When I first log into a new character, I always set up my Chat Window thusly:

1. Get rid of the three default tabs at the top and make sure the "A" for "Active Tab" is selected.

2. "Broadcast" Tab channels: Broadcast (Default), Request/Auction.

3. "Local" Tab channels: Local (Default), Emotes.

4. "Team" Tab channels: Team Chat (Default), Private Messages.

5. "Help" Tab channels: Help (Default), System.

6. And if you're in an SG/VG: "SG/VG Name" channels: "SG Chat (Default), Coalition.

I don't know you. Never met you. And I wasn't even aware of your contributions to the community until today.

There is a mission in CoV in which you are implanted with a Nictus for transportation. You gain their tp power a dark blast-like power that Council Galaxy's have. (Unfortunately, I don't remember the contact name for that arc).

I remember my contact telling me that I had so much time to transport the Nictus to a new prepared host before it died.

This would support the idea that a Nictus needs a specific host to survive and cannot survive without that host for long.

Yeah, Ol' Elec Head is easy...Except, that one elec power of Deathsurge is a killer.

Nah, I usually just play whatever archetype needs testing that day. I generally play Defenders or Blasters though.
