I've got an RPVP event in the works. Won't be for a couple weeks yet

This game doesn't have 100,000 subscribers.

FAP had a DC in the second match?

Quote:No it's not. It's hard to find story arcs when the interface is loaded with abandoned farms.
Quote:It's hard to create NPCs and enemy groups when the Devs have to keep re-working things to prevent gross powerleveling.
Quote:Every anti-exploit measure made makes it harder and harder to make mechanically well balanced content.

Secondly, see above. -

Just did DIY: Casino Project (@Twoflower #404549)
Was a lot of fun! Despite being five missions I didn't get mission fatigue because each one led onto the next so well. I wasn't a big fan of the contact though. The idea behind these DIY arcs is that your character is taking charge. Goldie Digger (the contact) had a habit of ordering the character around somewhat.
Still...fantastic arc! -
Quote:Why ban tanks and brutes then?WRONG! The point of me coming to this forum was to hopefully spark a bit of interest in PVP.
Walking into a PVP zone for the first time and having HD and TS on while being spammed with spirit sharks and CS can be discouraging especially when you can't fight back. So, I decided to start doing arena events set to level 31 every other night.
And to those criticizing the "low level PVP" thing, the nature of PVP is that people are going to bring level 50s so I encouraged anyone else who would be participating to bring level 50s. Though we did have some level 30ish toons onboard who did really well.
Long story short everyone involved had a blast and stayed for a few rounds.
This isn't serious PVP. It is is easy going PVP in a controlled environment where everyone can and will get kills. Simple as that.
Excuse me for trying to spark some interest in PVP. -
Banning four archetypes isn't newbie friendly.
You just want an event with lots of killable targets for you & your buddies. -
There's a reason none of you are MMORPG developers.
-
-
This is more like it. Legit banter for the fourth spot. We can't let WARE/Exile and WARE/Shenanigans dominate the forum pvp too!
-
We're playing them. If you want to ban us or whatever go right ahead.
-
Looking forward to this very much. I remember you folk from back in the 2004 days. Since I came back to the game I haven't had a chance to meet up with you and play catch up. Is Vagabond Mage still a member?

So lemme get this straight.
1. The little dogs (FAP) whimper at the Kat but don't get anything.
2. *Two weeks pass*
3. The big dogs (HB) bark loud and scare the Kat into putting a draft together.
4. The little dogs whimpers again and asks to be #1 due to some beta male mentality ish.
Weak.
Honey Badgers. Carrying shy people circa 2011. -
The devs intentionally made spirit sharks available at level 35. This means that any content 35 and above grants access to sharks. Siren's Call falls into this category.
Anyone saying that the devs didn't intend for this clearly don't understand what the words "game" and "changes" mean when used in unison. -
I'm level 35 right now but would be happy to give it a whirl
Just ran: DIY: Laser Moonbase Project (#1931 - @Twoflower) Was awesome. Very supervillainy. I loved everything about it. The contact, the enemies, etc. It also used a lot of standard enemies rather than custom ones. I liked that. Fifth Column especially. -
"Massively Multiplayer" just means there's a lot of people playing. It has nothing to do with teaming.

Quote:Captured some of my reasons perfectly there.Since I showed up on the steps of Atlas two years ago, Paragon City has become a valuable piece of my life. I'm a VIP not only because this the biggest, most interactive comic book universe ever created, but more importantly because of my own substantial creative investment. My roster of characters includes characters I created on paper 25 years ago, and all my characters have their own evolving stories, many of them intertwined, told through role-play, Mission Architect and many other means. I'm not much of a gamer outside City of Heroes, but I've always loved to create fantastic stories, and I've put a lot creative energy into this game. So when I'm playing, I'm not just playing City of Heroes, I'm also playing in a shared universe that is partly of my own creation.
It would be hard to leave all of that behind, but nothing lasts forever. A handful of my characters could still exist without City of Heroes, in some way or another--after all, they existed before City of Heroes. But most of my characters were born on Primal Earth. Their stories are etched into the fabric of that place. Most of them will succumb to whatever fate befalls the City of Heroes universe. But I will be there, watching.
Which server do you play on? -
Love all the anti-AE farmers supporting this.

"Go to last post" images not loading either.
Dunno what's going on. On the off-chance it's hackers...change your passwords.
