Fox's 25th Anniversary
Agreed. At least I can watch Simpsons, Married and ILC on dvd. Still no dvd release for Herman's though.
Don't count your weasels before they pop dink!
One of my great sadnesses in life is that they cancelled Married with Children without giving them the chance to do a series finale. Of course, that's probably part of the reason that they did cancel it that way. I would have loved to have seen the scorched earth that MwC would have left if they'd known it was their last episode.

Just think of how stupid the average person is, and then realize half of them are even stupider! - George Carlin
I've always liked Married with Children for some reason, even when I was far too young to get 95% of the jokes..

And it was soooooo close to being done too.
"I play characters. I have to have a very strong visual appearance, backstory, name, etc. to get involved with a character, otherwise I simply won't play it very long. I'm not an RPer by any stretch of the imagination, but character concept is very important for me."- Back Alley Brawler
I couldn't agree more.
I might've tuned in for Herman's Head. I totally forgot about that series. I would've tuned in if they had showed the original Simpsons shorts back to back, too - they were the main reason I watched the Tracy Ullman show.
Goodbye may seem forever
Farewell is like the end
But in my heart's the memory
And there you'll always be

Tonight they're playing the first episode of the Simpsons and the first of Married With Children. Hard to believe that it's been 25 years of 'em. Wish they would've played the first In Living Color and Herman's Head too.
