Just thought I would stop in and say hello since I finally decided to go V.I.P after 3 months. ^.^ Everyone doing good? And is Victory really my best choice for main server? Seem's kinda void of good people to team with.

Did you just call Voodoo a void. :0

Welcome to VIP status and to Victory! There's a lot of team forming on Victory that happens via global channels. Check out Grey Pilgrim's Welcome to Victory and How to Find Teams thread for more details.

I've seen some of the team forming. I joined the Victory Badge's channel but I either see level 50's forming teams or lowbies running DFB's. Nothing for in the middle teaming and forming my own team for mid-level content is normally a bust. lol. Is it just Victory or all servers that do not really team on the mids? Or maybe I just have really bad timing on when I get on. lol.

First of all, Welcome to Victory.

Second, The mid range area is always hard to play in on all servers so you are not alone.

Third, hang in there. It gets easier mid 30's, at least it has always gotten easier for me at that level range.

Fourth, and last, Have fun and hope to see you around.

Yes, what Callie said. Most of the player population is either on lowbies or on their 50's. It's been that way for a long time. And this is not unique to Victory. I'd suggest joining all three channels (Victory Forum, Victory Badges, and Victory Limitless), if you have the room, to increase the odds of getting in on a mid-level team if one is announced.

Or you can form your own, as you've said you've already tried. Don't set your expectations on team size too high. Announce that you're running the team in the channels and in broadcast in the zone you're in, and in the Help channel if you wish for those that are not VIP, pick up what you can - you might end up with just one or two to start - then run a mission. After that mission's done, go ahead and announce in the channels again what you're doing. You might pick up one or two more. Eventually you'll get a decent sized team going but it may take some time.

There's also the benefit of task forces and forming your own teams. A lot of players are too hesitant to just form their group.

I'm pretty sure you just called me good people

I don't know what to say that wouldn't be weird

I've already forgotten about most of you

Yeah I've had great experience between Victory Limitless and Forums. You can find any kind of teaming, between Incarnate Trials, Taskforces, Giant Monster hunts, and just plain Mission teams.

in fact just yesterday I got into a Katie Hannon TF, then later in the day a Tin Mage run. Was great for my fresh 50

I will say it gets pretty quiet after about 8 or 9 pm (Pacific) because a -lot- of folks, especially some of the more active players forming a lot of the big team events (Trials, raids, etc) are east coast.

And ya do not be afraid to run your own stuff. Just a quick shout on the channels can drum up at least a few folks for just about anything. I pulled a group together m'self for the Tina Macintyre finale, since it rewards credit for both Antimatter and Neuron for Dimensional Warder.

im usually available for teaming or whatnot, i have a variety of toons, to use i usually am working on 50s but dont mind grabbing a lower toon for lower lvl sf (and yes i primarily only play redside)

Thought I would stop in again, since I forgot all about the this thread ^.^ I joined Victory Badges and it has helped a LOT for teaming. I retract my comment about Victory being void lol. Just takes a bit to find them but once you do they are a lot of fun. And I finally dinged 50 on my first toon. Respec'd her a lot but Kyo is no good with numbers or builds and MID's is still new so I just got her as good as can be for teaming and switched to a new one for now lol.

Question: Is Victory Forum's a private channel? I had another player I teamed with, Xury, who taught me a lot tell me I needed an invite to to that channel. If so, who can I get an invite from or do you need to be a super player to join. Lol. J/K

I don't think it's a private channel...

Make sure you try to join using the correct spelling of the channel name, which is Victory Forum (no apostrophe or 's').
