What's happened to Gladiators
I don't really keep track of Gladiator badges being added, but I don't think they have in a long time.
It's pretty much just a relic of old CoH, which is too bad; pokemon battles with mobs is a hilarious concept.
@Amarlex in game, on the Virtue server.
Yeah. There's some things that are better left unattended, would be a little silly for them to put any amount of dev time into glad battles. I don't think they've done anything with them since, I don't even know. Way before i13 that's for sure.
@TheKatalyst
My **** is bleeding.
yeah that's a shame, but I don't see how adding more Gladiators would be any different from adding more lore pets.... same play style, just only in the arena.
There are a few members in my SG that still have battles and they are fun... and hilarious... But I guess if it doesn't make them money they won't spend the time to improve it.

to my memory i dont recall them ever adding new gladiator pets and i been playing almost 6 years
the last thing i saw mentioned about gladiators was that the devs did essentially call it a dead system and wont be touching it again
so what we have is pretty much all we are ever gonna get

The Night Widows stacks -tohit onto an already low base tohit mob. Putting them together means they'll kill everything extremely easy. They're essentially at soft cap all the time.
The Arch-Mage of Agony are an odd case. I remember hearing they're actually Elite Bosses instead of normal bosses.
Necrotech is correct, I remember there being some quote letting the playerbase know that gladiators were being fully abandoned.

PvP Redux is discontinued, for obvious reasons. Thanks to everyone who helped and joined.
Make sure to ban Night Widows and Arch-Mage of Agony.

one thing I like about this game is there is all ways something to do. When I get bored of the rest I LOVE getting some friends together for some Gladiator matches. I'll admit that it's not something I do all the time. It is fun. In my old SG we used it to settle disputes.
They should add new Gladiators. Of course it just one more thing that they could do and won't. AHHHAAHH....If they sold them in the market they would make them... beats the hell out of all the silly vanity pets they over charge for... and they could make them a vanity pet/ gladiator... I'd buy that.

It's CoH Pokemon as said before. I've never done it myself...I've always wanted to.

Can anyone tell me when the last time (and what where they) Gladiator badges where added?
or are they another one of those PVP throw backs?
