Is there a way out of Galaxy City now?

This weekend I logged in a few characters that I hadn't touched in years. One of them was a level 2 who happened to be in Galaxy City. (None of the contacts are there, of course.) I thought that the tram was supposed to link to Ourobouros, but clicking on the tram door just gives "You cannot enter." Is the Pocket D teleporter my only escape route at this point?

(Not that it matters much; I mean, he's a level 2, and a throwaway at that, it's no time at all to redo him if I wanted, but I'm curious about my options.)

Open your map, there should be a green (?) spot indicating the where the Portal to Ouro is.

He should've been booted to Atlas. Teleporter would be the only way, yeah.

Well only way in and out of Galaxy is form Ourobos Portal there should be a green dot on the map, Other ways are Pocket D Vip Portal Pass and Ourobos Port Power.

As a level 2, the Tram Station to Oro won't work ... he's below the minimum level to actually go to Oro.

So ... apart from using the SG Base TP power (iirc the base portal isn't in Galaxy any more), joining a team in another zone & using the Mission TP power, or street sweeping to level 3 & using the Pocket D TP (& I'm not sure you can w/out actually leveling to level 3 first) ... he's stuck in old Galaxy.

You could petition & have a GM move you to Atlas tho.

When I tried the base teleporter to Echo GC to Ouro scheme but was under Ouro's level requirement I zoned into Ouro for a second or two and then was booted to Atlas.

You might not be in the Echo version of Galaxy City. I've seen a few threads by people going to the old version (even showing the SG window, where one person was in 'Echo: Galaxy City' and their character was in 'Galaxy City'). You should still be able to leave via the doors in the war walls, taking you to the connecting zones (but you won't be able to return).

Yah, toons logged out in Old Galaxy do not necessarily wind up in Echo: Galaxy. One of my old toons wound up in Old Galaxy.

I can verify that I have had 2 toons that I haven't logged into for approximately 3 years logged in into Galaxy City (not Echo) just a couple days ago. I also couldn't find a way out...eventually using the base teleporter power to exit as I couldn't find ANY type of exit on the map.

I had this happen to me as well.

Run down to the King's Row Door. It will take you out, but you won't get back in.

Thanks! I'll try the KR exit. I don't feel compelled to stay in the old GC, but I might take a jog around for old time's sake.

Just as a note, there are a few badges/plaques in Old Galaxy that you need for accolades, might be a good time to get them before exiting. Otherwise, you can get there from the crystal way in back of the Oroborous building that takes you to Echo Galaxy.
