I've got nothin to plug here, I just wanted to say it's odd (but great) that Friday the 13th seemed to be a big art day here.

We got the amazing Roxstar Live piece from Graver. (Ok technically posted on late on the 12th, but hey).

This Monsterous Set by Mr. Shuler.

And even a TA double header

Who says Friday the 13th is cursed

I'll just stick to my stories.... At least I know I got talent there. and no, no pity party, just aspiration and wanting to be better visually, but knowing that I won't have the ability to do high end art due to personal limitations.

oh well, you win some, you lose some.... life goes on.

Yeahhhhhh-no. Practice. PM DJ questions. Read the tutorial he put out. Don't just give up and say "I can't do it". I'm sorry, but that's stupid. You have a talent, you just need experience and practice.

Derek, I'm just thinking that I'll do my stuff but more personal. Kinda like a few here or there for some that I can do, but that I won't do it professionally. I mean, I won't try to set up commishes. Granted, I got an eye and many artists on DA have graciously thanked me for providing detailed analysis of their works in a constructive manor. I just have a physical limitation that is holding me back. Sometimes the strain gets to me and I need a break. but when I do that, I lose track of my artistic flow and it hard to get back into it on a single piece. I guess that's why I sometimes feel I rush my works. I hope everyone understands. Not giving up, totally. just get frustrated at times.

I can understand that. You have to take a break once in a while. That's why you have a que, for commissions. You only take a certain amount of people at a time. That way you can take breaks, and don't get overloaded with work. At least, that's how I see it. I've never done commissions, but I prob'ly will in the future.

Lol. I've been called worse.

You're not the first or last to mistake me for this true master of hero art. It's good to set lofty goals, but becoming Graver may be setting the bar a bit too high

Thanks for the kind words on my Roxstar Live piece. Being done with my second hero painting, I may soon be asking seasoned veterans like yourself for commission advice.
