A FLYER has been found posted on light posts, trees, building walls, and business bulletin boards throughout Paragon City.

An accompanying card, black with silver and gold finely printed text, is found in a holder close to the Flyer. Heroes also may have received the card in the mail. The text of the card is below.

Quote:
Heroes of Paragon City,

What do an oil tanker in Talos Island, the underbelly of Brickstown, a country bridge in Croatoa, a wooded clearing in Perez Park, a small glade by a stream in Galaxy City, a city park in Skyway and a floating construct in Ouroboros all have in common? They have all played host to The Dauntless Reverie's yearly annual celebration of the Autumnal Season of Masks. With great pride, I present...

The 8th Annual ECHO!

So please, join us at the Dauntless Reverie’s 8th Annual ECHO as we celebrate the Autumnal Season of Masks, and masquerade as your "echo" or "opposite" – a reinterpretation or antithesis of yourself. There will be contests and prizes, good music and coverage of the party graciously provided by The Cape Radio and DJ Vangelus, dancing of course, good fellowship and fun.

Festivities will commence at 3 o'clock in the afternoon EST, Sunday, the sixth day of November. Please RSVP to Nyght-shade by email on your Paragon PDA.

The location will be released on the day of the event. Watch your mail-boxes or this location for more information.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Warmest regards,

Fen Monique, otherwise known as Nyght-shade

Looking forward to this very much. I remember you folk from back in the 2004 days. Since I came back to the game I haven't had a chance to meet up with you and play catch up. Is Vagabond Mage still a member?

The Vagabond Mage is still a member, but has been away from the game for a little while. Lyte Thorson and the Elysienne are still about and will be there tomorow, as well. Glad to have you back in-game, and look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

We'll post the location here in this thread in a few hours.

The Dauntless Reverie’s 8th Annual ECHO will be held today, Sunday Nov. 6th, by the Church in the Mercyview Cemetery, Praetoria’s mystical First Ward, starting at 12 Noon Pacific / 3PM Eastern.

Minimum level is 20, and the zone is accessible by heroes and villains alike. Once inside the First Ward, if you need a teleport to the site of the event, send a tell to: @Rhianwen; @LyteInVirtue; or @Elysienne.

Hero Access can be found via Mistress Eva in Talos (marked Underground Imperial) behind the Talos Arena. The portal there will take you to the Praetorian Underground, and the door across the way (by the Doorman) takes you to the NorthEast corner of the First Ward. The Mercyview Church and Cemetery can be found by traveling South down the East side of the First Ward zone, following the outer edge of the city walls.

Villain access is found via Carter Mordeson in the Southeaster Tip of Cap au Diable (marked Underground Imperial) on the Cap map. The portal there takes you to the Praetorian Underground, where the door across the way (by the Doorman) takes you to the Northeast corner of the First Ward. The Mercyview Church and Cemetary can be found by traveling South down the East side of the First Ward zone, following the outer edge of the city walls.

And after we're done at Echo, we can go and party at the Pocket D with Smersh and the rest of Section 8!

The Elysienne; Magical controller
Silent Sickle; Natural scrapper
And many more.
Aenigma Rebis: "Actually, Ely's more like Jean Grey. Only... smart."

This year's ECHO was a lot of fun, with new faces and old friends, lively competitions, music and dancing, RP RP RP, and a run on the Seed of Hamidon to wrap things up!

First Ward's Mercyview Church and surroundings made for a great location.

We held a trivia contest with many winners, the Dauntless Reverie Story Competition, wherein contestants sought out the far-flung Dauntless members who each held a portion of a story, collected the various parts, placed them in the right order and then presented the finished story (in the right order) to Nyght-shade. Winners for the competition were: Devilyn Side, and Miscreation.

Winners for the ECHO Costume judging were:
Best Male ECHO Costume: Miscreation
Best Female ECHO Costume: Devilyn Side.

Miscreation & Devilyn Side in their regular costumes (the two on the left side):

And in their ECHO costumes:

For those who couldn't make it, I've posted some of my ECHO screenshots on Flickr, with public access.

If anyone else got good shots, please post the pics of links to them here.

And a Huge Thank You to all those who helped run competitions today, and helped give a warm welcome to our Virtue guests: Lyte Thorsen, the Elysienne, Dr. Solitude and Indigo Shadow, Velvet Soul, and Homerunner, and Vangelus, who DJ'ed the Cape Radio coverage.
