Shouldn't be a problem, yours will have an extra 'U' and Z's will be replaced by S's.

I'm looking forward to playing with Soumbie Man.

Great. So now we're planning stuff around "must have" powers? Or even "Strongly suggested" powers? Really guys?

Remember the "Casual" theme? Or is someone drinking the "pity slot" nonsense?
Watch the video of the panel. The reporter made quite a few errors. The video makes it clear there is an optional role for a stealther, not one is needed.
  3. Not wanting to be cheeky, but when they moved all severs to Austin... kinda saw this coming. Some things telegraph the next step.

  4. Praetorians:

I like the long arc using Praetorians. It tells a story. Just like the 1-50 Hero content used mostly CoT and Nemesis. And the 1-50 Villain Content used Recluse and Arachnos. And then they grafted a 30-50 story with Rikti and Ouroboros.

If each Issue introduced a brand new villain faction and complete story, I'm sure folks would be people screaming about the very lack of an arc and loudly sighing about the villain of the week/issue.

At the same time Praetorians were introduced, the Incarnate System (End Game) mechanics were being introduced. So, they get intertwined. You know, we could have had them separated when the Alpha Slot was going to be a sneak peek without any story content attached to it... but I remember some folks whining loudly that the Incarnate System better have story-content attached to it!

They got what they asked for.

It makes NO sense whatsoever! They have Rikti invading.. Why not Praetorian raids? Update the game world to follow the new story line please! I doubt many will complain!
    A municipal wizard did it!

More than agreed. We had a whole Issue devoted to civilian garb... which was in addition to the civilian clothes we already had.

That is the Korean City of Hero jetpack repurposed for the one month mini-booster jetpack. http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/LKT-1700_Rocket_Pack

Q: Are the new incarnate powers going to be customizable, and will we get customizable epic pools?
    12:44
Nate: We're always trying to expand the power customization options, and a lot of the problems there are in the UI. We are looking to do that though.
Ummm... The Incarnate 'pools' *are* customizable. Anyone who went on Beta during the Sneak Peek and Limited Open Beta knows that. The UI is there... we're waiting on the animations being re-done to be customizable.

That's the invisible hand of the free market inhibiting murder. We don't need Big Government getting involved with laws and stuff.
  10. The three wolves and moon shirt is some sort of mystical aphrodisiac. When I first wore it, not only was I constantly being hit on by strangers on the street, but, inanimate objects started to get frisky with me. I was startled at first, "Is that... *mailbox* whistling at me?" Then I noticed various bits of discarded paper flying and sticking to me, but they were traveling *against* the wind! "Was that brick always there? Next to me? In my bed?"

  12. The ability to customize Necro blasts was in the game from the beginning of customization. Sorry you missed it.

In general, if the blast matches what the MM can do, it can be customized since you're colorizing your blast... which the pets use.

Same with Demon Summoning. If you colorize the Hellfire attacks, the Demons will use the newly colored Hellfire attacks... along with their uncustomizable fire and cold attacks. <sigh>

Q: What was the impetus behind stopping the City of Heroes comic?

Miller - it was purely financial. We wanted to put that money into the game itself. What I love about it though is that I have writers on the team now that were fans of the comic and want to bring in old details from the comic into the game.

Having a kickass comic book artist on staff, we are always working on using his talent and bringing that in. We have something cooking but I can't really talk about it.

Not to mention that the usual right-wing critique of progressive politics is that they're big government that legislates every thing. The role of the White House they say is to use it not to legislate but as a 'bully pulpit.'

Then, when the White House does use it as a bully pulpit, with the First Lady's healthy eating initiatives, for example, they get criticized for being PC bullies.

I'm fairly sure this is an NCSoft-mandated change specifically to force everyone to use the launcher.

Even if they do remove the -PROJECT switches, the NCSoftUpdater program HAS to call CityOfHeroes.exe somehow and tell it that it how to load. Odds are they will just change the switches and someone good with a process monitor or decompiler would be able to fairly easily figure out the new switches.
The first time the update server croaks without there actually being a new patch will see some Dev give out the secret tag word to bypass the updater so they can get into the game.

From there, the word will spread.
  17. Ummm.... it's "Super Sidekicked." That covers all your bases.
  18. The +Regen (+25%) is better than a Health IO in Health (which is about a +17% increase in Regen). However, if you have a Numina +Rech/+Reg already in Health, the Numina Health IO in a addition to the set bonus for having 2 of that set would be about a +28% increase in Regen. So, in Health, a second Numina (Health) > Reg.Tissue+Regen.

Other than that, the +25% Regen is your best source of +Regen. Now it's a question of whether you want that +Regen.

    3 is a small number.

33 is a much bigger number.

CC has 33% more sugar than other sweetened cereals.

It's more of a cerealized candy.

Unlike Apex and Tin Mage, you don't need an Alpha Unlocked toon to run them. In fact, running the two new Incarnate Trials (Behavioral Adjustment Facility (BAF) and Lambda) will start to unlock the Alpha Slot.

Is this perhaps a Batmanized version of Ulysses (the James Joyce novel)?
