Happy Birthday dude!

Yep I'm proud to be a part of the Envisionaries, but I've got the toons I've been playing for 3 years than unfortunately aren't on that server

My heroes are generally on Justice, and my villains are on Liberty.

And to clarify, I've got a regen scrapper and a fire brute that I could solo with, but I think it's a little absurd that I'm restricted to play my solo characters. Especially, in an MMO.

Maybe I've just hit a string of bad luck, but it's getting incredibly frustrating.

Ok, so the last 4 times I've logged on I've found it IMPOSSIBLE to find a team. What is the deal? Are there so few people playing the game now or what?! I flag myself as looking for missions, tell broadcasts, IM's. I waste half an hour trying to team with anyone, for nothing.

Several of my characters were designed to be support characters, whether it's my defender who is nothing but support, or my ice tank that is an agro god, but doesn't do much damage.

I know, my fault for designing characters as team support, but then again...with an MMO I just assumed there would be other people to play with.

And this 'team void' seems to span at least the levels from 18 to 44.

What am I supposed to do? Am I forced to respec my characters to a solo character just to play the game?

Took the whole fam out David. My 4 year old picked up Transformers, my 6 year old picked up Sonic, my wife picked up the Wizard "How to draw" magazine for me...I mean for my 6 year old, and I grabbed, the Hulk Ironman of course

My 6 year old had her comic read before we got home

I finished up Dark Lilac's prize for being the 1,000th viewer on my DA site. She was SUPER COOL and let me 'surprise' her as to who and what I was going to draw.

I chose her empath/dark defender Kara Nova. I hope you like.

Yeah me too. During the planning phase I decided to tell "this much" of the story rather than trying to clutter up every page and cram everything in. I didn't mind the last two pages being the busiest, to help convey visually the confusion the team was going through.

It's too bad, cause the continuation of the story has 8Baller captured, then he tries to win Jaden back over to the 'good side', Freedom Faction begins to learn what Arachnos was in Atlas for in the first place and 8Brawler...well...we would have seen why 8Baller and 8Brawler are forever arch rivals.

Oh well . Possibly another day.

I'm VERY glad the CoH creators understood from the beginning the importance of unique costume creation for a superhero franchise. It's amazing with this many people playing, that you never reallly bump into another "you" in the game.

Full marks for Cryptic for putting the costume creator so high on the priority list.

p.s. ya know what's funny, at least for me, is that usually the first costume I make is the one I mainly use for most of that characters life...at least until I get to 30 and aura's kick in.

LOL nice. Shouldn't worry too much, the players don't ever carry the ring. They interact with the main characters, but aren't really a part of "the quest".

And one GREAT thing they did with the name generator is they completely don't allow l33t names. No numbers, or symbols allowed in the names. Biggest thing I'm worried about is since they're allowing pre-orders to carry names over from beta is that all the decent names will already be gone. When I got on recently, after trying several names I thought no one would have I ended up with "Nonamesleft" as my character name.

As far as the spinning in the grave...yeah maybe a little

Actually they've done a number of new things. They've incorporated a pretty cool "doom" mood feature when things get pretty intense in your surroundings. Monster play is a nice take on PVP that you won't find in WoW or EQ. They've got a more indepth 'badge/title' system than most that even effects gameplay. It's similar to CoH accolades, there's just a ton more. And there's been rumors of other things like player blogs etc. We'll just have to see what it launches with and what's still to come.

Of course there are a lot of the common elements in there, but at least they are trying to push a little bit.

I wouldn't be too worried about their success, they've already got a HUGE fan following before they even launch the thing. All they have to make sure is that it's not broken. And from what I've seen it's not.

I'm not saying WoW has to worry, but it will make a dent in that market. It's a solid, well done game.
