Yes, yes... complain more about Poison to prompt another buff for the set. And then... THEN! My Thugs/Poison will be able to SOLO HAMIDON HIMSELF!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

C'mon Scythus A MM can solo almost anything lol. "My Thugs/Pancake can solo Breast Cancer!"

Poison is a bit rough on Corrs and it's very clicky. I tend to use Poison Trap mostly though...more than most Poison users.

Levelling three Water/Poisons and a Water/Storm at the moment.
Storm will be paired with Poison for duo pay. So much fun.
Generally hated Poison on my Thugs/Poison MM (great single target, lousy against screaming mobs of stuff when Gang War was absent) and it seems night and day with Water Blast's ginormous AoEs.

Well, I finally decided on a concept and powerset pairing. I was originally going to go with Water/Poison, then Water/Time, then Water/Storm...

I ended up with Water/Kinetics, and tinted everything a silvery white.

Would you guys believe I snagged the name "Quicksilver Mage" on Virtue?

Yeah, but Thugs/Poison is like playing God. Stuff most other characters of mine have difficulty with, my Thugs/Poison tears apart like tissue paper. I can play my little Poison Lips while I'm half asleep and not even be worse for wear.

You've just described my entire experience with MMs. It's not Poison. It's the AT.

I scrapped my build and stripped the few IOs off of my Thugs/Traps when, with only 6 active enhancements - all IOs - I was soloing +2 AVs through the 30s and 40s.

Uh no, because stuff that my Mercs/Pain has struggled with has my Thugs/Poison picking pieces of them from her boot. True, Masterminds are strong, but not all Masterminds are created equal.

Yeah have to agree here. Masterminds as a whole are generally an easier play experience, but -within- masterminds is a pretty broad range of performance.

Mercs...they are an exception...I love mercs but compared to every other MM Primary they are just...JUST AWFUL!

EDIT: Not trying to attack you but comparing Mercs to Thugs is like comparing Gravity control (Pre-Buff) to Plant Control. I still can't believe the Devs allowed us to be able to have two Gang Wars out at the same time lol.

You're just going to pull out every excuse to hate on Poison aren't you? Seriously man, think of the Bruiser, Gang War, Envenom, Weaken (these two spammed over and over), and Venomous Gas combined with the Thugs and Enforcers added just as frosting. I have never seen enemy hit point bars drop so quickly even on my other Thugs Masterminds.

But at least you were forced to agree that not all Masterminds are created equal.

Scythus what are you talking about? I love poison...I post in almost every poison thread on this forum...I just think of poison as my child lol...I want what's best for it and /Poison is powerful but it needs a little more love. It can be sometimes tough to solo with on a corruptor much like how TA is difficult to solo at times.

Also, you didn't have to force me into saying that all Masterminds are not created equal! I already agreed with yah bud! I remember when Burnout was announced and I said to myself "man double gang war makes double Serum blush!".

I don't want to talk about the control sets to much because I don't want to deviate from the poison discussion.
