is there something wrong with my computer?
What did you do that fixes it for the rest of the play session? That'll definitely help in figuring out the source of the issue. Also, has it always done this for you, or is this a new occurrence?
You should post a CoH Helper and HiJack This log, so we'll know a bit about your system.

i do nothing during gameplay... i close it nicely i reset all settings, i restart. sometimes it doesn't work i repeat process until it works... strange yes?
hmm.... Typing in chat is just typing text. Technically, everything else you do from the keyboard involves keybinds. It sounds as if all of your default keybind settings are getting wiped. I'm not at my gaming system, but there is an option in the Menu, under Keybinds, to reset them all. See if that fixes it.

Did we perhaps not click the button at the login point to tie it to your account atleast once or perhaps after the recent update it's forgotten to check for the local bind file?
whatever reason it is, it is bizzare. I have always had my account bind btw too
If you want any help, you should post a CoH Helper and HiJack This log. It'll provide the basic information pretty much required to try to solve any issue like this. We're not psychic, so we can't magically know about your system and setup.

or something else is intercepting the keypresses before CoH can see them.
I've seen similar with Teamspeak or Vent in the past when using PTT - can't remember which where it gained focus and so all the keystrokes were sent there instead. Clicking the CoH window to regain focus allowed keybinds to be recognised again.
This would apply to other applications where the keyboard is intercepted and for some reason it is failing to forward the untrapped events.
Could also be keyboard or mouse drivers where keyboard macros are set up - wouldn't really expect that to affect every key though.

I've also seen issues with "Anti Keylogger" programs, If I remember correctly, comcast has a "free" Antivirus that includes one, as does McAfee. These work by scrambling the key codes sent to programs, and while chat might work, everything else will be borked. So yeah, HiJackThis, and CoH Helper please.

I currently own a chinese computer and on the computer it comes with a chinese imput method like double clicking ctrl or ctrl+space. I have tried to use this during the game, but for some reason it doesn't allow me to type chinese in game, why is that? and could this be the issue possibly?
dude read their posts follow these guys advice or you aren't gonna find out what the problem is.
I don't KNOW what a keylogger is and I highly doubt that I have one . . . I bought a computer from a store I don't think they put a keylogger on it, and if you know i'd like support on seeing if my chinese imput method is messing with the keybinds Thanks Lucky666 for support if you have any other suggestions

This specifically
i'm not comfortable with adding my computers information log on a forum.... lol I just wanted to hear some advice, or maybe, if anyone else has had this same situation. Also I noted that when this happends i restart my computer and the application, and then for some reason it will be working again. This isn't normal.. I can understand restarting the program, but restarting the whole computer seems like yes another application is interferring with the keybinds.. Once when I had the problems after I had restarted my computer even in the first part of turning on the computer and selecting what you want to do. My enter key wasn't working then too.. " the same as when i load the game and enter username and password enter will not work, when it works then the game works. " what kind of problem can it be that even after turning off the game and restarting can affect the start up of windows? ? ?

Since you're having issues outside of CoH with the same thing, I think it's pretty safe to conclude that it's not a CoH specific problem.
Neo Shadowdream didn't say a keylogger, (s)he said an Anti Keylogger (an antimalware tool), which is often included by OEMs (generally a with a free, temporary subscription to a paid service). It could be that. It could be some OEM software that handles special function keys on your keyboard (I've ran into that before), or some totally different software.

Without you providing information, all we can do is take blind shots in the dark... and it's very doubtful you'll actually find a solution to the problem that way, except by dumb luck.

Whilst we are talking about AV programs - anything detected when you do a full scan?
Things that will survive a reboot - anything installed to run at startup or program launch, incorrect settings, missing components.
Also yes potentially the Chinese input method may be the problem - is this a third party software or is it part of a Chinese version of Windows? Are you able to disable it or uninstall it to test that hypothesis?

yea it's a chinese windows 7 professional. i think maybe a security does do something possibly... I think 360 a security software is free, i'm not sure. If it isn't making an anti keylogger then, the software used to type chinese could be the problem.. I haven't uninstalled anything, only installing. and as far as installing, i've basically only installed this game . . . it is strange it can be like this during start up, but after loading windows home page it was ok, i can't remember if the game was ok or not thought

Right now this thread sort of reads like "my car is making a funny noise."
"What sort of noise? And what kind of car do you have, and what year?"
"Oh, I'm not comfortable sharing THOSE on an internet forum. But it's a STRANGE noise!"
It's the same reason doctors make you come in to their office instead of diagnosing over the phone. "You 'don't feel good?' That's it?"

either way i know what is wrong with my car as i'm explaining the details. I can give the information to support or i can just try to figure out what kinds of problems cause it and see if i can possibly just turn off the application or something
Whether you decide not to provide the info to us here or directly in a support ticket, the results will be the same. What's posted by the applications greatly increases the chances that a stab in the dark comes significantly closer to aiming for the heart of the issue. If you read the related threads on how/what to post, then you will find that there's nothing necessarily "identifying" about it and if you're Really concerned, then read through them and edit out what you're concerned someone might use. I seriously don't know how they could use any of it, but still.

You COULD give the information to the support team if you open a support ticket, but as it says at the top of this page, "This is NOT a forum where official technical/QA support is available." The customer support team doesn't read and reply to problems in this forum.
The people that regularly DO hang out in this forum (and have answered a LOT of player questions) have certain information that they routinely ask for. By not giving it to them, as mentioned above, they're just "taking blind shots in the dark."
Good luck doing it your way, though!

oh? sorry man i can't get youtube in china. . .
No, right now this thread sounds exactly like this.

I'll let someone else try to explain it. I'm too busy chuckling over "the transmission...it improves gas mileage" and "can you park on the street, maybe?"
