My City Was Gone
I had a weird CoH dream last night. I was in a big fight and my trays kept moving on me... like, tray 1 would become tray 5, and when I moved it back trays 2 and 3 would switch to something else. It was making it very hard to fight.
And after that I was in a kind of movie theater room talking to an in-game friend about it, and we were waiting for a Summer event to start, and I actually thought, "Wait, have I always gone into a theater to start the Summer event? No, I know I've run it from other locations in the game...."
But I do kind of like the idea of having to enter a theater and sit down in order to join the event. ^_^
I know I've seen things IRL that have reminded me of CoH... but nothing that really comes to mind at the moment. LFG Group though, that's good.

I had a weird real-life CoH experience that was, a bit coincidentally, when I went to the Player Summit back in April. The week before the Summit, I decided to take some vacation and stay in San Francisco to do a bunch of touristy stuff. I kept finding these badge markers...
Presidio, Coit Tower, Angel Island, Fort Point, Bay Bridge, Nob Hill, Berkeley, Alcatraz, a lot of the famous landmarks were accounted for, eight of them in all...
Of course, I had to touch each and every single one of them...
When all was said and done, I managed to get an exploration accolade...
I even managed to pick up a couple of history plaques. Who knows? If I visit a bunch more cities, maybe I'll manage to snag a history badge!
We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.

(there are six plaques for Mr. Hogflume; most are in England, but there is one in New York City. I have no idea what badge you get for all of them, but I expect that it also awards Enrusted with the Secret)

Most of my funny moments with Caller ID are when the display cuts the name at odd spots.
Not caller ID example, but similar - when I worked in a deli, I sold a lot of mashed pot.
People loved our mashed pot
Especially with gravy.

There's three I see on a regular basis:
-I live two blocks away from Paragon Prarmacy.
-On my way to work, I pass Wentworth's every day. Bonus points: They're a consignment store! (They sell musical instruments)
-Every morning, the GFS truck drives by. No matter how many times I see the small print reading "General Food Services", I still read it as "Greater Fire Sword".
