I just want to say that I'm thankful to the devs for putting out these FREE issues. Unlike some MMO's that have paid expansions it's nice to know that I don't -have- to shell out another cost of a full box on top of the $15.00 a month for continued gaming. If things aren't always 'on schedule' I'm fine with it because.. well.. it's 'free'.
Keep up the good work and until the server hamsters stop running in their wheels, Make Mine City of. -
As far as i13 is concerned, take all the time you need. Quality over quantity if you ask me. Sure people clamor for wanting it 'nao' but honestly most of those folks IMHO will be the first to complain about glitches with a premature release.
So Posi says it's coming and that's good enough for me.
....and enough double entendre in those last two sentences to make me stop posting anything for the next few minutes. -
Curse you Devs. Curse you with sweet sugar coated candy coated awesomeness.
....now I'm going to have even -MORE- altitis. -

Man... I really love how this thread went. How often can you talk about giant knockers and smaller (but still giant) knockers? LMAO

I have no less than 12 Steampunk Characters.

Quoted due to awesomeness of Kos.
*obligatory pics or it didn't happen*
Also, as a former 'Digital Jockey' for an online MMO-gamer centric 'radio station' that I won't name, I used to play a LOT Abney Park on my time slot. Until recently they were very much more 'Dark' or 'Goth'-esque. I'm interested in the new direction (Captain) Robert has taken. (Hells I want to make a kilt like they have listed for purchase on their site. However with a bit more leather)
Rasputina definitely borrows from the Victorian era yet I'd be hesitant to pidgeon hole them under 'steampunk' as well.
However, both groups are pure aural sex and I encourage anyone who hasn't listened to them to do so. Your ears will thank me. -
As Willy Wonka (Wilder version) said, "The suspense is terrible, I hope it lasts."

I'd like to echo the love for Skender. That's one of the best robot designs I've seen.

D'awww...thanks! Skender's probably my second favorite character behind my two mains that are tied for 1st.
Nice to see the creative ways folks are bringing the 'punk into City of. -
The steam driven automaton/battle support and close range combat construct known as Skender
He was built by Velocity of the Guardian Force as 'backup' when she was engaged with multiple targets in the field. However, strange things happen when constructs are given a name, especially when it's Ravendown, an avatar of the goddess Morrigan, a celitic goddess of battle, who's handing out the names...
Now Skender has his own free will and has recently modified himself to refine his close quarters combat ability in addition to further testing the limits of his original support functions. -
Quoting Plas:
[ QUOTE ]
However, many things have been changed by a large number of replies, not so much the content to those replies. If Arcanaville (as an example) presents a well placed arguement for pack hunting velociraptors with super speed in a new jungle zone. Odds are there won't be a heck of a lot many others could contribute to the idea as presented, thus /signed shows support for the idea and indicates I don't have anything to add that's not already been said by the first dozen or so people on this thread, but ido want my voice to be heard.
[/ QUOTE ]
In the past I'd be tempted to just quote Plas and say /signed as I am in agreement with the idea presented.
However at this point in time I will verbosely and vocaly as a vestige of the vox populi take volumionus amounts of time to validate my feelings in reply. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to vouch for Plas's position.
...or you know.. I coulda typed 6 characters on the keyboard to do the same as above.

Energy Torrent-
Description: You shoot a cone of minor smashing damage that will knock your foes back.
Usefulness: This power is not useful for a fire/fire scrapper due to the knockback.
Question: on a scrapper isn't it actually knock'down' instead of knockback due to the decreased mag? IMHO this would be a good opener before jumping in. Even if it is knock'back' using the map to your advantage to corral the mobs or reposition them could be a good thing.
Also, seconding Air Sup as a possible power. It's a great 'juggling' tool for managing tougher targets.
YMMV

It's June so you know what that means! And no, I can't say it any better than our resident elf-momma Niranen, so here's the nitty-gritty.

They come from all paths, be it from the power of Technology, Science, Magic, Mutation, or through some Natural design. These gathered have deemed it worthwhile to commune together. Some do it for protection, others for access to the Warrens, the home of Anathema, and still others do it simply because there is nothing better happening in the Rogue Isles. OOCly, Anathema is the Dauntless' Villainside counterpart.

We are looking at this system right now and pushing to bolster, under normal circumstances it will be fine, considering everyone is getting new slots today it's being a tad over worked right now.

Seriously, I can't say enough about how happy the new slots make me. A cornucopia of TY's would be entirely insufficient. -
I know it'll diminish my contribution to "City Of" by $15 bucks, but I gotta say 'THANK YOU' for continuing to contribute to my Alt-itis and helping consolidating my Vet rewards onto one account.

See this is where things don't make sense... "Hello this is clip art"...
But it's used in a licensed D&D product.
It's used in a logo for a company and I would assume that logo would be copyrighted... rightfuly or wrongfuly I don't know...
So both cases there, I would assume, to me a mere mortal that works in the realm of the written word, would scream "Hey these companies are using this symbol, maybe I shouldn't use without asking because it might belong to them?"
I wouldn't take a direct quote out of 'War and Peace' and use it in a story without citing the original source.
By that mentality heck, I could take the whole City Scoop, rename it the City Dish, change the font, and say "look what I made."
If you read the lower link Sayterra posted you'd see that this design in question is an original copyrighted design from 1990. Heck, type in Tree of Life in google and the first image you get and click on takes you to the same exact site where it mentions that others have been using said image (some expressly without permission) and that if you want to use it, to contact Mrs Delyth.
It's not a battleground, Yuri issued a statement and Sayterra found another instance where another's artists work was being used without due mention. It's simple as that. -

Kesh Zhox is my little shape-shifting space bug who happened to have merged with a nictus after his home planet was destroyed. The result was a complete merge of the two and Kesh became 'travelers' as Kesh puts it. Here on 'Planet Urth' he is studying Urth hero 'mythology' as well as those heroes of Paragon City... so...that being said, Kesh takes on many many different appearances.
