Any Arcs that would suit a Dr. Doom/Evil genius protagonist?

Basically I'm looking to play through a bunch of AE storyarcs on an evil genius/megalomaniac/mastermind type character.

I wondered if anyone here had any / knew of any storyarcs that would suit a character like that?

I know there's a couple of "Do it yourself ___" arcs. I'll be checking those out. Anything else people could recommend?

Unfortunately there aren't too many villainous story arcs to begin with, and most of them are 'safe' arcs with the player working for some villain group ('safe' meaning they'd fit any villain's character concept).

The only ones I know of that fit your criteria are Twoflower's DIY arcs, as you mentioned -- though I remember playing 'Quid pro Quo' (82369) and 'Until the End of the World' (431270) being about 'proactive villainy', ie. your character doing stuff on their own instead of being asked/ordered to. I also remember the 'Bravuran Jobs' (5073) story arc having a Latveria theme, but it's - again - the player working for the bad guys instead of being proactive.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help,

I'd offer up my arc Day Job Hell (see sig) as a villain-starter arc, but it has once again become broken thanks to all the juggling going on behind the scenes. I do plan on fixing it soon, but if you want something lowbie (1-10 iirc), let me know and I'll hop right on it.

I'm level 35 right now but would be happy to give it a whirl

Just ran: DIY: Laser Moonbase Project (#1931 - @Twoflower) Was awesome. Very supervillainy. I loved everything about it. The contact, the enemies, etc. It also used a lot of standard enemies rather than custom ones. I liked that. Fifth Column especially.

Just did DIY: Casino Project (@Twoflower #404549)

Was a lot of fun! Despite being five missions I didn't get mission fatigue because each one led onto the next so well. I wasn't a big fan of the contact though. The idea behind these DIY arcs is that your character is taking charge. Goldie Digger (the contact) had a habit of ordering the character around somewhat.

Still...fantastic arc!
