This would be a complete non-issue if Zwillinger, Hit Streak, or other red name came out and said, unequivocally, that the aura would be permanently on the market in September (of 2012).

A big part of me wants to know how you guys would react if someone was handed something in front of you, unique that you also had interest in for a holiday, such as Christmas.

I already mentioned one way... whoever follows CoH on twitter (which is what they are trying to build up anyway) gets thrown into a bucket and then winning names could be drawn from that. THAT is fair. doesnt rely on quickness of fingers quickness of internet connection, time restraints from having to be at work, etc etc etc...

I don't have a phone. I'm not sitting at home on my butt in front of my computer 24/7 refreshing Twitter. I have responsibilities. I still managed to get a Kirby Dot aura yesterday.
Meanwhile, we still have freebies weekly in-game! That's right. Twitter isn't the ONLY place to obtain FREE stuff - they give away a freebie in-game almost weekly on the paragon market!
What more free stuff do you all want? There is no fair way to do this. Those who wish to be dedicated will find a way to get the freebies posted on Twitter. I made my Twitter account for City of Heroes. Why can't you? -

I'm getting really sick of everyone wanting everything automatically granted to their account just for having an account in good standing.
These are FREE things people! FREE!
The people who wish to obtain them are pitching tents near twitter.
You have the ability to do so aswell.
People whined because procs were at too low of rates and weren't guarenteed -
soon enough, we'll have procs that will have virtually equivalent draw rates for all players.
People whined that purple recipes weren't easy enough to obtain. Now you can buy them!
I'm sorry, but I like a challenge here and there. If I have to pitch a tent to get a code I want, god dammit I will - and you can too! Stop complaining because the FREE stuff is in limited quantity. You have equal chances of everyone else of obtaining them.
Best of all! This is EVERY Thursday! Don't want to pitch a tent today? Pitch one next week!
I pray the community team takes absolutely none of your complaints into consideration and views this not as our "leaders" but as human beings. It's FREE stuff you wouldn't ever have a chance at obtaining otherwise for the time being - just because someone else beats you to the punch doesn't mean the punch bowl should be refilled immediately for 50,000 other people and yourself. You had the same opportunity to walk over and grab some. -

What's to complain about FREE stuff that we all have an equal chance of obtaining?
If you don't care about Kirby Dots and never have before - then don't visit the twitter page. If it's something you desire, cast a tent and be ready. -

This base of mine is a beautiful, styled, organized obstacle course with several routes to be taken- time your runs, race your friends or just check out the coolest obstacle course on Freedom! Just recently finished, this base will surely impress! Screenshot previews to come.

That would be a first, since they have not done that with a single costume code they have released in this manner ever.
Sure, they might make some of the costume pieces available (like with the Carnival of Shadows pack missing the Strongman), but the power to temp change into one? Nope, not so far anyway.
Frowned upon, since these were "convention EXCLUSIVES" .. but they have.
And they've done the costume pieces a few times.. I.e. Praetorian Clockwork and Olympian Guard are both now able to be obtained in individual costume pieces -
Anywho, PM'd ingame with my offer. I'm interested still. -

these haven't been available since.. i4 and you're looking to -use- them? I have about 6x Iron, 30 Discipline that I wouldn't imagine selling for under 100mil per Disc, 1 bil per Iron- I could never imagine actually using them for anything outside VERY important 1v1 arena fights (where the +Protection is actually provided from these).. and even then, I'd stick to Discipline's.
Also, note that these can't be activated while mez'd, making their abilities far less meaningful than a breakfree's. -

This one of those things you simply will -never- see ingame. A level 53 Ribosome Exposure. Easily trumping any Res/End IO you'll find, this is simply a beauty. Mix that with the fact these have always been -extremely- rare and even thus, has not been spawned since i8 and we have ourselves one of the rarest items to ever spawn in COH.
Taking offers, no Buy-It-Now in mind yet.
