Itrial Badgapalooza. Saturday and Sunday, 6PM EST August 25 & 26

Hey all!

Fall Semester of my graduate program starts Tuesday, and I'm taking 6 classes so my CoH time will be seriously limited. So I figured I'd go out with a bang and do every incarnate trial on my toons that still need badges, with the exception of a few badges. I know this is gonna cut into established CoP/Hami times, but honestly I'm a bit hami'd out and some of these haven't been seriously ran for months, so Im hoping peopel cna understand a slight break in the norm. I'm also breaking it up into 2 days, so those who want to can still do them. Sunday will most likely be TPN and Magi, then make up runs.

LAMBDA 6:00PM EST
Badges we are going for:
Lambda Looter - Complete the Lambda Sector Trial having acquired 10 Pacification Grenades and 10 Molecular Acids during the second phase, but using none of them.
We will get all 10 acids and grenades. they will all be given to the team leader. None will be used.

Synchronized - Destroy a Weapons Cache and a Containment Chamber within 2 seconds of each other during the Lambda Sector Incarnate Trial.
We will get all 10 grenades and acids. We will clear all enemies around the first one with ST attacks or tank pulls, then only 1 person will bring the crate/container down to about 10% health. then we will countdown and everyone will destroy it.

For this trial there are prerequisites. You WILL be lvl 52 or 53. You WILL do psi damage or have T3 or above Seers as your lore pet. No exceptions.

BAF: 6:30-6:45 PM EST
Badges going for:
Gotta Keep Em Separated - Defeat Siege & Nightstar without moving them from their initial locations during a Behavioral Adjustment Facility Trial.
Not on My Watch - Allow no Mindwashed Prisoners to escape during a Behavioral Adjustment Facility Trial.
Strong & Pretty - Defeat Siege & Nightstar while none of their reinforcements are alive during a Behavioral Adjustment Facility Trial.

Notes: Most people already have Not on my watch and strong & pretty, but we will go for them anyways. No prerequisites for this one, jsut be as close to 53 as you can.

Keyes Island Reactor Trial: 7:30 EST
Badges we will be going for:
Anti- Anti Matter - Complete the Keyes Island Reactor Trial after having brought Anti-Matter below 10% of his health while attempting to take control of Reactor Hope
Self explanatory
Bunker Buster - During the Keyes Island Reactor Trial, bust down all three doors on a bunker within three seconds, and then repeat for all bunkers near Reactor Infinity
Same as with Lam. 1 person from each team will target a door and bring it down to about 15%. then we will countdown and destroy all of them at once.
Loves a challenge - Complete the Keyes Island Reactor Trial without anyone dying or destroying any terminals during the final battle with Anti-Matter
This and avoids the green stuff will be handled mostly by controllable pets.
Avoids the Green Stuff - Don't let anyone be caught by an Obliteration Beam in the final battle with Anti-Matter during the Keyes Island Reactor Trial

Prerequisites for this trial: lvl 53. T3 Rebirth +Regen destiny. depending on how many people I know and trust join at first, I may make this just a 16 man trial.

Regenerate This - Defeat the Self-Repairing War Walker and Lichen Infested War Walker within 8 minutes of starting the fight
Have tank pull War walkers to the wall. Spank. Twice
Tour Guide - Don't let Desdemona's health go below 50%
Most peopel already have this one
Preservation Specialist - Don't let any of the IDF bombs detonate
Dedicated team of blasters sniping these long range.
Avatar Assassin - Defeat the Avatar of Hamidon at the same time as a Detonating Seedling
Prerequisites. Lvl 53. 6-8 people with clarion T3.

Minds of Mayhem Trial. 9:30 EST
Badges we will be going for:
A perfect storm - Defeat Penelope Mayhem while creating no more than 4 Eyes of the Storm, and then complete the trial.
Tank pulls voids, no Knockback powers used and we pour on the damage.
Daylight Saver - Defeat Mother Mayhem without allowing Aurora Borealis' health to drop below 75%, and then complete the trial.
Tank, blaster and healer on Aurora at all times. Easy peasy
Lost Connection to Server - Defeat Shalice Tilman without missing any opportunity to sever her connection to the Seer Network, and then complete the trial.
self explanatory.
Prerequisites. lvl 53. Need at least 3 clarions. Damage and resist debuffs are priority.

Sunday, August 26th

Dilemma Diabolique Trial 6PM EST
Badges we are going for:
Spinebreaker - Destroy all four Repulsive Spines within one minute of each other during phase 1
Bring them all down to 20%, then kill.
Sentinel Smasher - After rescuing Positron (or Valkyrie), Manticore (or Aurora Borealis), Synapse (or Ms. Liberty), and Back Alley Brawler (or Mynx) during phase 2, defeat the Sentinel of Mot
Everyone follows the leader who goes to each one.
Sacrificial Lamb - Defeat Diabolique without defeating the two heroes under her control during the final battle
ST Damage and controllable pets only for end.
Life and Death - Defeat Diabolique without allowing her to heal from a single Lifegiving Essence during the final battle
Blasters/corruptors with high ST damage taking them out at range.
Prerequisites: lvl 53.

TPN Trial 7PM EST
Badges we are going for:
News Flash - Complete all three 500-point Public Opinion challenges, taking no more than 8 minutes per challenge, and then finish the trial.
designated terminal clickers. everyone else pull mobs away.

TPN Trial 7:30 PM EST
Badges we are going for:
Fair & balanced Do not allow a single Telepathist to convert 4 or more citizens for the duration of TPN Campus, and then finish the trial.

Note: other badges are normally earned on regular runs, so there won't be much emphasis on them.
Prerequisites: just be lvl 53. Will focus on damage and buffs/debuffs to take out terminal mobs, technicians and Mael quickly.

8:30 PM EST: Magisterium Trial
Badges we are going for:
Really Hard Way badge - Defeat Tyrant during the final battle of the Magisterium Trial without destroying any Lights of the Well.

9:30PM EST Magisterium Trial.
Badges we are going for:
Triple Threat - Defeat all three Archvillains during the Battle Royale stage of the Magisterium Trial within 5 seconds of the first one's defeat.
3 teams, each bringing AV's down to 5%. pop ultimates, spank.
10:00PM EST Magisterium Trial
Ready to Rumble - Defeat Black Swan sooner than 8 minutes after entering the Magisterium.
We will pop ultimates and lores as soon as the battle begins. should only take ultimates to take out 250, 3 av's, and black swan.

Didn't have enough time to put everything up for this one but in advance, we're gonna do 2 rounds. first is for really hard way badge.
MANDATORY prereqs are lvl 53's only. Barrier or Rebirth destiny only. 5 Ultimate inspirations. I'd prefer at least T3 robotic drones lores, but any lore pet that doesn't do smashing/lethal works.

So to reiterate: To join this trial I need to know your AT/ Primary/secondary, Leadership powers, Destiny, Lore, Hybrid and # of Ultimate inspirations.

She did 2-3 runs of TRHW helping others on her kin months ago when they were common and missed getting the badges on her main then so she wants to do that now.

Hey Yat -- make sure to put Votress in for the TRHW too.

She's a Staff/Invuln Scrapper.

But, she can make whatever lore, destiny, etc you like and is build to do killer damage and have the debuffs from procs (achilles, etc).

I know this because I built her myself.

My wife put her dues in helping everyone else like Turg get TRHW on their mains she should get a shot too.

Updated the Magi, Keyes and the UG trial lists

After thinking about it, these are really the only ones we have to worry about. The others CAN be picked up on PuG's, some harder than others, but as long as clear directions are given, we should have no problems on BAF, LAM, TPN, MoM and DD. So honestly as long as You guys are on it, I'm sure I can get enough competent people to fill in the blanks for these trials. Magi, Keyes and UG are the ones we'll have trouble with

Also, everyone should be naked. or pantsless. For Solidarity!

OK here is the breakdown of how everything went

Saturday: Tore up from the floor up

Lambda Trial: 1 attempt
Badges earned:
Synchronized

Notes: 1 person screwed up the synchronized badge constantly so I said screw it and we accidentally got it before we grabbed all 10 acids and nades. On marauder we got him easily to about 60% without him even moving (tons of -fly/jump) and someone used a grenade, pacified him and he died in 2 seconds....

BAF Trial: 1 attempt
Badges earned:
Master of BAF

Notes: If you can't MO this trial, you shouldn't try...

Keyes Trial: 2 attempts
Badges earned:
Anti-Anti Matter

Notes: 1st run AM got killed on 2nd reactor so we restarted. on 2nd run someone destroyed a bunker and ruined Bunker buster. On AM 2 people got caught in first green beam, then died.

UG Trial: 1 attempt
Badges earned:
None.

Notes: Des got ambushed and brought down to like 40% like halfway thru so that badge was gone. made requirements for preservation speciallist, and Regenerate this, but lack of Clarion (even tho 7 people said they had it) cause league confuse, people got killed by pets, other players and Avatar got Rebirthed/Barrier'd so we failed trial.

Sunday: Awww Yeah!

MoM Trial: 1 attempt

Notes: We steamrolled this trial. I actually don't think I've ever done it that quickly before. Didn't got for Dreamwalker cause everyone can eventually get that one themselves.

Notes: Another easy trial. almost everyone from MoM was on this one.


TPN Campus Trial: 1 attempt

Notes: 24 person league attempt. People were slow on Terms so we didn't get news flash.

Mag Trial: 2 attempt
Badges earned:
The Hard Way

Notes: First attempt was for RHW and Triple threat. missed triple threat by about 1 second. On Both attempts, Tyrant stalled at 30%. on 2nd attempt, waited for lores to refresh and we actually did worse, and couldn't break 40%.

So overall not bad, not great. But a solid effort from almost everyone save those few Pug's/griefers who ruined some badges for us. I thank you all for coming along.
