One of the things I'm considering is dropping the 6-slotted Razzle Dazzle in the Boxing power , reducing Boxing to 1 slot, and using 4 of the slots I gain from that to bring Weave, MoG, and Combat jumping up to 4 slotted LoTG for the +9% accuracy set bonus, and dropping the 5th slot into Recall Friend (for a 3rd BoTZ and 1% or so AoE Def) or into Fast Healing so I can put a second Miracle in there for the 2.5% End recovery bonus.

This is a spines/regen scrapper I'm working on. Other than general survivability and *** kicking, I also want him to be able to stealth+TP on TF's, even when exemped down for Positron (which is why he has Super Speed with a +stealth IO and Recall Friend).
Any suggestions for improvements, or things I've overlooked?

Mine is based on my first character in the first MMO I ever played: Caliban Loreseeker, a monk I played in Everquest many years ago.
(The name Caliban itself comes from a character in Shakespeares "The Tempest"... or a morlock from Marvel Comics (who was named after the same character). -

There are jerks everywhere you go, not just in CoX PVP. And where did you get the number 90% from?
And the 90% is base on my personal experiences in the PvP zones. Either the zone is empty and I can do my business and get out, or there are some PvPer's in there who once they find me won't leave me alone until I'm dead or I've left the zone.
A PvE build that's lost most of it's IO set bonuses is no match for a PvP build optimized for the zone/combat level it's in. -
I don't want to PvP. 90% of those who choose to PvP are jerks that I don't want to spend time around. The 10% who are not jerks don't make up for it.
I only encounter PvP when it's inflicted on me as I enter a PvP zone for a badge, Shivan, or Nuke that I want. I usually wait until the zone is empty and get out as soon as possible, as my toons are built for PvE, and my IO set bonuses are gone because I'm not the right level anymore. If I do run into one of the PvP ******** while I'm getting what I need, I generally leave as I cannot compete with them and they generally won't leave me alone.
And doing an expensive rebuild of my character just so I can spend more time with these jerks? No thank you. -
Here's the current build I plan on using for him (it incorporates an Acc/Dam Hami-O and a Acc/Rech Hecatomb that dropped for me).
It's got soft-capped defenses (even with zero allies for Phalanx fighting) and 44% defense debuff resistance. (There's a version with a lot more Hami-Os that has 88% debuff resistance and better End cost on the toggles, but I don't have the cash for that one yet.)

I working on a build for a DM/SD brute, and as it stands right now I only have room for one of these two powers.
Which one do you think is better - the -to hit and -dam from Darkest Night on nearby foes, or the +hp, +Res, +Rec on "One With the Shield" - given the End loss when it ends. (I'm not counting the status protection bonuses, as they will rarely be a factor due to Active Defense)

I think there is something that can cause the badges to not be awarded properly, wether it is an odd lag effect, an outright bug, or some combination of the two.
Fortunately, the events were happening often enough (and I was home sick) that it wasn't a hardship to get the badges later. -

Took my Warshade from lvl 38 to 50, then took advantage of the fact that you can still gain levels when you are exemplared in a TF and took a Shield/Waraxe tank from lvl 2 to lvl 34 (sewers-> KR bank mish -> Positron TF ->Synapse TF->Citadel TF -> Manticore TF).
Tonight I'll probably do the Midnighter Arc so I hit lvl 35, and then do the Numina TF. -

The only "big" compromise that you generally have to make at any point is taking and slotting Stamina (3 power choices and 2-3 extra slots). The issue still stands that you can't just throw in as many endurance assistance tools as you possibly can and expect to crank your performance to such a degree as to need all of that redundant endurance. If you take Stamina, PP, CP, and the auto accolades and get all of those powers slotted decently, chances are incredibly good that, unless you're running */DA (which is the outlier because it's one of the few sets based around using endurance as the limiting factor to its performance), you're going to be running with a substantial endurance surplus. You can't just crank up your endurance costs to increase your performance because you've got extra endurance to spend. If you did, everyone would go for as much endurance as they could possibly get because it would have a direct effect upon their actual performance.
I'm running 5 or 6 toggles at all times, and with a fast attack chain I use end slightly faster than I can recover it. Maybe after I pick up a 2nd Performance Shifter + End. -
It would have a chance to trigger for each target affected by the power, so some would get the boost and some would not.

However, you're sacrificing a lot for that survivability. Aim is a huge offensive power that you've skipped, and having only two out of the six possible pets drastically cuts down on your DPS.
You'll lose that beautiful Ranged softcap pretty quickly solo, but you don't have any way to keep the mob off you, and your damage output is lacking, so you're not best-suited to solo.
In teams, you'll probably be the last person left standing, but the team might have survived if you'd been dealing more damage.
I swapped out the Spiderlings for Bile Spray. Venom Grenade + Bile Spray does more damage, in a much larger area.
Jetpack lets me hover and rain death if I need to stay out of melee.
All I can really say is this build does more DPS with better survivability than my previous one. -

However, you should know that the Cimerorans have a -def buff on almost every attack, and some can crit like a scrapper. Even my brute will eventually have his defenses reduced to heavy negatives, and even with 89% resist, the damage adds up when 16 of them are hitting you every time, and critting on several of them. (I deal with it by teleporting away, so that their debuff has faded by the time they catch up to me again.)
That being said, it's usually only an issue when when i'm soloing them. If you are being buffed by the team, it shouldn't be a problem. -
