content till 25 then go to ouro and do what you missed, get your badges for your accolades. You will find you will have so much to do you will be scared of out-leveling things.

(Which reminds me, you can niow turn xp gain off in your in game options, nifty little tool)

Only thing you should team for is Giant Monsters just to mix things up. TF/SF if you wish, but the road to solo 50 is slow and painful, the good thing about it is you really do learn so much about this game and your AT, but it's good to learn team dynamics and how you perform in one along the way.
