I really like both of the two submissions by Airhead and gec72. Seriously, you captured the AP33 aspect very well. Funny how you both used the Atlas statue, great idea!
Zekiran... your friend's design is awesome. So good, it makes me wonder... might that be an excellent patch/emblem for the SaveCoH instead of AP33?
Perhaps replacing the "Atlas Park 33" with the Save CoH or something more universal/obvious to the cause might be a great things for us. Obviously, that's something for the group to decide and all, but it really struck me as being a good candidate for that.

I'm sure that he can change the text pretty easily, actually. 
I have like ... 7 or 8 different designs that he's worked up in the last couple hours, I'm pretty sure he could put in different text.
Any suggestions as to whether the font is best, I've got Red Circle and can give that to him if that's a direction to go, though I do like the current one just because it's pretty clean and easy to read.

#1, Anyone who sees it is going to assume that it's all one player with all those characters, which to anyone at NC, will probably just look like "padding."
#2, the use of the phrase, "redshirt ensign" is NOT the kind of message we want to be sending. Redshirts are the quintessential cannon fodder throughout Nerddom, whether you're a Trek fan or not, so seeing them on the steps of a Vigil meant to save us from 'death' feels backward. So is is it trolling the campaign or not?
And in case anyone has been wondering, aside from sending a message to anyone in the companies who can see the server stats or load in and poke around, or maybe the news media, the continued Vigil IS still creating awareness among the players, especially some who have probably just come back to the game due to news of the shutdown.

In AP33 for the past day and a half roughly, there is a whole crowd of characters in one corner of the steps, all wearing the same red-shirted costume, and all bearing a name that is some variation of "Ensign Redshirt"
I have no idea who the redshirts are but I'm pretty sure one of them is named RedShirt and is a 50 (+1) incarnate.
I know I am torn about my desire to keep AP33 alive, I want to be there til the end but I also want to play as much as possible too. My solution was to create a 2nd account and have my new toon parked in a mission in AP33 so he won't go afk, freeing up my main account for other adventures.
Maybe RedShirt had the same idea and just got carried away. I think his intentions are heartfelt and he is doing what he can to show his support and love for the game. Granted it's pretty over the top, but it does make an impressive sight.

Well, y'know, their names, their choices - and, their money put into the game. I've seen more people with concept groups like that that aren't just one guy, myself.

If City of Heroes lives on somehow and the band at Paragon Studios is put back together, I say gec72's Atlas Park #33 logo should totally be in-game as a selectable emblem for superhero costumes.
And that flag, Zekiran_Immortal? That would be worthy of a t-shirt. And a coffee mug. I would totally buy one of each.
MAKE IT HAPPEN. PLEASE.
If that somehow happens, they need to put a special case on Virtue so that the Atlas Park 33 instance always spawns. Just make it the default so you normally don't notice unless there's more than one.
Nice job on those two logos, they look cool.
