The old Blue side contacts NEED to GO

That's not a problem with the old blue-side content. That's a problem with trying to GET to the old blue-side content while being baragged with introduction missions which weren't necessary when the things they were introducing weren't seven years old.

Old blue-side content doesn't need to "go." It needs to be restructured so players are never forced into those padding missions unless they choose to.

No, I never knew there were supposed to be ambushes on those patrol missions either. I've run a fair number of them but never been ambushed. I used to attack whatever spawn was nearest each patrol marker just to feel like I was doing something useful....and so that the whole thing didn't feel like a 0 xp waste of time.
