the thing i don't like is the fact that only lvl 50 characters can join the fights, anything below is dead within a few hits.
i have a lvl 30 blaster and died with 2 hits only because the spider was set on lvl 50 instead of global power, worst thing i have ever seen in any event on any MMO....and i thought the stickman was bad in GW..shees. -
they are kinda...how should i put this..mmm....LATE.
-
yay, i'm in.
the on in the right flying, i have a black trenched coat on.
kinda small pic tho, dark too, but like the pic -
yep, it's the GW part here.
i'm trying to buy a character reset pack for GW, but i'm kinda locked out here. -
just before a fight breaks out

no sup, not so boring as other games in the same genre, no sub, a nice looking environment,....did i mention no sub?
no offense but COX could learn from that, shows that the no sub DOES work. -
boomtown updated and faultline more finished would make my day.

No one just starting out wants to run for 3-5 minutes just to get to a mission and as has already been mentioned,
[/ QUOTE ]
Treat the journey as a mission. Take your time, look at the scenery, and fight the mobs you encounter along the way. It will be more fun, and you will gain a couple of levels in the process.
[/ QUOTE ]
but a game needs to grow the player, the player doesn't need to grow in order to play the game.
to make that simple, the game needs to level you while you are playing, but the current mercy(and some atlas and galaxy mission) sends you across the whole map with enemy's 3x stronger then you around there.
as it is, there are design flaws, and they need to be fixed.
[/ QUOTE ]
If you fight mobs you encounter on route, the mobs near the mission won't be 3x your level, because you will have leveled up a couple of times on route. the game is designed arount the idea that you will street hunt (and hence, grow) between missions. Mercy is a great place for street hunting.

then i don't know how you do it, i always end up just carefully run pass the enemy's to avoid a wipe. -

You do know that saying that doesn't automatically invalidate everyone who disagrees with your opinion, right?
[/ QUOTE ]
that's not it, i'm just used to have ppl flame me the second i write a truth.
i just have a nature of saying what others think, but some flame back to hide there shame. -
let's be the guy with wishes..
i think MA is half made, horrible, just a basic generator with some text lines.
make your own mission my butt, i can't even create my own map, let alone how the mission is supposed to work.
let's list what should've bin in to make it an actual mission creator, and not a mission generator.
1.)a mission map creator, similar to that of the bas creator.
for outside missions, a wall line drawer so you can point out what area you want to use for your mission.
2.) plan enemy path's, one where you can say here is an enemy and he is saying X thing and walks with X emote.
i want to create 2 enemy's walking the hallway, talking with each other like you would on the street explaining something.
3.)plan the spawns, i want to say where and what is spawning.
also, if i want an item to be guarded, the game should generate the correct amount.(currently, even saying 1 still spawns 2 enemy's, i did not ask for that)
4.) give us the option to make a puzzle, one where you can say you need to pull switch 1 and 2 before you can even get to the item you need to take/destroy.
or have it that this switch does not only open a door, it will also disable a turret.(which kills you in 1-2 shots, just to make it difficult)
5.)be able to limit the mission on party size, so the mission can be made without the worry of an 8 man team spoiling the whole point of the mission.
now let the flames come -
well yeah, i always wanted a dragon tail, the current one look to much like a plastic bend stick.

i don't know what the fuzz is, it's your own damn fault for not watching what you do.
that's what you get from rushing, no wonder i never have such problems. -
it just needs 2 things.
1.) a hospital next to the entrance of mercy city(to call it that)
2.) a better starting point.
they could remake an entire base and build it somewhere in the middle of the game, or they could just turn the whole thing around.
so instead of beginning at the coast, you begin in the city.
this does mean a complete overhaul in enemy levels and some missions has to be adjusted, but i think this will make things a lot more clear for the newbies. -
the only problem is the clipping issue, but i don't think they mind that now after what i saw in the super booster pack 2.
-
muahahahaha, jay did it again.
he made me able to make the thing they should've not give me access to, now i can make her:

While this is all well and jolly, I don't see how you're gonna explain it in a story aspect. Why would they sell it off to WW/BM?
[/ QUOTE ]
why would you be limited to a cape and aura in a story aspect...?
it's the same, something not fitted for the story aspect, but it's making things more flexible.
[/ QUOTE ]
The cape and aura things actually do have a meaning behind them...to get them, you need to do a story arc.
[/ QUOTE ]
in my story aspect, sorudo came on earth with already high power, yet i can not create a character fitting that story.
story act's are earth things, not character things. -
GW has this system, it's more along the lines that there is one character and that character measures your DMG and spike output.
nothing much, but might be handy. -
asked for this a while ago, tho i asked more around the lines of widow-like shine.
it's kinda the same, and i /signed this. -

You don't really need to read all the numbers, sorudo. That's if you really want to get your hands dirty about the space.
Basically, it's making the use out of 100kb, which may be big at first for your arc, but when you start putting custom groups in, your space is really eaten up. For example, a custom group with 3 minions, 1 lt, 1 boss and 1 AV would be almost 45% (my own research). And if you're using more than one custom group space can be a real pain. Overall, this is about how you can make the most of the space.
Simple enough?
[/ QUOTE ]
that's what i'm talking about, simple and to the point.
thnx. -

As to the voice acting i think I'm against that I've yet to play a game where I've liked the voice acting its ok the first time you here even the second time but after a while it drags maybe some "get them" type shouts would be ok and some general chatter background noise in the city areas tho would be nice.
[/ QUOTE ]^This.
Had it in the Matrix Online and the first thing they did was kill off Morpheus so they didn't have to re-hire Laurence Fishburne.
General chatter would be nice though.
[/ QUOTE ]
At least update the general ohh, oomph, moans etc etc... They are sounding rather hollow and... Ehh... I took a blow to the face and all I did was a slight grunt?
[/ QUOTE ]
got to agree here, and sometimes they don't even fit your character.
something like the situation i had a few months ago, i made a child on around 16 year old and i get an " uuughh" of an old woman.
they better make us choose the sound age, that would fix something. -
the music sure does need a re-vamb, every MMO i ever played has a looped music trough the game while COX is the only quiet game without any background music.
the only thing we do get is an intro music, not something we asked for now did we.
also, the music of pocked D needs it's own slider, not everyone likes the music of pocket D.
