I suddenly thought of this while trying (and failing) to track down a piece of organ music with Brass acompniment in a minor key... something a bit like Bach, but that would work for Nemesis. Something grandeous, OTT and Imperious.
So, what would the Sig Heroes and Villains listen to? What would your characters listen to? Do they have theme songs?
Statesman: Despite the shell (and bad writing) I kinda pin him down as someone who'd listen to fairly old music. The stuff he knew back in the day.
Especially this.
Recluse: Really, I can't find anything that fits Recluse as well as this piece by Ominous Voice. It just...it's Recluse. All over. I freaking LOVE this piece.
Uhm...And yeah, then I hit a road block. I know what Nemesis' music should sound like, but I can't find any that match it.
I'd need Ominous Voice to tell me what software he uses so I could make some, heh.
For my own chars, well....I seem to have come up short there too, actuall
I was pretty sure I knew, but now it seems I have to go back and do a double check XD
What about other folks? Signature or personal chars? -
What Coin said, frankly.

Thanks for the help guys
Love how Cashoo did Alpha, he looks suitably badass.

There is no past, no future, no end.
There is only Alpha, eternal and everlasting.
You may now bow, fleshlings. -
I think Zwil just won the internet

What Sam said. Same as Timebomb; just make it suck less.

Quote:This is the point, however. Say that the four year vet was an EU player. They get automatically shafted, no matter any other factors. Not necessarily true. Someone who played for four years and has been gone one for whatever reason (military, school, etc.) has certainly paid more than the person who's been in just long enough to see their first shny vet reward.
The point I'm trying to make is that the way things were done was haphazard, shoddy and, frankly, unjust. Having a slightly more organised system that can pick more fairly would be far, far better. -

Ahh, here's the thread!
Pic of Alpha I commissioned of Cash. Bwuahahaha I has a pretty!

I don't know how to make it smaller or the white see through, though
Edit; replaced with a smaller version, thanks Stream

Once I've finished re-writing my Steam Scientist then I'll have someone interview worthy and such.
B would just be so much whale sound unfortunately XD -
Quote:lolLrn2Buff1) Change /Empathy's Clear Mind into a PBAoE, Clarion style. Duration and recharge adjusted as need be.
- Reason: Keeping a whole team Clear Minded raises the caster's blood pressure beyond acceptable health standards.
No. Seriously, no. As someone running an Empath on freaking ITrials, if people are honestly finding that too 'strenous'...they should have picked a different freaking set or AT.
I don't want to be draining myself for silly ammounts of end. I don't want to have to herd team mates just so they can get their mez shield which makes my life easier as well as theirs. This way, I can pick those who need it NOW, like the squishies, and cast exactly as many times as I need.
This is as bad an idea as the one where MM pets get AoE buffed (insane end cost, doesn't scale for when you only need to buff the two that died mid fight, idiot idea...) -

Quote:...yes? Given the Tsoo Sorcerors already have no tops on except tatoos and a belt-down robe thing...It doesn't look too bad on them because CoT mages and Tsoo Sorcerers have robes instead of legs. In order for it to look "not too bad, not 100% perfect", the full robes would have to be a leg option for players, not a chest, pants, or belt option.

Anyone taking long breaks knows (or should know) that that is simply part and parcel. Heck, theres nothing to stop people from still subscribing and keeping all those juicy vet awards.
But why should an inactive, unpaid for account, trump that of someone who has never once let their sub lapse? How is that, in any way, shape or form, 'right'? -
Quote:If they think of a cool name, it's taken, and they can't think of an alternative, then they are not trying hard enough. As much as I like playing the name-real estate mini-game in City of Heroes, I hope it's open names tied to hidden global names. I never thought I'd say that but STO really changed my mind. I think the anxiety of finding a "cool name" really changes how invested new players get.

Nemesis would be organ music. Imperialistic, 'You are worthy only of my contempt' music. Music that says 'Be grateful that you are worthy of being subject to my machinations, the likes of which are beyond your meagre comprehension!'
Nemesis would be organ music...and brass.

EBs, AVs, Monsters, Giant Monsters.
Know one thing they've all got in common?
They are utter pansies! Oh no, one lone MM on Monster Island! RUN AWAY!
Seriously. I was chasing down a Thorn to try and test out my current build. And the bleeder would not stand the hell still!
I mean, sure, great, let lower mobs do it if you really have to. But these are BIG 'scary' beasties that don't even have their own brain! They are means to be fearless! Yet they run like utter pansies!
Please, someone fix this already? -
Quote:"Eh," Silver waved a hand slightly, "T'be honest, I'm a little more concerned about the Decepticons being here. That seeker...not good news. And, frankly, given that we were being chased by the local law enforcement...do you really think that waltzing up to City Hall is a good idea?"Eden
"It has been, yes." Captain Kalkartova in the meantime agreed with Quicksilver, the emotionless expression of her face cracking just a tad with a mild smile, "And while I can duly understand if you'd like a break, I still think you should head to Galaxy City with these two first. I believe it will save you trouble in the long run..."
He glanced around.
"Besides, you seem to have all the best tech right here...where we can start doing
something about it..."
"Monster huntin'," Anderson stated as he sat back and folded his hands behind his head, as if it was the most casual thing in the world. "Huntin' down freaks and heretics and dealin' with 'em as they deserved. Mind," he added with a slight frown, "They'll be wonderin' where ah am back at the orphanage...need someone to say grace...hmn..."Quote:Derek accepted the bottle again with increased reluctance. Several seconds were wasted staring down the container's open neck at its contents before the wanderer finally took the risk of just a little sip.
The satisfied smirk on his face after taking a little time to savour that small drop answered everything, but he said it anyway.
"A marked improvement, to say the least."
"Well, then," The Outsider said as she slumped back into her seat, ensuring that not a drop of beer was spilled. Derek did the same, using the seat's back cushion to rest his free arm. "I suppose we can start with what everyone was doing before we wound up on this world, shall we?" -

I'd like a Global Name purge....maybe I could get my real name with a space back. And my old colour
