Ice Armour; Tank, or Stalker?
I have a Ice/Mace Tanker called Freeze Police -- blue skin, police uniform, police baton weapon. I coloured the ice armours and auras to be blueish, and toned down as much as possible to be less opaque and in-your-face.
War Mace has a satisfyingly clobbering feel to it, and the mitigation from the stuns and KD seemed to work well. I found it really fun and pretty survivable, but then it's also the only Tank I've ever got to 50, so I'm definitely not an expert.

Death is part of my attack chain.
It's not just Ice Armor that allows for (pseudo-)tanking on Stalkers - my DM/Nin did just fine tanking an ITF (before being respec'd and using the IOs to softcap my ElM/Nin).

it has gone from unconscionable to downright appalling that we have no way of measuring our characters' wetness.

So I've heard, I'm aiming to slot it into T-34's damage aura. It runs a lot like the Perf Shifter PPM proc did in Stamina before the devs went "D'oh."

I have been able to Tank and survive with my /nin Stalker but /ice stalker pulls ahead. Keep in mind though that my /nin stalker was a nin/nin and my /ice stalker was a Elm/ice so that had a lot to do with it as well.
One idea, from a friend, is a spines/ice stalker, whose spines are meant to be sharp shards of ice; that's interesting, but I can't colour the spines to look properly 'icey' to my tastes.
