Agreed. When I'm in the middle of the fight, I'm taunting whatever is farthest from me (within reason - not necessarily aggroing new groups) and pulling them in, with priority given to enemies that are attacking or approaching squishies. To this purpose I often put a Range enhancement in the default slot for Taunt, unless I have some other specific need.

Of course there will be danger in the race, that's the point of having it in a higher-level zone. But why make traveling to and from the event a pain? Of course they could get around that with taxibot service, but my way is simpler.

Quote:No, Going Rogue is a requirement, and so is VIP status, but VIPs now get Going Rogue automatically. You were informed wrong. You need to be subscribed to do the incarnate Trials. Owning or not owning GR has no bearing on the incarnate trials anymore.
Its still worth the purchase though, so don't get me wrong.. its just not needed for incarnate content which is VIP only currently. -
So if he had known he was talking to someone with influence, he would have been nicer? Apparently it's fine to abuse the little people. Good to know.

Someone invite that person to a Hamidon raid.
I would never have followed that conversation for that long, though. -

You can visit Praetoria via Pocket D or Talos Island. You can change or confirm your alignment by investigating tips. Is there something specific you're looking to try?

Someone's in a bad mood. Check the Build Workshop area of the forums.

Within the last week or so I worked on three hunting missions simultaneously (the first two costumes and an aura), and it was working normally at the time.

Quote:That sounds vaguely familiar.Well The Hunger Games is an interesting teen series since it has nothing supernatural associated with it (no vampires, witches, fae, werewolves, ghosts, etc). The main character is a 16 year old girl who, unlike the heroine from Twilight, is a strong, smart, woman who in the first novel is a participant in a televised fight to the death versus 23 other teens, one boy and one girl, 14-18, from each district of a post apocalyptic North America. So it's sort of the anti-Twilight.
And apparently I was not the first to notice. <.< -

That's not how it has to be. The others can log onto characters they don't intend to play for a while, join the TF, and once it's started, switch back to do whatever they like with their other characters.

Quote:So much for the idea that your change in tactics was a step towards contrition.Welp, I never said it was for anyone's mental health, I did say they were depriving themselves of positive experiences and that that is a negative thing. Not sure how the second track is incompatible with the first other than being less controversial, which you'd think would be a good thing?
Sorry I deflated your dogpile, Coyote, I'll try harder in the future to wither under your incisive remarks. -

Quote:Who does that? From what I've read, only the people in your imagination.there's no reason to become a virtual recluse in city of heroes
For my part, I have global friends. I moderate a global channel. I attend regularly scheduled events. I usually join the people on my list when invited. I occasionally join random people who are doing a TF or Trial that I need to do.
I do not normally invite strangers to team with me. Freedom of choice. -
