The real value is 39.99. I keep seeing people say that the CE of GR is 29.99, but I have never seen it that low around here. When I went to get a time card on Tuesday it was still 39.99 on the shelf.

In any case, 9.99 that includes a FREE month, is a literal steal IMO. And if the OP wants to gripe about 9.99 WITH a free month, then something tells me he/she is just here to argue.

Yes, I am well aware that I am probably stepping on toes by saying that. But my marriage was almost ruined because of PC gaming. Spend some time with your spouse and iron out the bugs. Seriously, its more important than an MMO any day of the week.

The Rikti invasion, yes. Zombies... Let's just say I died several times as a lowbie yesterday and ended up with 2 bars of debt by the time it was done. I was a lvl 11 or so.

Actually, if you know the date (and it hasn't been an absurdly long time) and time of deletion, they will restore characters for you. One of my friends quit the game several months ago. She said it was a permenant deal so before leaving, she deleted every single toon that she had. Some of those characters had billions in IO's sunk into them.

She came back over two months later. 80% of her characters were un-deleted, but there were a few that had the data too garbled, those toons were lost.

But it can be done.

As for me...I don't think I've ever deleted a toon I regret. I *never* delete anything past level 15. I just can't do it. I've deleted a few 20 somethings before, but those were PLed and I just found them stale and boring...not to mention I had no idea how to play them correctly.

More than three quarters of the player base likely has no idea about what this badge even is or means. In your eyes I'm sure that doesn't make it any less right to have it, but I doubt they will change this badge because it offends you, and what looks to be you alone.

They may as well get rid of everything offensive in this game, then.

No, honey, I read your post just fine. You're very judgemental to people who say 10 bucks means a lot to them. I commented on many of the 'points' your post had within; most of them pretty laughable for my situation and possible the situations of others. You don't know us or what our 'stories' are so to speak.

Hell, even those people who say 10 bucks is a spit in the wind for, say that its overpriced. IMO, I think the pack should be 5 bucks. I also think, IMO, that we should be getting some of this stuff within issue updates or perhaps they could have put them in with GR since that cost 45 bucks on its own.

As someone who has NO income, don't be so quick to judge people. I have had my PC for years; long before we ever had money issues and I just take hand me down parts for upgrades that cost me nothing. It is NOT a gaming rig and I find the assumption laughable.

Someone else here pays for the internet and cable out of their own pocket and by their own choice. Once again costing me nothing.

I live off of game cards when I have the money saved to afford them. Microcenter, a PC store here, sells the 60 day cards for 19.99 - NO tax.

I don't go to movies, out to eat, or really anywhere that can be called entertaining. So playing an MMO does not = disposable income.

Its irritating when so many new and shiny things come out through purchasable packs only. IMO this pack and the party pack should have just been given to the playerbase, or at least made 5 bucks instead of 10.

And ten bucks is 'squat' to some of us. Most of the playerbase may blow 20 bucks on soda a week, but a fair amount of us do no such thing. I don't. I rarely, if ever, even drink soda.

So while I see your point, you need to stop making assumptions to people who say this is just too much money for them. If its such a drop in the bucket for you, I'll gladly take one if you're buying.
