    I know you all are being hopeful, but notice how this was announced before i17. It say GR closed beta. Never once does it EVER say anything about any other issues or expansions of any kind. The loyalty program is a GR exclusive ONLY. i17 is NOT included. Sorry guys, but it's not rocket science. You are not entitled to anything in i17 CB, but when GR CB starts and they get to your tier you are good to go!

    Plain as day the devs said Loyalty program was for GR beta. Loyalty program was talked about before i17 was announced! IT DOES NOT INCLUDE i17 BETA! Issue's closed betas are chosen by the devs not the Loyalty program that was plain as day talking about GR ONLY!

    Next time don't ask a question unless it "concerns you" so you will get an answer that "concerns you", otherwise you won't get the answer you want I guess. Don't be mad at us cause we don't know, be mad at yourself for not understanding simple crap like the Loyalty program. Have fun waiting patiently like EVERYONE ELSE for the email that says if you're in or not. The Devs are not required to tell you that you aren't in it.

    That's what they just said. Only the red names know why you are or aren't in a beta. No one else knows. There is a rhyme or reason why, but no one but them know. This means that you will not know WHY you are not in it and you will not know WHO is in before, during, and probably not after.

    You are asking questions that everyone on here can only guess at. No one on here can or will give you these answers since we do not have access to them. Sorry friend but you just have to wait and see if there is an announcement about it. Only the devs and family and friends are in a first anyway. Be patient and see what happens.

    There is so much floating around it definitely get confusing real fast! I'm not sure how they are handling it, but I was confused on how he worded what he said. It was like he was thinking that DS was part of i17 and not GR. It may be released for those of us that have pre-purchased, but not for anyone else, so it is still an exclusive to GR. I could have misunderstood his wording though. O WELL! We will all know when everything is released at least lol!

    Can you provide a link with the above information? Where on any announcement does it say that DS would be part of i17? I haven't read that anywhere. DS is part GR, but they are testing DS so you can use it in April if you pre-PURCHASE GR. No where have I seen anything that said DS magically, for no reason, became part of i17. It is not part of a FREE issue, it is part of a PAID expansion.

    On the other hand Ultra mode is obviously not a GR exclusive. Like others said, the devs announced that if they could implement it before GR they would, which means its not exclusive GR content. If it is not GR only content they owe you nothing for your loyalty.

    Sorry buddy! I wish I was in too, but you can only hope and wait. You won't have to wait that long to get in open beta anyway so no worries man!

    I for one can't wait to see the awesome visuals and additions that take up almost 900MB for an update on a game that is only about 3GB!! Excited!!!

    We all hope, but you can never know until it's out! Just because they don't mention it doesn't mean it won't happen, but I doubt it will happen. I wish they would do something like Lord of the Rings online did. LoTRO has a separate client to load DX9 or DX10 textures. That would be really nice The same people still play together, but if you have a better computer you can have the awesome graphics and textures . That would be a great way to implement such a change! Just my opinion, but it works well for them lol!

    Thanks! If only I worked for Mutant Robot Ninjas... They would probably give me the day off. Sadly I don't and I am working today lol. Doesn't mean I can't hit the refresh button every now and then though

    So it seems NCsoft store is down for "scheduled maintenance"... Is this just a coincidence? Maybe they are always down on Tuesdays, but I have never noticed... I would like to think they are adding a little thing called pre-purchase to the site

    Lucky me, I couldn't ask for a better b-day present from NCsoft today unless of course they said they were fooling about June and released the full expansion today lol!

    It's a matter of preference really. If you are like me and want DP early then pre-order, if you want to save that extra money go ahead and wait. I have no problem paying a little extra having DP early. It just depends on your personal preference. There is nothing wrong with either decision.     Compare it like this:
    When new PS3 games come out you have a decision to make:
    A. Buy the brand new game you want for $50-$60 a pop
    B. Rent the game
    C. Wait till the game is $30-$40 and they have made a sequel. Not always true about the sequel though lol

    In all of these instances you get the same game just at a different time. You pay more depending on when you buy it. When you buy it depends on how bad you want to play said game. Some people prefer to dish out $50-$60 a pop for games, but for most I wait till they are under $40, but for very rare occasions I have bought them brand new.

    For COH, DP is worth the extra dough for me, but may not be for you, which is totally fine! I don't mind spending an extra $15 dollars for early access, if that is even the end result.

    I know this is not an exact comparison, but it is the best I can think of at the moment lol

    That's garbage and you know it. The two do not equate.

    I have it rough right now but I have always been good with my money. I don't have any credit cards. I am in debt to no one. The only thing I ever bought with a loan was a computer that I already had money set aside for so that I could get credit to buy a house. I had a mortgage. I don't have one any more. I live within my means. I do what I have to do to get by.
    I can see how $15 makes a big difference to some people in these hard economic times.

    If you can't have compassion for those that aren't as luck as you, I really wish the table turn and show you what it is like on the other end of the stick and then you might have a different perspective, but I'm sensing it would just probably make you more of a jerk.

    I paid $50 for City of Heroes. I paid for a pre-release version of City of Villains. I don't know when I'm going to have the money to get GR. And you're tossing around $'s like the mean nothing.
    Those $15 might mean nothing to you. (And I throw some money at the DEVs for booster packs when I can). But that $15 could very well the equivalent of $15,000-30,000 to you - aka so much money that it's a difference between paying rent, eating, putting gas in a car, or paying for utility bills.

    But like I said in MY EARLIER POST in regards to this, if they want the free month, they can wait to buy it and train up in some patience along the way.

    Those that have the loot to show-boat and act L337 because they have the extra buck can feel free.

    You've made my decision for me. Regardless if I save up the money early to get the pre-release version of the game..I'll wait for the version with game time. I'm tight on cash and I don't have money to throw around. That $15 would really help me out. The DEVs can thank you for not getting that extra $15, oh arrogant one with $ and attitude to throw around at the less fortunate.

    I don't have much patience from arrogant people with money, they are the ones that ruined the world economy for those of us that are suffering because of it ...and some of them...could care less about the economic state that some of us are in.

    You must play villains primarily, because you certainly are no hero with the kind of attitude you are expressing.

    I'm seriously tempted to double the freaking stakes and say that I'm not going to play with any teams on the live servers with anyone that has DP or Demon Summoning before GR is released. I may very well refrain from doing so just because of this jerks post.

    Some of us are really suffering out here. It isn't a joke!
    If $15 makes that big of a difference to someone maybe they shouldn't be paying that much a month and another $30 to play any game... I usually don't post things like this towards people. I usually try to explain more, but anyone that reads your post will understand. You just need to stop whining. If $15 is that big to you then don't use it on a game every month. Wait until you can afford it better or something. Don't get on here and get mad at people that CAN afford it. Geez! Some people!

    Nice tension breaker Zombie Man! lol

    P.S. @The_Alt_oholic: While I am running around with my Dual Pistols you will just be doing the same old thing not teaming with me cause you're being a big baby about it... Just saying!

    Notice how he says there are no new Epics planned for "50". Why would he say that? Because they are planning them for a different lvl ... maybe! Just a thought... I wonder what the "End-Game" system will be all about. Soundc intriguing!

    Sorry I never posted a conclusion! I did driver sweeper and still had problems with 190.38 version. Since then I have upgraded to an EVGA GTX 260 216 cores 1792mb card! I seem to have driver crashing problems now! lol! I think it is a PSU issue though. Graphics look amazing when it is running good though! Max settings for all games i've played!

    Sorry that was a bit off topic. I would steer clear of the 190.38 drivers! Just get the newest! I think my problem with my 9800GT was something to do with the fact that I was using an HDTV as a monitor. It was not very friendly with the HD over lap... o well! Now I have to get my issues sorted out with the GTX 260!

    Well Posi did state how he came up with it. As long as it's not an exact character copy I don't see how they could get too angry lol... Then again it is Marvel... O well! We'll see how that goes!

    On the note of copying characters, me and my friend "tried" the so called "competition" that is called CO... The fact the some are calling it competition is quite hilarious I might add.... Anyway we were in the beta. You can make an almost exact copy of Stateman in it! You can even name him Statesman, although they blocked Marvel super hero names... So I made him and walked around the tutorial zone asking everyone where the competition was, since I couldn't find any lol! Just thought you would all get a kick out of it!

    This is the error I get when I try to start COH after upgrading to the 190.38 drivers on the EVGA website for the 9 series cards... I can't seem to find a link to download the COH helper so I'm not sure how to get it... I even google'd it... I have an EVGA 9800GT hybrid power. Anyone else have issues with this? I am also running windows 7... I can revert back to the 170 series drivers, but I heard these worked with COH as the 185's didn't. Any help would be great!

    PLEASE NOTE: COH will start but it stays in windowed mode even if I change it! Thanks for the help in advance!!

    I am also a beta tester for CO just to see what it's about and I agree... They meshed a good game, COH, with a stupid, overated game... WOW... I understand that WOW has made money and so has COH, but just because you combine them does not mean you will make more money than both combined... I wish they would have had a more original idea... It is basically WOW with super heroes! Horrible idea Cryptic!!! Shame on you!
