Thigh Accessories

So I have recently been on an alt-creating spree and found myself thinking, we need thigh accessories! Maybe a holster or a simple pouch? Any thoughts on this?

it would require a new anchor point, which either there are no more anchor points or the devs refuse to commit the last ones to anything. Which is a waste. But if they were to set up a new one I would much rather it be somewhere more useful like for loin cloths or robes or the much sought after flowing hair.

This is a long-standing request, and one I fully support.

However, there are either 0 or very few Nodes (attachment points) left on the player skeleton, so those details would have to be tied to another detail... like belts (i.e. how Longbow have extra pouches attached to their Stealth-style belts) or Legs like how an additional pad can be added to a Clockwork Thigh piece.

Regardless, however it is done, I want it. (Oh, and a quiver.)

I may be wrong on this, but it seems to me as if it would be possible to have pads, pouches, etc. Under armored pants, we do get "padding" options. Since these seem to exist already, I'm curious if they could be separated from where they're currently listed and made into a separate option as tails were from belts a while back.

No we don't. I just checked Armored Pants and there is no such padding option. We can only choose the style of armor (like Tech or Steampunk for example) and the color scheme (like Camo or Stripes). That's it.

The closest we come to thigh accessories is when the devs add two separate choices of pants to a set. Like Clockwork plain and with thigh pads.

Thigh accessories would be separate costume selection that would fit on any pants design, and as RevolverMike already explained,

I wasn't clear when I said we have "padding" options and I kind of used it very loosely. If you look at the armored pants, they're essentially a different pant option (I don't remember quite which) with an extra layer of "padding" on top of them.

That's what I said. It's a completely separate option of pants for a set. One is designed for the Tight category, an the other bulkier design is for the Armored category.

Thigh Accessories - would be a completely new costume category that modifies the basic leg options they same way Detail 1, an Detail 2 modify the Head, and Chest Detail, Back Detail, and Shoulders modify the Torso.

That will require the use of a new anchor point which may not exist. It may not even be possible without redesigning the whole costume creator from scratch with more anchor points.

Which, honestly, would probably be bloody welcome about now >_>

No argument there. I'd love to see a costume generator with a lot more options as far as anchor points go.

Separate anchor points for Eyes and Horns. Upper Arm Details separate from shoulders, Lower Arms seperate from Gloves, & Thigh Accessories.

The ability to place scars and tattoos with an x, y, z slider an rotate them.

The thing is unless they've been working on this in secret for a while, it'll be god knows how long before we see any of it added to the game.

They do it with the belt options. When I briefly had access to the other Vanguard belt; it had the thigh guards mounted onto it just as the more recent Imperial Dynasty belts have thigh coverings.

I propose adding it to the Skirt/Shorts node, seeing as they probably wouldn't let us have thigh details in conjunction with skirts/shorts on account of clipping anyway.

I have to admit my first thought on seeing this is, "Rob Liefield strikes COH!"

New legs option: Lots of pouches, two "boot" options - one with pointy little feet, one either invisible or automatically coming up with rocks and things to hide them behind.

>.>

(That said, yeah, longstanding request. They could add them as arm details via the "Shoulder" slot - much like the barbarian rings are on the arm - but there's nothing like this for legs.)

*Turns baseball cap around backwards*

Who doesn't look at a model with no thigh space whatsoever and think "Ooh! I could use a nice, oversized garter-of-pouches right now!"

And while you're at it, remove the models' feet below the ankles...
