1. Do the trust fund, get the cash settlement.
2. Give 1 million each to immediate family/close friends
3. Put 50 million aside as a retirement nest egg in case everything else goes in the crapper.
4. Use 25 million for various charities.
5. Use 25 million to open and run the best funded gamestore known to man. Then hire good friends to help run the place for far too much money.
6. Use 100 million to invest. Use the profit from that to pay any bills/taxes/expenses I may incur.
7. Use 100 million as fun money.

  • Use some of it to get the devs to add features I want to the game like new zones, new base editor, personal lairs.
  • Build a zombie proof house. There's a missile silo up in upper NY that's been converted to a residence, and there's a European company that designed the perfect zombie proof house. Add a nice big thick wall around the property and a moat with drawbridge. (I always wanted a moat). Also make the entire residence as green and self sufficient as possible. I.E. Windmills and solar panels for power, a well for water, a green house for raising food.

  • Buy a couple of electric cars so I don't have to scrounge for gas after the Zombie Apocalypse. Telsa Motors has some nice ones, maybe I can get them to build a zombie proof SUV.
  • Buy an island.
  • Buy an authentic WWII PT Boat for the island. (I always loved those things) There's one for sale in NY for only a million bucks.

  • Recruit/employ a bevy of attractive, scantily clad, and well trained gamer girls with absolutely no morals to be my personal assistants, maids, cooks, chauffeurs, pilot, bodyguards, entertainers, etc cuz if the Zombie Apocalypse does happen I sure as hell don't want to be stuck surviving it with a bunch of smelly guys unless they are good friends.
  • Buy the rights to some some games I always enjoyed and republish them.
  • Go to some of the best colleges and get a short list of brilliant applicants that had great grades but couldn't get in because they didn't have the money/scholarships, and offer them a free education if they'll agree that I get their services for free if I ever need them.

I'd invest and set my family and friends up for life, and then ask NCSoft how much of a 'donation' it would take for them to permaban someone who annoys the hell out of me. I could probably 'donate' anything up to $75m for that. They could do what they wanted with the cash.

The news is saying there were winners in Maryland, Illinois and Kansas.

What would I do to enhance my CoH experience? I'd buy everything in the paragon market. And I'd build myself a $20,000 absolute top-of-the-line gaming computer to play it on. And connect it to the fastest internet I could buy. That's really about it.

The rest of it? Some would be given to family and friends. Some to charity. Some would go towards buying my new house, a few new cars, and my P51 mustang. Most though would be tucked away in investments, insuring that I wouldn't be one of the people who won the lottery and went broke 5 years later.

These topics always go on to absurdity. Most of the plans people come up with are more effort than a full time job.

I would probably not even tell anyone I won it, and continue working until I was fired or had a reason to quit. Just go through life normally with infinite money codes on. If a good person is having hard times, maybe buy them a car or a bunch of supplies and leave it for them without saying who's it's from or anything.

The only thing I'd really want to do overtly would be to find 'that girl' I still care about (every guy over 25 has one of those I think...) and sign over a ton of it to her out of the blue, see how she's doing, make sure her life is easy.

As for CoH/V... after buying out the market and grabbing a thousand super packs, I might take a 'vacation' as an excuse to go to wherever their headquarters is located where I would take Dink out to a nice lobster, dinner and talk about a few weapons I want in the character builder and what it's going to cost me to get them...

See, this is why you need to keep positive about winning. Don't jinx yourself!
