The more I look at the Incarnate stuff, the less I'm thrilled about it.
I don't even like crafting to start with, and I feel this part of the game (level 50 content) is getting too complicated for my lil' ol' head.
I'll stick with the pre-50 stuff in this game, thankyewverymuch - there's more than enough content to make me happy. -

I'm looking for a new desktop PC to replace the one I'm using at the moment - it can play CoH, but on the lowest settings.
My new PC would be used for: CoH, hopefully with some or all of Ultra Mode enabled, and for general computing (Open Office, internet, mp3 playing, Freecell, etc.).
I'm also a Linux fan, so I expect to set it up as a dual-boot machine as well.
That said...
Father Xmas's guide to picking computer components is a great guide, especially if you're able to build your own PC, but hardware and me usually don't mix too well (I'm all thumbs, 11 of them...), so...
Comparing what's available at Newegg.ca and TigerDirect.ca (I'm Canadian, hence the .ca suffix...) with FX's wishlists (*), I found this one:

(*) EDIT: At first, I wrote that I compared with FX's "low end" system, but actually, this system has the Intel Core i5-760 from the "high end" list and, from what I've read on Anandtech and others, the GeForce GTX 460 is about the equivalent to the Radeon HD 6870 of the "high end" list as well... -

Not to be glib, but how is this possible?
Only in some specifics situations (some AVs came to mind...) do you need a specific type of power in order to get thru a specific combat, but even that can be argued against.
All-the-same-AT teams play differently depending on the AT:
I've been on an All-Tanker team, and the tactics was rougly "they can't hurt us much, so we get in their face and hit them until they fall",
An All-Mastermind team will be more "Let's overwhelm them by sheer strength of numbers !".
An All-Defender team: "We'll debuff them so much we'll only have to hit them with a feather for them to drop".

(I saw this thread, but I was not quite sure what to make of the answers given, so instead of Ressurecting the Dead, I decided to make a new thread)
I'm planning to re-arrange the layout of my SG's base and I have a few questions...
1) What is the minimum room size required for the Turbine Generator ? Will it fit in the 3x3 Energy Station ? Or should I plan for the 2x4 Energy Terminal ?
2) Just for future reference, what is the minimum room size required for the Longbow Chaser ? Would it fit in a 2x2 room ?

The 45 days auto-demotion only affects the "Leader" (Hero-side) or "Overlord" (Villain-side) rank - which is the highest rank. All other ranks are unaffected.
If the "Leader/Overlord" is demoted, then the character belonging to the super group who was most recently logged in will automatically be assigned the rank of "Leader/Overlord", which can be a problem if it's not someone who you trust: the SG will not "disappear" as much as you'll have a tough time to getting back the keys to the front door... -
