There's a Fear Pool?

Quote:I understand. It's quite simple: Moving from one accounting system to another has led to people getting points before their time in September. But no one threw a hissy fit over that and threatened to quit.honestly this is just ncsoft trying to get all they can..this is the reason its not on the day you pay.( which btw it should be on the day you pay!)
the confusion is based on selfishness more then helpfulness...you could have just as easily pulled the points and merits off at the start of the billing cycle.instead you decided to half*** it for your own benefit.
and you wonder why people dont understand...
Then, in order to catch up, some people will get their October points two weeks late until their billing cycle can synch. At which point, this became the worst thing in the world to ever happen... EVER!!!!!!1!!!!
Oh, I understand exactly what's going down. -
Quote:They're already on record that they'll be changing the original plan of rotating Tier 9 VIP Rewards to compensate for this unforeseen problem.Normally, I wouldn't care about this, but since you decided to tie a limited-time reward to these tokens, I'm rather miffed. If you'd held up your original statement, I'd already have the whole Celestial Armor set on my main account.
Quote:Add to that the fact that this is the second time I've had to type this post because of the @*&%^$# issue with the random forum log-outs and color me extremely impressed with Paragon Studios lately.
Look up "Lazarus" as an add on for Firefox or Chrome browsers. Never lose what you were typing again. Also, be able to search through all the stuff you ever posted. -
Quote:Yes, they do. It was in the post you quoted. By October 13, Point grants will be caught up do date to the beginning of a billing cycle. Token grants happen at the end of a billing cycle.Unfortunately, Paragon Studios does not yet have a timetable for when we can expect this problem to be corrected or indeed a definite endpoint for when everything will be resolved.

You can take your incarnate to a tailor and see what they look like through power customization. All the lore pets are visible that way.

Without creating a new AT, you can come up with a Defense Set whose secondary powers are team buffs. This would be great for a mystical defense set.
Or, just as a Defender is Buff/Range, mainly through proliferation you can create a new AT that would be:
- Buff/Melee
- Buff/Assault
- Buff/Support

Not everything done now *must* be justified by precedent.
New model is new model.
Subscribers get more now than they did before. Period.
Subscribers are also faced with even more content on top of that which, if they want to have, must pay more for. Period.
That's the new model for subscribers. What was done in the past is the past.
The model of paying one price which gives access to everything is gone (not that it ever existed in the past considering Booster and Expansions). And now, Powersets will be part of the "extra stuff" which you either save your monthly Paragon Points for, or, you pay money for. It doesn't matter whether Powersets were 'always included' or not. Many of the new Powersets are not included now/anymore in the base subscriptions. Just the way it is.
One can say they don't like that. Fine. One *can't* say the Devs shouldn't do it this way because of the past precedent. That's just a non-starter. New model is new model. -
Quote:Is your second build a crab? If so, then the other build, even if it's soldier only will have crab legs.I was wondering if the Arachnos Soldier was required to have the spider arms? I've been trying to do a soldier which is not a crab spider and I keep getting stuck with the spider arms. Even if I don't select the power options that would require them. What am I doing wrong?

Quote:So I moved a decimal the wrong way. It's OK. I moved it the opposite way the in subsequent operation making it work out. That's how I roll!!!That should be 1.25 cents and 1 cent, respectively. You had me thinking for a minute, "That would be $80 for a costume slot. What is this, E** Online?"

I warned everyone that this would happen because of the Gender Panels set up under Marchandicare!

Quote:I've found that, at least on Virtue, iTrials aren't advertised much in global channels anymore. You just gather in RWZ and recruit in /broadcast. It's like a train that departs every 5 minutes. My experience is that everyone everywhere does Incarnate trials, often to the exclusion of everything else. Incarnate trials are the easiest thing to find players for. Join any well-populated server and you won't be able to swing a dead cat without getting Threads all over it.

Or... you stay aware of cost and have some discipline and be a smart shopper.
At 400 PP = $5USD, then 1 Point = 1.25 cents. So, 800 points for a costume slot is $10.
But, buying points in bulk, you save 20%, which makes 1 Point = 1.0 cents.
And then you wait for the sale where a costume slot is 600 points. Which means a costume slot was only $6 for me instead of $10.
Of course, each person has different resources and priorities. But if resources are tight, then you stay on top of actual cost, stick to a budget, and shop wisely.
Another cagey use of resources is to go Premium for one month and spend the $15 you would on a subscription on Points instead. You'll still get a Token for that month, and you'll get 1,200 Points to spend. All you have to give up is some VIP perks for one month. -
I like Spider-Man's new costume.

Knee to the groin!!!

That's what your 400 point stipend is for. To buy for free as much stuff that used to be in Boosters. Plus, you will still get 3 free Issues a year, which will have free powersets (at least one that the Devs mentioned). However, the Devs are cranking out even more stuff than your 400 points can buy. So, either wait for sales, or prioritize, or do without, or pay up. But remember, before paying for anything, as a VIP you are already getting more for your sub money than you did before.

You're not missing anything by not seeing that video linked above. The videographer doesn't seem to have a plan in demonstrating the set nor the ability to edit video. Or, maybe they were just having a seizure with that window randomly open.

Quote:"knee to the groin"I do not get all the slavering for Street Justice. I mean, I was excited for Beam Rifle and was happy to buy it first day it was available... but the excitement over SJ goes so far above and beyond what I understand that it seems odd to me... like waiting in line for a Star Wars prequel odd.
Would someone explain to me what makes Street Justice so hypeful and eagerly anticipated? Is it the new mechanics? Is it the animation? Is it the fact that it's a punching set that scrappers can use?
I don't get it. -
