Why Don't You PvP

I don't PvP b/c the whole movement and rooting mechanic. Everytime i atack i can't move at the same speed, i got root to the animation. IS very frustating for a Melee character to play in such a high speed battle.

Also i find this game don't have wide enough skill set to develop, outside of movement and some attack. Everything come donw to how many Billion you spent and how FoTM you are.

I really love to PvP but I can't enjoy it for those reason. I prefer to play arena when there is a event.

I want /Fire stalker. Because nothing says stealth like dumping a can of gasoline on yourself and lighting a match. -Morac

I don't mind some character progression in PvP games (which seems to be the trend nowadays with a lot of modern games) but in MMOs character progression is the focus and I'm just not interested in PvPing that way.
100% agree with this. I played fps games competitivly for some time and I enjoyed it. But when it comes to MMORPGs, it just doesn't interest me for exactly those reasons. It clashes with everything an MMORPG is about. The fact that there are so many different classes (or AT's and power pools in this game) really just tones down to importance of skill so much. Unlike in fps games, where better reflexes and strategy are the only possible advantages you can have.

Some characters will always outperform the others, no matter how bad they are. It's like playing a basketball game where you get to play with a deflated ball against one team and a normal ball against the other. But ofcourse people are entitled to their opinion, this is just why I don't enjoy PVP in MMORPGs.

You only have to do one thing to get me to PvP, get rid of the other players.

Never had a good experience in a pvp zone or on a pvp server. Always about who can gank others first, some games even PvE is like that (but thankfully we have mostly instance zones). I don't want to team with most other people, let alone fight with them. Frankly if this game were avbl. in a single player format I would have gotten that instead.

The only form of PvP I find acceptable in any game is something like the duel feature in some or the arena here, 2 (or more) people agreeing to terms, and dueling as they see fit. Two friends duking it out to see who built a better toon. Anything beyond that will never interest me.

And as for the idea of not playing with your character, makes it even worse to me, one of the only reason I play games like this is to play MY character. I love making costumes/characters. And despite them starting to fall behind in a few aspects of the costume creator and I wish they would allow us greater freedom in that, they still do it better than any other game I have found so far over all. That is one of the only things that keeps me paying for this game. And it is one of the reasons I won't do that States arc thing, I play rpgs to play MY characters. There are thousands of games out there that do pregenerated characters, and ones that are heavy on the PvP, and there is a reason I don't own really any of them.

Seems like I'm in the minorty here but the only reason I don't PvP is because whenever I go to one of the PvP zones the blaming place is empty.

The few times I have played against another player I really, really enjoyed, it got the adrenelain pumping like no other aspect of the game. Knowing there was a human player that could outhink me (and usually did) I found very exciting. I don't recall any kind of harassment by either others or myself. I also never built a character specifically to PvP, only ever used the char I was currently playing. Sometimes I won, sometimes I lost, either way never spoilt my enjoyment.

Having said that it's been a long time since I was even in a pvp zone but I still happily play the game as it is.
