Welcome Aboard, Dylan! I love this server! It's got some of the most amazing ppl you will ever meet.

We've got Dancing Pingus (@Iltat), one of the Blue Man Group who opted out of service (@Cobalt Azurean), a wonderful raid leader (@Amygdala), a harry Knight (@Fanged Knight), a cupcake lover who is mistell queen (@Cherry Cupcake), a dude with 4 uteri (@4shes), an Army guy (@SteelDominator) and his wife (@Imamankiller), a bottle of beer (@ Budweiser), and a bunch of stoners (Stoned Templars), a guy who wishes he had a pony (@Disciple of Horus) and a man who wishes he WAS a pony (@Force), a guy who's beaten all the speed records there ever were (@Kahlan) and his faithful sidekick (@Amily), and we even have our own server DJs (@Dazz Marvelous and @Sinny). We have a chicken (@Chicken O Matic) and a MAH (He's dubbed himself as Most Amazing EVERYTHING), a BUNCH of Canadians, (@Gender Poison and @Canuker to name a few) and we even have a server Event Calender that EVERYthing gets posted on.

We pretty much have everything anyone could possibly want with the exception of a bunch of cat girls... oh wait, we have that too... @Black Tabby is one. So in hindsight we have EVERYTHING!

OK Kiddies...it seems that Hami Mondaze is no longer feasible for me. While the name was rockin, it was so hard with the current events to coordinate and with my kids' spring schedules. So I'm opting for Angie's Impromptu Hami Raids from here on out.

The idea was totally @Amily and I want to thank her IMMENSELY for it.

So I'll still be having a raid every week or so just not on every one day of the week....mixin it UP!!! Plannin on a sneak attack...better watch yourself...yeah I'm done now. Thanks!

Based on the specs that you posted, and based on the price limitation you have, i would suggest an ATI Radeon 4670. It goes for around $60.00 from Newegg or TigerDirect.

It's a good low budget card that might help you meet your goals of better gaming without Ultramode.

It should be easy to install, and does not require a power connector, so your PC power supply should be able to handle it.

My personal recommendation would be the ATI Radeon 5770, but it is more expensive and more than likely would require a new power supply for your PC. It goes for about $120 or so.

Ideally, i would suggest building a new PC (see Father X-Mas posts for a a budget gaming PC) but i understand that that you might be limited as far as budget is concerned.

Others more tech savy than me might be able to point a card that might a better match to your system specs, but i believe that based on your system, no desire for UM and your shopping budget that the 4670 might help you.

And what Amy said. With CU, BMT, and any other channel you can find, IMO SG's are not necessary but are not unwanted. I'm a member of both channels and I never have an issue with finding something to do.

But here's some advice: Do not wait for it to come to you. Put yourself out there and start the teams. Mingle, meet and greet ppl in the channels when they say "goodmorning" and generally make yourself known to ppl. Help out ppl and do not hesitate to ASK for assistance when you need it.

You're right. Champions is a friendly server and it's because of the ppl in it. Enjoy!!

I should have clarified myself a little better, but this was meant for everyone, I used "you" as a general term and I apologize if it sounded like I was targeting you, Shay.

yes PLEASE, in the interest of fairness, bring 50's to the raid. I'll give you multiple reasons and you can pick yours or whatever.

1. Having a lvl 50 gives you shard drops. If you bring a NON-50 you are not only missing out but you are also taking the potential spot of a lvl 50 that is in need of said shards.

2. If for some reason I need to get a new team leader, and it sometimes happens as this last raid will show you, I cannot rely on you and, there again, you are taking the spot of a lvl 50 that would have been beneficial to the team and the raid.

...yeah that's all I could come up with for the moment. Those are the reasons I bring 50's

So you only get those choices.

Level on teams and on missions. Be at your maximum best at raids.
