Ive also always wanted to make small (2 inch wide by 1cm high) brass and enamel versions of the badges. Like a generic exporation one, Weatherman, Beliver, some day jobs ones etc.
With World of warcraft merchandise so prevalent in the collectables market, I wish City of heroes did the same! All I have is the 8 Heroclix figures, which were a gift from a freind.

Given the game's population, I could see them selling maybe 100 shirts. Okay, let's be charitable and say 1000. No more than 100 of anything else since the shirts would probably be the most popular item (everyone wears clothes; well, except people who play in the nude).
Haha yeah no. Would be nice but I can't imagine it happening. Anything they do make is typically reserved wither as a contest prize or some sort of swag for attending an event like Hero-Con.

Just a quick note to whomever's reading this. I have the "Atlas Park classic" theme as my smartphone ringtone and the "private message" sound as my text message notification. I'm currently using screenies as wallpaper for both my computer and smartphone.
I would pay money for things like an official "Go. Hunt. Kill Skullz." T-shirt or mousepad or coffeemug, etc.
Just FYI.
(Actually a "Property of Vanguard Athletic Dept." t-shirt would be nice too)
