Needed: Coordinators

Hey all, related to our Save Paragon City! campaign, I'd like to get a few volunteers to be coordinators of activities I have in mind. These will be people who we're going to designate responsible for certain tasks, such as looking for CoH-related artwork pertaining to a theme, going through posts looking for certain things, etc. The intention is that we'll give the coordinator a task, they go off and do the research, reach out to the community, gather the data, and report back with what they've got while continuing to look for more.

Some of this will be part of a larger goal, such as to put together a cohesive story of how City of Heroes has affected people's lives. Some of it will be to rally our own troops and get the blood pumping to get people to want to do more. Some of it will be to send off to media and other personalities to try to drum up outside support. Some of it will be putting some gray matter to it and composing lists of data.

These people need to be at least moderately well-spoken (no "i need ur pics plz send to me @ xena-warrior-princess@gmail" kind of communication...) and have some time on their hands and patience to really exercise your search-fu, dig in and find stuff we can use.

I want to try to draft a letter for players to send... would be handy to be able to just email it to you, then maybe you can tweak it and stuff. If you know a friendly lawyer you can get to look it over, that would be handy too! I'm aware it'll need to be the US players sending it, but that doesn't mean I can't try and help otherwise. And do you want to set up a facebook group or something for those wanting to help/be involved, so we can discuss all our cunning plans off-forum?

I've actually been offline for a while- due to my phone line provider being an expletive deleted a couple of months before I was due to move house... making it seem not worthwhile getting a new one that side of moving. I'm really missing everyone, and hoping there is some way forward. I can happily write a testimonial/story if you need it for PR purposes. As an EU player, I don't have many rights, playing on US located servers, (which could be spun...) and as someone with atypical depression, I'm pretty sure that having this game to turn to, when it's 4am and my my mind is going all kinds of horrible places, has helped keep me alive.

Hey all, we could still use a few more coordinators. If you have time that you can use to help us do things like run off and do research or manage certain aspects of our campaign with a high degree of independence, please let me know and I'll add you to our project coordinators group. Please make sure you include your Titan Network forum user account name.

Basically we need people who can pick up on a topic like, "We need X." You grab it off the stack, run off and do it, contact other people as needed, gather research, or do whatever is needed. Projects range from things that might take a few hours and its done to things that might be an ongoing effort that requires greater time investments over the course of days or weeks. I have to forewarn you that some of it is kind of gruntworkish, but somebody's gotta do it, it's the kind of work that's really appreciated, and hey, it's for a good cause.

If you posted above or sent me a PM or e-mail or something, please post a reply again. I've been deluged with communications lately and in trying to keep a keen eye out on high priority communications, sometimes things get lost in the stack. I promise if I don't answer you, it's not because I don't value your communication, it's because you probably sent me communication right when 20 other people did and I got distracted right as I was getting to it.

I'd love to help out with this. I've had professional experience with researching and organizing information, and think this is just about the only thing I have the talent for to help with the Save Our City efforts. Thanks for all of your (and everyone else's) hard work!
