  1. Ed's voice filled to tunnel and aided Wild Red's meditation. When the door opened Ed's voice stayed powerful but his pace slowed a little. As the Freaks music washed over her, Wild Red finished her meditation.

Wild Red took in her surroundings. The music, the lights, the partially open Iris and Ed. She flew straight into the back of him. A she dropped to her feet from the shock, but the barbed wire she had wrapped herself in caught, on his skin. She stepped back trying not to hurt him anymore than she already had.

" Sorry " She whispered under her breath.
  2. Thanks GR. I know we don't have any smilies in our motd but there may have been a couple of semi colons. Hopefully some one will have reported it by the time I get home. So I won't have to .
  3. I can't log in 2 characters so far, one is in Galaxy and one is in skyway.
  4. In a calm and almost understanding voice Wild Red replied. "We are what this world made us Darkness. Nothing can change that. But if people cannot look beneath the surface, what chance does anyone have. As for the freaks... I'm looking forward to saying hello."
  5. As Wild Red floated after Darkness Redeemed, she could feel Kata's stare burning into the back of her. She also knew one wrong move would mean she'd be Zig tagged or dead, depending on who got to her first.

Instead of monitoring her surrounding's Wild Red began to meditate, it was an old technique her mentor taught her. Tuning her abilities to aid the mismatched group or target Freaks. She was aware this would leave her vulnerable, but she was willing to take her chances.
  6. Might be fun to bring Sam in then Shadowe

Depending on the events of the sewers. You could always have Wild Red as a material witness. Although she would have to be there by force, being a bad girl and all
  7. WR is following Ed.

As for powers - she does not stand a chance in melee with a powerful apponent. She has Radiation blast, including some stuns and aoe's. Is a Kinetic (woo hoo for FS ) and she has been mentored by Ghost Widow (so if applicable to the story additional powers, but unless someone asks me to use the GW powers I have no plans to)
  8. Wild Red took a step towards Kata, testing her reflexes. She noted how Kata moved to face her and yet kept herself aware of her surroundings.

"You know Kata, not everything is black an white. Sometimes you need to look deeper." She lifted slightly from the floor. "I am after justice from the Freaks. Regardless of what you think." Wild Red drifted off after Darkness Redeemed.
  9. "Wild Red and thank you for leading me here Kata." the masked smirk could be heard in her voice.
  10. Hey Kalantari,
    Welcome to the story
  11. She laughed and turn back to the demon. "The Isles made me the woman I am today." She hissed.
  12. "Just know I'm after the freaks too. You can call me Wild Red." She looked over to the guy still in Kata's grip. "Why don't you loosen your amour, rather than her grip?"

Wild Red turned her back on the demon who looked ready to attack her if she breathed in the wrong direction. She smiled behind her mask. She ment it as a slight and that she was not threatened by him, she hoped he understood the gesture.
  13. Wild Red floated down through the doorway and landed softly.

"Well isn't this sweet. A nice little reunion. Although you may want to unfreeze her. She is more useful if she can move." Wild Red's patiance had begun to wear thin. She stood with her hand on her hip waiting for who ever was going to make the next move.
  14. Wild Red hovered close to the ceiling of the tunnel. Light and dark did not affect Wild Red as she did not use her eyes to see.

As she followed Kata further into the tunnel, Wild Red kept as far behind her as possible, trying not to be noticed but close enough to hear anything that she said.

When Kata tripped over the Freaks body, Wild Red looked at the carnage before her. It had been a massacre and the Freaks had seriously lost the fight. Wild Red nodded in approval, she could not have done any better.

Then Kata carried on moving, Wild Red followed.
  15. I have already made 1 mistake and as we can see the thread is getting more and more complicated. I have created this so we can recap what we are doing. by all means keep your plot lines to yourself it makes things more interesting .

Wild Red was feeding out to the hero world some information on the Freaks. Then she got attacked directly by the Freaks and has decided to retaliate in person. She is currently tracking Kata - Arctic Princess is aware of this . Wild Red is obvoiusly a villian please feel to treat her as such.

    Add your thoughts and recaps
  16. Wild Red had been searching Brickstown for a few hours. She cursed the professor for sending her on a wild goose chase. Then she caught it. A familiar scent on the breeze, so she decided to find the source of the smell. The smell of blood started to mingle with the smell of motor oil. Wild Red glanced around. Then she saw her, Kata, descending into a sewer entrance. Her instincts told her she had found her mark, so Wild Red followed.
  17. The Professor returned to his office to take a break from all the attention. He had been questioned by a hero and that had put him edge, this was getting to deep for him to handle. He closed the door behind him and reached for a bottle of water out of his mini fridge.

"Hello Professor." Came the female voice behind him. He turn on the spot and dropped his water at the sight that greeted him. She stood in a tattered black catsuit, masked and blindfolded. Wrapped in barbed wire, with bright red hair. The professor gasped.

"Surely I don't look that bad?" She asked.
"Why are you here?" He trying to step back but Wild Red closed the gap again.
"You owe me Prof. Tell me where I can find Kata?" She snarled.
"The hero that was here a few hours ago?" He looked puzzled. "Why?"
"Because!" She grabbed his throat and forced him against the wall. The barbed wire digging at the skin on his neck.
"I don't know." His eyes widened in fear.
"That's not what I wanted to hear." She tightened her grip slightly.
"Brickstown... Try Brickstown..." He gasped for air as Wild Red let him go and he dropped to his knees. "There is increased... *gasp* freak activity. She... *cough* will probably be patrolling."
"There that was not to hard." Red patted his head. The Prof winched as the barbed wire jabbed him again. She moved towards to window and sat on the ledge. "Oh just so we are clear. You have given me nothing more than a suggestion. You still owe me. Don't fail me again. I helped you get where you are. I can take you down just as easily." With that she flew out of the window.

    "Crazy *****!" The Professor gasped
  18. Wild Red had made it to Paragon City relatively easily. She flew in under the longbows radar. Now came the difficult part. All the information about her contacts had been destroyed in the explostion.

As she flew over the hundreds of streets that all looked the same to Wild Red, she paused mid flight as she watched a demon heading toward a door. He looked seriously annoyed and as much Wild Red would have loved to have witnessed the following massacre, she had business to attend to. She carried on flying, wondering what a demon was doing in Paragon City with out screeching sirens following him.

First stop the university. To a friend who owed her a favour...
  19. Leo attended the event and he brought Helen (a co-worker at the Days Inn) with him. Early into the celebrations, they bumped into Ryan and a friend. Introductions were made, Helen became a touch star struck and managed to stammer a hello to Ryan. To which Leo could only roll his eyes and lead Helen away from all the excitement.
  20. ((removed for continuity. no worries slight crossover ))
  21. Wild Red stood deep in thought, tapping the USB device against her hand. “If the Prof was willing to pay for the information, I wonder who else I can sell it to?” She picked up her phone and dialled another number.

“Hello Kata. I have heard you are investigating the troublesome Freak attacks around your precious city. I have an offer that you cannot refuse.” Wild Red smiled. Kata’s reply was cut short when the door exploded inwards. Wild Red swore as she jumped out of the way of flying shrapnel.

A huge freak stepped through the gap where the door used to be.

“Where is the device Wild Red?” The freak pounded the massive hammers together that had replaced his hands.

“I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about!” Red slipped the USB device into a secret pocket under her belt.

“I’m going to flatten you first, then I will find it.” The freak took a swing at Red, who dodged it easily.

“You will have to catch me first.” Red reached out her hand and snatched the freaks speed. She flew past the freak and out the door. As she hovered just outside entrance, she pulled out a detonation device. Red moved out of range as she pushed the button. 2 seconds later the base exploded.

“Damn Freaks! I guess I have to get involved now.” Wild Red started flying in the direction of Paragon City.

    50...

My one and only 50 ding was with 2 good friends who were helping me with that last bit of xp, as my Emp/Def really can't solo. It was a great laugh
  23. I believe it is. The easiest way is to send a pm to Liz who put the post up and runs the SG.

    Epic Moments #2

That is really funny - well done
  25. Wild Red stood watching the news streams on her laptop. The freaks were everywhere. She had never seen them behaving in this manner before. They were almost organised, although a shambles, she could clearly see there was someone leading them. She shrugged it off, the freaks were in Paragon City and Wild Red was back in the Rogue Isles.

She took off the barbwire encased gloves, exposing her pock marked skin and emptied out her bag. There were discs and paper files. She smiled at the blue prints and carefully rolled them up. She twirled the paper tube in her fingers. This small amount of paper was worth a cool million to her. She stood up to put them into her personal safe. As she turned she knocked the empty bag off the table. It was not as empty as she thought, as a USB device went skidding across the floor. She picked it up and examined it.

She moved back to the laptop which was still displaying pictures of the freak attacks. She disconnected it from the base network.

"Well if it is a virus I don't want to take the whole base down. I have done that before!" With that Wild Red plugged in the USB device and opened it. "Damn it's encrypted." She double clicked an icon and opened a decryption programme she had stole from a very smart professor. Wild Red left the programme running while she locked away the blue prints. The programme had finished when she returned. She sat down and started reading the now readable files. She started laughing, a deep satisfied laugh. “Now who would possibly leave this lying around for any villain for find?”

Wild Red picked up her phone and dialled a number she never thought she would dial. Of course the person on the other end would not know her. But she knew them and that’s all that mattered. In the line of work Wild Red did, information was the key to success.

((ooc anyone want to receive an unexpected phone call?))
