I'm addicted. Now I just need that Vet Reward.
-
Merge the US and EU forums? Maybe.
Merge the US and EU servers?...
EHHHH. -
Well, if you're already running and want to issue a Stay command to your pets, you just press SHIFT+S while still holding W. This won't make you stop running, unless you release W.
I've seen that Bind-set before. To me, it seems much too tacky. I'm sure others like it though, but I don't. -
I see your point...
However, I want to keep it plain and simple. -

2. What about petcomname?
[/ QUOTE ]
Petcomname is different from Petcompow. The pow in Petcompow means Power, as in the power Call Bruiser. The name in Petcomname means... Well, the Pet's specific name. If Petcomname is used, whenever the names are changed, you will have to make entriely new binds.
you may even have to make multiple binds, when one would be more than enough. -
Right. This'll be my first attempt at making any sort of guide. If you can call it that. Anyway, I'll just put up the bindset now.
These are all preceded by the /bind command:
SHIFT+W PETCOMALL GOTO
SHIFT+A PETCOMALL ATTACK
SHIFT+S PETCOMALL STAY
SHIFT+D PETCOMALL FOLLOW
CTRL+A PETCOMALL AGGRESSIVE
CTRL+S PETCOMALL DEFENSIVE
CTRL+D PETCOMALL PASSIVE
CTRL+W PETCOMALL DEFENSIVE FOLLOW (Instantly puts your pets in Bodyguard mode.)
These are best if you have a mouse with extra buttons.
BUTTON4 PETCOMPOW [Tier 3 pet's name (E.G. Bruiser)] GOTO
SHIFT+BUTTON4 PETCOMPOW [Tier 2 pet's name (E.G. Enforcers)] GOTO
CTRL+BUTTON4 PETCOMPOW [Tier 1 pet's name (E.G. Punks)] GOTO
These three commands can be good for setting up ambushes, or if you simply want to move your pets to a more beneficent position.
( NOTE! If you don't have a mouse with extra buttons, using V (You can, of course, use another button if you wish.) instead of BUTTON4 (Alternatively BUTTON5) might be a viable option. I have not tried using V myself. Also, you're not supposed to use the pet's name that you've GIVEN them, but the POWERS name.)
I believe this to be a Medium-Control bind-set, as it gives you somewhat Basic commands, that are easy and quick to access, letting you change your pets Stance and behaviour quickly, from Attack to Follow, and vice versa.
I hope this will be useful for some people, at least.
EDIT: Aah, now I'm starting to wonder if I should have placed this in Masterminds instead of Player Guides! -
I don't want to change the look. I know that's unlikely to happen. I mean to allow one to use Temporaries, kinda like those you get depending on your origin.
-
No, I'm not talking about the Veteran awards ones. I had something different in mind.
I like getting Ranged Temporaries on, say, my Scrapper. I got the Wave Scrambler once, which looks like the Psychic Scream attack.
Now, I think that being allowed to choose one or two Permanent temps of MOST powers in the game, but not high-level ones, could be a pretty fun thing. doesn't seem like a game-breaker to me.
For example, being able to take some low-level Energy attacks, or taking a Burst attack (Which could mean you could get some more customisation, perhaps). I don't think it would be a good idea to allow pets, by the way. Game-breaker, Methinks.
I'm not sure if these should be slottable, or if Defensive/Self-healing powers should be allowed.
I think I've said what I want to say. I'm gonna ask for an opinion on this now...
(Forgive me if this seems jumbled together...) -
Right... I want to get in this SG. Would it be a problem if I said that my character is a Field Marshal? (I took the rank on a whim. Ehe.) Character's name is Psi-Unit.
