I don't team much but I dug through my screenshots and eventually found one of me in a team. The "Title" within the properties of the image (per "PRTSC" pressed during the game, dumped to City of Heroes/screenshots directory) held my team member names, including my own. Nothing happens if you're solo. No idea if it changed recently, my picture was several months old.

Great styling with your jester. Really looks like a comic character.

I had earlier thought (before I also got caught in one of those surf-happy tangents) that the scenes had no context or consequence. But your "not yet" gives it some consequence. Perhaps something in the backgrounds will indicate what they're fighting over, or whether they're ignoring/protecting innocents in the background, and what might be the collateral damage of the BOOM.
Since backgrounds often come last, perhaps just a few words (even dialogue) to indicate the reason for the match-up. Then expressions, behaviour can be tweaked to match. -
Happy Birthday-plus-two-weeks MS!
Wish I had a custom graphic for you that might explain my tardiness. -
Quote:Ironic?1 word, 3 syllables, starts with an i, and ends with a c. Take a guess, not many words fit.

ITALIC!! Yeah, this thread is totally italic. -
Heart the Cart of Art! These are awesome.
I bet you've got a lot of stalkers now. Looking forward to more supersized heads. -
1. Frost
2. Juggy
3. Pyro
For the Rikti/Russian/Shadow Puppet alternatives.
This was a good theme, good to give it two months too. Turned out pretty hard to capture a CoH that is wrong, but clearly not by accident. -
Yay! So now I can see screenshots and video of my fan art! ...Wait. What changed?
Forumites will hopefully maintain clear titles on threads, so I can focus on whichever kind of graphic I'm in the mood for. Sometimes that is screen shots. We've had some good screenshot threads in the fanart forum before. I was not even aware a screenie forum existed, but awareness is not my forte. -
I think you mean 'heroine'. 'Heroin' is different - mood swings all over the place, and withdrawal is a bitcz. Okay, so mostly the same then. But add an 'e' for estrogen. [/misogyny-with-apologies]
These pictures have great composition! Keep it up, you're heading in a great direction. -
Escape from the Death Star! Click on picture to see the big version.
Janet Planet got a bit excited. Airhead noted it was a bit premature. But mostly he was just glad it wasn't him this time.
Raddar captured this scene perfectly. The expressions, the poses... even the direction they're swinging (along the chasm) suggests they've lost the plot a bit. Oh noes! How will they get out of this one? The expressions and the boots are phenomenal. Then the hair, the textures, the background... Thanks Raddar for realising this scene with far more sophistication than I'd imagined. And thanks to Attache for the opportunity to tag-team. With these two, who needs stormtroopers? -
Ahh, Blender! Only, it doesn't look Blender-y any more, those pictures are really well finished. I used to use Blender ten years ago, it is a cool program. I loved the way you can bump-map textures onto planes, like I suspect you've done with your very cool Kevlar. I should go see how Blender looks today too.

Thanks Rodoan, your comment has been an inspiration to a new wave of Airhead commissions.
Thanks CR and Attache. The ES-Sanchez bust is becoming one of my favorites.
Here's a couple of new additions over on my DeviantArt page. First up, a new cover by Jet Amago!
Jet poured in lots of stuff from numerous reference shots I sent him of a troll rave to get this looking so fantastic. Who needs Superadine when you have Airhead?
And then Airhead with a lightsaber! It's already been shown in Measley's thread, but I like it so much I had to put it in this thread too. I tried to tweak the lightsaber to give it more brown glow. Airhead's power even affects light saber crystals. It became a lesson on why things don't usually have a "brown glow".
Thanks to Jet and Measley! -
That's a great scene. Definitely badgeworthy. "Kobayashi Maru: Your name is Kobayashi Maru. You broke the GM. Prepare to die."
Sorry I don't have a suitable badge icon. -
Ohh my. That is some spectacular lighting. And perfect lines, such a pretty face.
And the... displacement. It seems logical that her heel and tail are high in the air. -
Nice Fenian model sheet! Should be great coloured too. I always liked the utter unpredictability of your Fenian outfits, but I can imagine that can go two ways too easily.
Somebody's got a frowny-face. Er, no wait, I meant to say: are you using a Shivan-stick? -
A truly cute cat! Wearing the original leo-tard. Great expression and colour choices too.
I'd love to see this Amerikatt adventuring with the Li'l Airhead (by Wassy), trawling Paragon City's heroes with a scratching post and a security blanket. Hopefully their true forms will be possible in Going Rogue. -
Woohoo! Thanks Measley!
After seeing your Kai I knew I had to have an Airhead with a lightsaber. Probably not a wise move. But in the Star Wars world, they can rebuild his finger.
The saber colour is deliberate. I read somewhere on the internet once that a brown lightsaber would be ridiculous. I still had to know.
Measley is a nice guy too, hopefully plenty more CoHarts to come. -
That's a great picture, and the background gradient is perfect.
Not sure if my graphics card could handle that bubblegum inferno, but the moment the screen seizes up will still look spectacular. -
The character is dang cute, and I love how the skyscrapers are pullin' for her

What if... children did exist in CoH? And not just in the odd obscure arc and a New Year baby. Lots of children. Playgrounds. Rikti children. Adoptable orphan Proteans.
This world requires a mechanism to prevent scenes of child abuse. Having them grow up quickly when under attack might send the wrong message. Perhaps just give them orbital laser support. -

I have just two magical toons, and one of them is a young 8' tall boy (perhaps not ideally suited to being a seer). The other one is Czu, on Virtue. He may still be nothing like what you're looking for.
Czu is a bit of a what-if himself. What if Pha Xiong and Tub Ci never made it to Paragon City. Instead, Devouring Earth overran their homeland in Laos, and they barely escaped with their lives. They kept running until they reached Siberia, and then they went underground. To give themselves a chance, Pha Xiong trained Russians in the arts of magical tattoos. And so were born... The Czu. Yeah, a silly Tsar/Czar thing. The new diet and lifestyle has affected their physique.
Czu uses demon summoning (to make up for lack of numbers) and forcefield (pretty bubbles). An example of Czu in combat (costume slightly different):

Here's my mock votes, since I put them in the wrong thread previously.
There were a few that were ridiculously good and sophisticated execution: #33, #36, #64, #65. With 64 being my most favorite.
Trying to make another choice comes down to mood - #12 for uniqueness, or #18 for the superior merlion, or #30 for style, or #44 for sense of awe, etc. -
Mesmerizing piece. The earrings are so cute!
The space between her eyebrows suggests her head is turned ever so slightly, yet her mouth seems side-on. Well, with the shadow under her nose it's hard to say, but perhaps her chin seems side-on. Still stunning! -
Yummy. I like the softer features, less angry, more cat-like. She looks a bit younger but not too young. Big eyes do that anyway.
Wow, nice background! Anyone else manage to look at that?
