    I understand what you are saying but This badge requires you to be kinda a jackass when it comes to team builds. more than 2 tanks is a waste of a potential damage dealer/debuffer/buffer. Some of those tanks might be badgers, but we have to make sacrifices. On Freedom I did 3 runs just so everyone could switch out and get the badges on their main toons.

    I'll try to bring my fire/kin or my Ill/Time. Both +3 T4's everything. Also have a THug/Dark MM< btu he's kinda worthless on this with all the smashing/lethal Tyrant does. Also have a Warshade that is very versatile.

  4. 1388 on Das Bones. Missed a lot of event badges cause I made him in like 2007. My warshade Yat Man has all the event badges tho. Shoulda just grabbed them on him but once I started playing my fire rad, the warshade took a back seat....

If you can still get a team together, easiest and safest way is just to have a team with high damaging lore pets/MM's troller pets, set em all to aggressive and let them fight AM while everyone else hangs back, with occasional healing of pets. A rad and kin to debuff AM and buff pets and you can kill him with pets in abotu 4-5 minutes, with no one getting distracted by fighting to avoid green beam. How I always did mine. Good for loves a challenge as well, just make sure pets are controllable and don't destroy terminals.
  7. I don't form a lot of trials lately, but when I do it's usually MO runs for hardest badges and I always say that I do not want incandescence. I've been told that I'm an a$$ when it comes to forming MO trials, and I agree to that assumption. If its the ONLY T3 or T4 destiny you have, then keep it equipped, but don't use it unless told to. And if you spam it I will kick you from my league, 1 star you and possibly global ignore you. And that's for a few reasons. most probably have already been said.

    1) Even if you say yes/no it teleports all pets.

    I have failed regular BAFs on Freedom cause people spam it and we lose pets, and prisoners escape. I have failed MO Lam's cause people spam Incan and pets get sent to the warehouse leaving MM's trollers without them. I've failed MO Keyes because people spam it right into the green beam. I've failed Mo TPN because people tp us and pets from the terms.


    2) Rebirth Radial is a much better buff. +healing and +regen is awesome. I've never seen a time in a trial where Incan would be better than rebirth Radial. The healing received is only good if you are being healed. The stun and the knockback are both pretty minor, and can be accomplished by any troller/dom's stun and the knockback can be done by many toons with a knockback power. The stealth is kinda a waste since on most trials you are constantly fighting so it is a waste. The movement speed bonus I guess would be good if you have a stone tank, but any stone tank worth anything has already mitigated his horrible speed with teleport, and the mvoement speed bonus can also be done by any Kin or Time.


    3) As a teleport power, its useless in trials. It can't TP des in UG trial. people say 'well it tp's people who cna't get over the wall in Slams' or 'it tp's people who can't make it in UG. Well first of all, temp travel powers are allowed in itrials so if you can't afford a jet pack, or if you can't wall jump over (which everyone should be able to since Hurdle is now a gimmie), and if you can't make it through a tunnel without dying, it's your fault for gimping yourself and not preparing for a trial. its no one's responsibility to assist you in getting places.

    4) Its not a team buff. its a self buff. Bar none, the user of Incan benefits from it more than everyone else. I feel this makes the users a lot more selfish that others when it comes to buffs. If you are on an 8 man team and use Incan and all 7 teammates decline, you still get the buff. Granted, you can do that with any destiny and pop it when no one is around but this buff requires others to come to you, disrupting their rhythm for the privilege of being buffed.

    Now I do have a T3 incan made. and it's only for MO task forces. Which I
    think its awesome for. You stealth in and TP your entire team. It means you can eliminate TP powers from your moveset if you are focusing on end game content, and allows you more powers.

    In my opinion the only time Incan is good for trials is when there are teamwipes. But you should never build for the chance that you all die. Thats why I never take rez powers. I will take vengeance, and buff the team before I take a power just to bring one person back to life.

    All in all, its just a disruptive power. It effects everyone with pets, gets their pets killed while running back to them, and when people complain all you get back it 'well just put on prompt.' or 'hurr durr'

    Saturday: Tore up from the floor up

    Lambda Trial: 1 attempt

    Notes: 1 person screwed up the synchronized badge constantly so I said screw it and we accidentally got it before we grabbed all 10 acids and nades. On marauder we got him easily to about 60% without him even moving (tons of -fly/jump) and someone used a grenade, pacified him and he died in 2 seconds....

    BAF Trial: 1 attempt

    Notes: If you can't MO this trial, you shouldn't try...

    Keyes Trial: 2 attempts

    Anti-Anti Matter

    Notes: 1st run AM got killed on 2nd reactor so we restarted. on 2nd run someone destroyed a bunker and ruined Bunker buster. On AM 2 people got caught in first green beam, then died.

    UG Trial: 1 attempt
    Badges earned:
    None.

    Notes: Des got ambushed and brought down to like 40% like halfway thru so that badge was gone. made requirements for preservation speciallist, and Regenerate this, but lack of Clarion (even tho 7 people said they had it) cause league confuse, people got killed by pets, other players and Avatar got Rebirthed/Barrier'd so we failed trial.

    Sunday: Awww Yeah!

    MoM Trial: 1 attempt

    Notes: We steamrolled this trial. I actually don't think I've ever done it that quickly before. Didn't got for Dreamwalker cause everyone can eventually get that one themselves.

    Notes: Another easy trial. almost everyone from MoM was on this one.


    TPN Campus Trial: 1 attempt

    Notes: 24 person league attempt. People were slow on Terms so we didn't get news flash.

    Mag Trial: 2 attempt

    The Hard Way

    Notes: First attempt was for RHW and Triple threat. missed triple threat by about 1 second. On Both attempts, Tyrant stalled at 30%. on 2nd attempt, waited for lores to refresh and we actually did worse, and couldn't break 40%.

    So overall not bad, not great. But a solid effort from almost everyone save those few Pug's/griefers who ruined some badges for us. I thank you all for coming along.
  9. As a FF/Elec and FF/Beam defender, I can tell you bubblers still have a place in this game. That said, I made some tweaks to your build.

    1) Switched otu Mace mastery for Soul mastery. Lost of people LOVE mace mastery on their squishy toons but its wasted on a bubbler. Your defense is already great, so you should focus on resist, because if anything gets thru that defense you are dead. Also, Soul drain is a fantastic power that would be well used on a defender, since you want to increase your damage output. it also contains Power Boost, which will double your defense.

    2) Got rid of a lot of your io sets that contradict your build. You want recharge for HoB but you didn't have LOTG slotted. you wanted that chance for energy damage but it would only be a 20-50 hp difference every 30 seconds. So yeah i replaced it, made that oblit set full, and got you extra 2.5% defense to melee

    3) Gave you a total of nearly 50% possible melee defense, so that when you use soul drain just as effectively as a warshade using stygian circle to buff your damage and accuracy.

    All in all now you are a uberbuffing bubbler, with great recharge, and can survive in melee, buff off your enemies, and dish out damage.

  10. Updated the Magi, Keyes and the UG trial lists

    After thinking about it, these are really the only ones we have to worry about. The others CAN be picked up on PuG's, some harder than others, but as long as clear directions are given, we should have no problems on BAF, LAM, TPN, MoM and DD. So honestly as long as You guys are on it, I'm sure I can get enough competent people to fill in the blanks for these trials. Magi, Keyes and UG are the ones we'll have trouble with

  11. A few things at first glance:
    You've hit past the rule of five with 10% HP
    Health and Stamina haven't been slotted. So I'll assume you just will put a NUmi in Health and an efficacy in Stam.

    Someof your IO sets are frankenslotted with a few lvl 30 IO's when you could have used lvl 50's. are you doing that for when you respec? If not then you could go with lvl 50 IO sets that have the same enhancement properties, but higher values i.e red fortune in scorpion shield instead of karma.
    Also, in Rain of bullets you have 5 Oblits and an eradication proc. why not use the exact same oblit proc (only difference is chance for smashing instead of energy) and get the defense bonuses?

    Didn't have enough time to put everything up for this one but in advance, we're gonna do 2 rounds. first is for really hard way badge.
    MANDATORY prereqs are lvl 53's only. Barrier or Rebirth destiny only. 5 Ultimate inspirations. I'd prefer at least T3 robotic drones lores, but any lore pet that doesn't do smashing/lethal works.

    Daylight Saver - Defeat Mother Mayhem without allowing Aurora Borealis' health to drop below 75%, and then complete the trial.
    Tank, blaster and healer on Aurora at all times. Easy peasy
    Lost Connection to Server - Defeat Shalice Tilman without missing any opportunity to sever her connection to the Seer Network, and then complete the trial.

    Prerequisites. lvl 53. Need at least 3 clarions. Damage and resist debuffs are priority.

  18. Hey all!

    Fall Semester of my graduate program starts Tuesday, and I'm taking 6 classes so my CoH time will be seriously limited. So I figured I'd go out with a bang and do every incarnate trial on my toons that still need badges, with the exception of a few badges. I know this is gonna cut into established CoP/Hami times, but honestly I'm a bit hami'd out and some of these haven't been seriously ran for months, so Im hoping peopel cna understand a slight break in the norm. I'm also breaking it up into 2 days, so those who want to can still do them. Sunday will most likely be TPN and Magi, then make up runs.

    LAMBDA 6:00PM EST
    Badges we are going for:
    Lambda Looter - Complete the Lambda Sector Trial having acquired 10 Pacification Grenades and 10 Molecular Acids during the second phase, but using none of them.
    We will get all 10 acids and grenades. they will all be given to the team leader. None will be used.

    Synchronized - Destroy a Weapons Cache and a Containment Chamber within 2 seconds of each other during the Lambda Sector Incarnate Trial.
    We will get all 10 grenades and acids. We will clear all enemies around the first one with ST attacks or tank pulls, then only 1 person will bring the crate/container down to about 10% health. then we will countdown and everyone will destroy it.

    For this trial there are prerequisites. You WILL be lvl 52 or 53. You WILL do psi damage or have T3 or above Seers as your lore pet. No exceptions.

  19. No one has said Fire/Rad yet? Granted, its a total end hog but you can't deny how well the powers compliment each other. Fire cages to immob all enemies. Radiation Infection and Enervating Field to debuff damage and defense. Fire cages to whittle away their health. Choking cloud to hold minions and Lt's. All the while fire imps are taking out everything around you. I used to farm faster than fire/kins with my fire/rad before I lost my farm map....

    Have to also agree Ill/time is an awesome combo.
  20. pretty late response but I just got my stone to 50 and after tweaking it I've finalized my build. I didn't include a lot of incarnate powers because I always take multiple, but I think Ageless and Clarion work best for this. The only problem I am running into is that I took Conserve power to mitigate end consumption, but I never seem to use it now, but I need it for physical perfection.

    This guy has softcapped resistances to everything but psi. Defenses in the high 40's for damage types and in the 20's for melee/ranged. he's even fairly speedy in granite, moving at about 26 mph. The build doesn't reflect it, but I used enhancement boosters in Swift to make both IO's 50+5.
