and nothing until January...and no thread about that here?

done some digging, CN says it was for their 20th anniversary....but also have seen (but from only one source so far) that DC's rights to the Milestone characters (Icon, Rocket, Static) have expired.....

Wow, two new episodes and another long break. And they wonder why they can't develop a following. Actually they are probably waiting to put them opposite the return of Korra because you can't have a winner if there's no loser.

Pretty crappy that YJ was listed on the guide, so it was recorded for me, but they actually played...I don't remember what it was. It wasn't Young Justice, that's for sure.

CN must be taking from the SciFi playbook on how-to-program.

The episodes of YJ (Before the Dawn) and GL (Steam Lantern) that were supposed to air are on itunes. Not sure if they're still there, but you can see it there. If you're not a fan of itunes, if you dig hard enough you can probably find it on some stream sites.

Hoping that next weeks episodes will also show up on iTunes, but have a feeling that these 2 popping up were a fluke.

Just saw something interesting on Shortpacked! in the comments section...

Namely, that Steph Brown was in the background scene of YJ as one of the abductees in Saturday's episode. Whether that's true or not, I don't know, but an interesting little tidbit if that's true.

Just checked, the missing episodes of YJ and GL aren't on iTunes anymore.

-Edit-

Also here's a list of speculation of why Cartoon Network pulled the plug all of a sudden.

http://www.bleedingcool.com/2012/10/...just-vanished/

I heard something that was close to rumored speculation reason #4. The rumor I heard, CN was getting fed up with having to pay licensing fees to DC Comics. They didn't see why they had to pay licensing fees when both CN and DC are owned by parent company Warner Bros. They pulled DC Nation as a form of protest.

Yes, Stephanie Brown aka the Spoiler did make an appearance in the new episode.

Given the apparent hatred for Steph over there, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if the show was pulled because of her appearance.

I always wonder why companies don't offer up even a crappy excuse for doing something like this, rather than no excuse at all. A token acknowledgement that shows they're paying their audience (and customers) some attention would be nice.
