Not in my recollection. And I read every post. Unless you can link to such a statement, I'll just assume you're misremembering.

Happily all fourm regs with a functioning brain know my stances on the popular recurring topics that have been argued to death here over the years, so rather than detail your amazing level of wrongness I'll just add you to my /ignore list.

One post, that's a record!

Of course I agree with MnV as well as the other posters saying thats bunk, since I'm able to successfully do it as well.

But dont tell nethergoat that you can successfully flip -->, he'll make a personal attack at you, then put you on ignore because you had the nerve to disagree, lol.
I think *maybe* Capra de la Dark has said you can't buy low, artificially inflate the price, sell at the new price, and maintain that for an extended period of time and profit in the long run. But that's really Smurphy's story, not so much Nether's. So I'll have to see an actual post to buy that Nethergoat said what you suggest.

As I dimly recall, this whole troll of Mean's dates back to him saying something ridiculous, me calling him on it and then having it devolve into a semantic quagmire where he kept ignoring what I actually said in favor of making up a bunch of nonsense that suited his argument.

Which is what landed him on my /ignore list, one of the better decisions I've made since my return to active duty.

As one of the foremost advocates of flipping on these forums (one of my Crazy 88's characters is named The Heroic Flipper, TYVM), the claims being made in this thread are ludicrous on their face.

So you admit you were in the library when the alleged crime occurred, reading the very same diary which was stolen?!?!?!?

I have a Warshade named The Heroic Marketeer, but it was so boring getting rich at level 1 that I advanced to level 12, gotten even more ridiculously rich, and just abandoned him long ago.

And can I at least get a little credit for the naming gymnastics I performed above? Please?

digging around all the various servers unlocking stuff after returning to the ranks of subscribed players, I came across a peacebringer- The Vulture Capitalist. I apparently never did anything with him, but he's got a TERRIFIC costume- I should ship him over to Virtue, hook him up with the 88's and figure out a scheme for him to work.

(or, since he's level 1, I can just save his costume, delete him, and resurrect him on Virtue... =P)
