Please Rip this DM/SD Scrapper Build apart
Hi,
I assume you meant War Mace / Sheild. However, I might suggest you let people know what you are looking for. (i.e. incarnate defense cap or whatever else the priority is). Not knowing that I made a couple changes without remaking your entire build. I personally would want a little more s/l resistance but you did not have much so I assumed you were okay with that so I did not add much. Also, it looked like you were trying to fix an endurance issue by taking body mastery pool, so I tried to get you more recovery. Finally, I like recharge and accuracy so tried to get you more of both. I did use 2 purple sets but figured that since you had a PVP IO in the build it would be okay. There is a non purples set you can grab for both that give lower recharge but will still work.

The things that leap out at me on the original build are:
1) Quickfoot: Run Speed in Prestige Power Rush?! Personally, I like putting Quickfoot: Run/ENDURANCE in most of my character's Sprint, but that's a way to cut my endurance cost when I leave Sprint on all the time -- and still get a run bonus. I'm not really sure where you were going with just the Quickfoot: Run.
2) Tough: I know it's a great place to "set mule" those +3% defense IO's, but with most of my characters I also try to use slots there to raise resistances for when they get hit -- y'know, making them "Tougher."
3) I've never built a Shield scrapper that had so much extra endurance that I could justify running Maneuvers to hit the soft cap, and haven't built a War Mace character yet. If you can pull it off, great; if not I'd try to juggle slots around and try and achieve it without Maneuvers.

Thank you for the quick reply, Oracle! So, yes, I am looking for a War Mace build, apologies. I wasn't able to really look at your build because the link to open it in Mids is not work. Can you provide a data chunk?
I would like him to be able to hang on an iTrial, and also farm level 50 mishes as well, so that is why I softcapped the positional defenses above 45%. I do not partake in PvP, so I am none too concerned about that. The lone PvP enhancement (Gladiator's Armor DEF +3) is really optional since I am over 45% without it. I prefer to stay away from purples since I cannot afford them.
That said, endurance and endurance recovery is also very important to me for this guy. So, any improvements there are welcomed.
And finally, accuracy and damage is what this build is really about, so that is ultimately what I am focused on after DEF and endurance.

Well, I prefer the look and feel of the Prestige Power Rush, and I have an extra Quickfoot: Run lying aorund, so... And when I did check out the endrance version of Quickfoot, it saved me 0.04 endurance / second, which in my world is not enough to consider it of value, but I may be wrong.

I'm too addicted to my movement speed to put a full-blown Endurance Reduction in the sprint powers that I use, but I like the compromise of the Run/End Redux -- which I'm showing as a reduction from .29 end/sec to .23 end/sec, which is .06 end/sec. While it may not be a lot, that's a little more than a "Large Improved Recovery Bonus" that "improves your recovery by 2.5%" for .04% end/sec.
True, but I was having trouble getting my DEF up at first, so I focused on that instead of the resists, but perhaps I can re-examine them. But I prefer DEF over resists any day, which is why I turn Tough off (not toggled on) to save on endurance. I only get Tough for the slots and to get Weave.

I suppose that all depends on your endurance management? I'm a big fan of Focused Accuracy (to be used as needed) since it resists to-hit debuffs, or maybe One With the Shield would be more useful for iTrials -- I really haven't taken any of my shield scrappers iTrialing yet.

But other than that and the 0.04 end/sec, is this a decent build?
One thing I did want to get your thoughts on Eldorado. Someone else mentioned on a different thread that they forgo Build Up, which is not a toggle, in favor of Tactics, which is a toggle. I would much rather prefer that than having to always click on Build Up. What do you think?
Below is my first i22 build. I have subsequently switched to a build using Ageless with 172% base global recharge (before Ageless) that runs a ST chain of Clobber, Shatter, Jawbreaker (repeat). It's based on a build from TommyTD so I'm not sure he wants me sharing it. But it's pretty cool. Lots of purples, lots of Oblits, lots of PVP IOs and slotting stun sets for recharge. The build below is less extreme and may give you some good ideas.

I personally think it would be worth skipping maneuvers and get a Gladiator's Armor +3% def, you'd still be softcapped and could get Hover instead of maneuvers to allocate the Lotg Global recharge.
Other than that, I like the build. It seems you need to use Shatter and Crowd Control as part of your ST attack chain even with Hasten on. As they're slotted with poor endrdx due to Obliteration set, getting rid of Maneuvers should help a bit.
I take you got Agility Alpha to be just 1 purple insp away from Incarnate Softcap, I would have taken Spiritual instead, but that's just a matter of personal preference.

If you'd LIKE to use Hover as a way to get around in combat, it would give you 1.88% base defense versus 2.28% for Maneuvers, but at half the endurance cost -- 0.2 vs. 0.39 end/sec -- and I know that there are others here on the forums that like hoverscrapping!
On the other hand, you don't NEED Hover as a place to put an extra LotG 7.5, and I find that my scrappers with Spring and Combat Jumping are a lot more maneuverable (and can move faster) than my hoverblasters.
As far as other powers to put in there with limited slots, I'm really not sure what to suggest, to be honest!

If you don't like Hover, which I only wanted for a LoTG (doh, should have counted them) you can always take One With The Shield, it's a decent power for tight spots and you can allocate there the Gladiator's Armor +3% def, thus saving a slot to allocate anywhere else. Another option would be getting Bash instead of Maneuvers, add there a couple slots (prolly one from Health and another from stamina) to have a ST attack chain without resourcing to cones.
I personally don't use Hover for movement unless speed boosted in certain maps or to get out of caltrops so it's very situational.
As I posted in another WM/SD thread, I'm no expert at minmaxing / numbercrunching so I like keeping my builds simple. This is how I'd personally do a WM/SD, I'm sure there are more efficient builds out there but this one would do the job for me:
