  1. Bah! not fully in progress, push back on the to-do list. Due to an RL move. (anyone want to help me pack a box?)

As for the skin tones in colors, the bottom 3 rows are actually not exactly the same as the main 160 colors. Only the row for black gray and white are the same.

The green in the skin tone and the green in the 160 main chart do not match. There is a shading difference. As I recall.
  2. It's nice but, it seems to be missing the DarkJedi touch, I don't know what that is, if its the finer details or something else.

I'm noticing that the, legs on the two characters seem a bit odd and bulky, especially on the upper thigh area. Or at least it's lacking some muscle definition. Also the hands of Chief Justice look as if he was holding a flag and lost it. It looks too loose to be a fist raised and ready to fight.

Naturally this is just my opinion and if the client/friend enjoys it, that's all that matters.

    Avatars?

I believe there are sites that have images of the 8bit characters and some of their animations pulled out frame by frame.

Some folks adjust the sprites to look like their own COX characters, which fantastic results. I think there are few threads somewhere around here about it.

Other than that animated avatars aren't too difficult. (I think there was a guide on it in the Players Guide section.
  4. Always send an email
    support@mmoart.com

If you're going to do a PM it would best do send one from their forums. But EMAIL would be the first and best route.
  5. I'm still an unhitched gamer Woman...so now when's the guide for: "How to make your Hubby/BF less grumpy after you soundly thrash him in a game" come out?

    (nicely done OP, nicely done)
  6. Archetype icons pretty much indentify COH and COV. I've used those icons in the splash page to my SG Network's website. (link in sig)
  7. I think Sparky should enter any of his comics, they're hiliarous!

Just wondering, is there a version of this great named-type chart, for the Skin Tones?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I really have to buckle down and make the Skin Tones list Soon(tm). It's been on my mental to-do list for a long time. Now if I can figure out just what name the skin tones I'd be all set.
  9. Repeat Offenders Network
    On Freedom, Justice & Virtue

    (Founded August 2005)

    Who are you people?!
We are a group of mature players and some vets that enjoy specialized and themed teaming.

In August 2005, a few people who were regular posters and lurkers in the Defender section came upon a thread started by Teklord. He proposed a specialized team for Kinetic Defenders. The idea took off and the team quickly became Pinball Wizards . A few weeks later Pinball Wizards joined with Perfect Storms, an all Storm SG. Next the Wizards linked with Green Machines, an Empathy Offenders SG and Bubblelicious an all Force Field SG. A global channel was created to connect these groups, it was called Pinball Wizards. When many members learned of the pending launch of City of Villains, the global channel was renamed to Repeat Offenders.

In October 2005, City of Villains was released and many Heroes were seduced by the dark side. Repeat Offenders was created to cater corruptors. Quickly afterward, Malicious Multiplicity (Masterminds) and World Domination Inc. (Dominators) and Crack Dealers (dba Fast & the Furious, a Brute and Kinetic Corruptor VG)

From a small beginning, Repeat Offenders grew into the large coalition network we have now. We currently have 38 Supergroups spanning three servers, a dedicated leadership and a friendly, knowledgeable community.

To keep up with so many groups all of the SG were linked in coalitions. Our main communication line to all our SGs is via the Global Channel: Repeat Offenders. The driving force of our network is our coalitions and willingness to utilize our interconnectivity to build teams.

How do I join one of your SG?
Each RO Network SG has their own forum section, some have requirements for joining others may not. Visit the Repeat Offenders forums and check the Supergroup you're interested in to see what that group requires. When you're ready, sign up on our forums or join our global channel (Repeat Offenders) and ask for an invite.

I have a few more questions, who can I talk to?
You can post your questions here or use any of the following contact methods...

    Website/Forum: Repeat-Offenders.net
    Global Channel: Repeat Offenders
  10. I'm refering to the information in the post, not the person who posted it. This isn't about Lighthouse. I'm aware of his limiations in this matter and his history.

The Art Community and NCSoft have a sorted history. The idea that "Hey take your stuff over here" is a gesture of good will, is a bit naive. It might not be malicious but its hardly a step in the right direction.

I wouldn't expect a partnership with Deviant Art, that is a pipe dream. I would expect the same support as the EU forums. That is not asking for too much. There is nothing to be lost from embracing those creative souls who enjoy a company product so much that they use their talents to promote it. And yet, here the artist stand, getting moldy crumbs and are expected to swoon with gratitude.
  11. I really don't think it’s about the site they picked...at least its not with me.

I don't really view this as "trying" or shooting oneself in the foot. This is simply marketing partnership with Curse. Let's not make it seem like this is an olive branch, because its not.

It’s difficult to look at the EU site (of the same game) and see that they’re more welcoming of their artist than the US site. Artist on this forum want to have a place to post their fan art. To have contests based upon that artwork. To not be treated like a criminal because artwork is based upon a game. Not to be denied a showcase because someone has a business based on their talent.

When a committee is formed with the idea of promoting fan art, then that would be an olive branch. That post reads like marketing deal with Curse. Instead of asking the Art Community what are their ideas, they get a post pim*ing them another site.
  12. Probably because of the rated R, NC-17 and X stuff on Deviant Art. Also Deviant art isn't simply just a gaming focused site.

Personally I find DA a bit slow and somewhat painful to surf through. There other artwork sites out there, of course there's the option of simply creating your own place.

    The Dance

I just noticed the entwined tails make a heart. Had to glance at it twice.

    The Dance

Nice work Graver... Even the demons like to trip the light, fantastic.

What's amazing to me, is that it reminds of a story I wrote called "The Dance", one of the characters is a demon as well. I'll havta send BillZ that little short diddy someday.

For those of you still showing your support by using the Big Red Ball avatar, I've moved the image to my own webhost.

Nice job Buckey! I know well how long TA has been trying to tell that tale. Glad someone was able to put it down on paper for him

    *hugs Alty*

I hope ya don't take offense and I would actually still love to read what you had. It's just that I've had so many requests for his bio and I didn't wanna embarass myself lol!

    I still love ya Peaches!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Nope no offense taken. Nothing to be offended about. It's the tale of TA and like the images, there should be many versions. That's how you create a legend!

  18. The color chart has been moved and the file type changed. It is now a PNG.

Color Chart - 160 Named colors PNG [590K]

  19. This is a larger size about 100px or so, just to make sure this is what you wanted.

  20. I can do this... Any type of font you want for the text?
  21. WOOTY WOOT that's Acid Queen on page 25 err um smacking her rear

Did I already state the obvious...I got confused by the sigh
  23. I thought I posted in this thread....*sigh*

I said I would think that WP nemesis would be a Grav/Storm. And that possible they would be a woman. What better way to clip wings than force them to the ground in a storm. Also I would possible make the character wheelchair bound, as WP can fly and the nemesis cannot.

As for the yin yang then it would be the darker more violent half to WP. How would he be with his wings clipped, unable to fly? Not sure of WP background just going on the visual.

Geez wonder where my post went...anyway that was the meat of it. I wrote out this long thing...coulda sworn I posted it.
  24. No its was complied from the information on the 3 workshop tables (hero or villain doesn't matter)
