Happy with WP/SS Tanker.
Now I just need to get over the fact the wolf head sits way, way too far down the neck...and I can't make the char female because I simply cannot get past how hideous the wolf form looked thanks to the wacky digitgrade legs sigh...

In terms of the concept missteps, I agree with Arcanna (I think). Basically what I feel like the game is telling me is "Look how powerful the well is!" rather than "The well is a tool that has awakened some power within you." It's a subtle distinction, but for a game as traditionally open as this one, it feels ram-rodded. Basically the equivalent of a person sitting in Pocket D with a bio that says "No matter how you imagined yourself, I am actually the one who architected every aspect of your power, and for that matter every one else's." Yeah, I don't know why I didn't think WP/SS sooner. Possibly because I already have an SS/WP Brute.
So...I guess that solved that one fairly fast, heh. Now to sort out the Uniform, and sorted.

Yeah...how to make that one work?
I can't think of anything. I don't want to use claws (way too done, no good models), don't really want to use weapons...I'm in a bit of a pickle.
The one thought I did have was making a Fire/ scrapper, but then I have no idea what I'd pair it with. And a werewolf breathing fire? Ehhhh...pass.
Any help and suggestions much appreciated! -

If it's all about story line that makes them who they are... then additional storylines can be created to give them the reason to do something else....

OT; I still can't figure out why the Devs don't simply use multiple targetting boxes for giant entities. In the same way that Lusca's main body can't be killed (irrc) before the tentacles go down, that can just as easily work for the Giant Robot. Two legs, two arms, torso and head. Destroy the arms and it loses main weapons, but starts firing missiles from it's torso and lasers from it's head. Destroy one leg it gets a 50% speed penalty and loses any stomp attack it had, destroy the other and it's immobile. Destroy the torso to stop the missile barrage and make the head vulnerable. Finish off for coup de grace.
Unless theres some major tech hurdles in the way there (there may well be) I see no reason that it couldn't work. -

Delay the Lore Slot itself? Hells to the god damn yes. I hate railroading and stuff being forced down the throat like that. Saying "Well just don't take it then, gawd!" is also a damn stupid idea. Why should concept be brutalised just for number output in a game that, for so long, has avoided that very pitfall? -

Really, what Kheldarn said. I'd heard all the doom and hate on the other forums, and was prepared for the worst.
I just finished installing and setting up. It was utterly painless. And it updated test in half the time it would normally take.

I think being locked with Praet pets is the only thing I would fault. It does smack of the same lack of vision that was shown with the Patron Pools (or simple lack of viable tech for it)
