okay played with it again ^.^ Dropped stealth and tactics so I could pick up conserve power and physical perfection again but only 3 slotted perfection. End usage is now 1.14/s with Cardiac Core Alpha slotted and 3.19/s recovery. So I dont think endurance will be an issue. I'm really liking the way this one is shaping up.

Okay guys. I took what you guys have said and what my friends mentor said about it and made some tweaks. Here are the tweaks I got from my friend, so you guys can help me figure out if I followed them well enough or if you have different suggestions.
suggestions:
hack-dont use mako bite if only dedicating 4 slots to the power
conserve power, physical perfection both powers are kind of uneeded on a energy aura toon since it has an end drain and half a conserve power already built into the set
energy drain is heavily underslotted, i would move some slots from physical perfection to that power, then slot it with 3 membrane HOs, and 3 end mod IOs which should ED cap all 3 of its important attributes (end mod, rech, def)
another slot could be added to tactics and move the gaussian proc from build up to there and put a rech enhancement into build up, and or move the rectified reticles from tactics into build up
on tough the steadfast KB IO is kind of useless, it does not really help you at all so that slot could be moved elsewhere
energize if you want to slot with numi then get 6 slots in the power, the 5 slot set bonus does nothing for you
in health i would put a miracle instead of the regen tissue
lastly i would not skip energy protection, it gives you some resistances, one of which being to slows and it is also an auto power so it is not draining end, you could take that in place of conserve power or phys perfection
Now I did replace the Mako's with Kinetics like Eldorado suggested and tried to play around with a lot of things. I ended up dropping Conserve power and physical perfection in favor of stealth and energy protection and that helped get me not only a bit more resistance to the build but I hit soft cap on all typed defense but Psionic.
Does this look any better? Any other suggestions or things I should change? I'll work with anything!

I've never played either of these power sets before so I am going in blind. Physical Perfection is only slotted that way because the person who mentored me on doing builds always insists thats a good way to go but I am more then open to changing it if that helps! Okay I am pretty new to defenders and only have 1 other, a empathy/arch who is still a baby at 27. But I wanted to give Kin/sonic a try. Now, I fould a build here on the forums that I really liked. The name of the person who made it slips my mind, SORRY! ^.^ Anyways, I showed it to a friend who made some changes and while I like some, others I'm not sure about because while I gain a little accuracy resistance, recovery, and regen I lose a LOT of defense, recharge, haste, tohit, a lot of status protection and damage totals.
Now I like that she picked up Siren's song and Dreadful Wail. I do approve of several good blasts on a defender and I agree that taking boxing and kick just as slot mules might be overkill so I'm torn. So I leave it to you veteran defenders to help me out! Which is better for a defender who is going to mostly team but would be nice to solo from time to time on my off hours when no one else is on. Price is not a real concern. It'll take me time so if we can avoid hami's and anymore purples then there already are in the set I would enjoy that. Here they are. Didn't realize my phone cut it off, srupid android, but also to Xury who spent loads of time telling me about IO's, sets, the market, and walking through all of it step by step with me even though Kyo's not the brightest bulb.
And lastly Agent Jeb. He didn't really teach me anything but gave me loads of experience using teamwork and patiently let me tp his dead corpse around on my new corruptor when I forgot I wasn't playing a scrapper anymore. Who new red 5th could hit that hard?? -
Some of you may have saw my first post here. A fresh newbie who didn't even know the victory channels or how things work around here. Kyo has since learned a little about a lot and a lot about a little. Now, besides victory's superstars ( madame p, sham, etc) 2 people really helped me a lot and Kyo thinks they deserve a bit of recognition..
First: Toons Aplenty. I met him on a dreaded pug and he and I hit it off well. Since then we've become daily duo buddies and he taught me a whole bunch, patiently answered all my questions and watched my back like an amused guardian as I finally figured out what I was doing in this game. Thanks buddy! (He's also the reason I now have 3 support toons cause he taught me that they rock!)
Second: Celestriel! She has taught me EVERYTHING I know about life after 50 and I would be lost without her. And she will help anyone as long as they have a good head on their shoulders and is willing to learn. Best bud a gal/guy can have and a total trip to just chat with -
Hey there! KyoChan here from the Victory server. ^.^ I'm not really an rp'er but I love writing. I didn't think I would apply that to this game but after several months of playing and growing attatched to my now level 50 scrapper, Mistress Kyo, I thought I oughta share some of my writing about her. The first one I am about to post I actually did write when I first made her because even if I wasn't going to write about her in the beginning, every toon needs a bio. A lot has changed in her life these past months though! I will add part 2 soon and more to come! I would love some constructive criticism if you have any to offer! Thanks!

Kyoko Ishino of Hagashi Ketsueki (The Blood Dragons), the second-largest crime syndicate in Japan under the Yakuza, was raised in the life of 'kill or be killed.' A quick learner with a tenacious attitude she never questioned that bad guys needed to be killed and if Hakuro, the head of Hagashi Ketsueki, said they were bad, they had to be. By 16 she was second on the Alpha-Assault team, leading high priority execution missions. It was a life she enjoyed and excelled at. Killing bad guys to make the world a better place. And a good job done by her meant Hakuro guaranteed the safety of her younger sister Leiko.
That is until she people she was being ordered to kill became less 'bad guys' and more 'in Hakuro's way.' When she began questioning her position and finally refused to execute anyone who was not a criminal, Leiko vanished. Hakuro secreted her away and forced Kyoko to do as he commanded in order to keep her alive. This lasted for years and her desperation grew every year that she would never find a way to save her sister and herself from their lives. Until a man who called himself Lord Reight came. A man with powers, something she had never before seen, led a raid with Japanese Police against the gang.
At first she fought against them, as Hakuro demanded but when she realized the gang was loosing she pleaded with Lord Reight, she would help them and turn herself in if they would help save her sister. The man agreed and though it took several blood-filled hours the Hagashi Ketsueki was finally defeated and Leiko was saved from the hideout Hakuro had been storing her in. Something was wrong with her though. She was hooked to machines and her skin was covered in flames that did not burn her, victim of scientific experimentation. It was obvious to Lord Reight that they had been experimenting on her and the small flames dancing in her eyes told him they were tampering with gentically altering her to obtain powers. Horrified Kyoko was frantic for a way to get Leiko away, safe from anyone who would try and use her. Lord Reight calmed her though and promised to take them both in to teach Leiko how to control her powers and keep herself safe.
Together the three travelled and hid themselves in Lord Reights estates. For the next few months Leiko was unconcious and recovering, learning to survive with her abilty without the aid of Hakuro's machines and experiments. During that time Kyoko worked with Lord Reight, honing her skills and learning the ins-and-outs of being a 'hero' with no powers. It was instantly apparent that she was meant for it. With her years of fighting and her skill with blades she was able to overpower even the villians who did possess powers and she was more then overjoyed to beat and arrest criminals instead of killing them.
Leiko slowly started to recover and every now and then she was concious enough to sit up and talk with her sister and their new guardian. Her control over her powers was chaotic but with Lord Reights help she slowly started to get a handle on them. Sadly, not soon enough, for a group of men Lord Reight called Arachnos, raided their home in staggering numbers and managed to kill Lord Reight. Though she fought as hard as she could Kyoko was overcome and left for dead, unable to do anything as the enemy captured her sister and vanished intot he night.
Several hours later Kyoko woke up to the destoryed home and crawled to Lord Reights body and carefully pulled off his amulet, the source of his powers, and placed it around her own neck. Instantly she felt her body shifted, growing, changing. Her nearly fatal wounds healed in minutes and within the hour she was with Lord Reight's police contacts trailing the Arachnos, which took them 3 months to trace them accross oceans in Paragon City. Bidding farewell to her homeland, Kyoko made the trek accross the seas to find her sister.
The land was new and vast, recovering from a war and crawling with villians much like the ones that killed Lord Reight. Kyoko followed her sisters trail for weeks before finally narrowing it down to a warehouse. She staked it out for days, learning the routine of the buildings occupants but the day before she planned on breaching it their was an explosion, fire sweeping through the whole building. She raced in and fought her way through the compound to the basement where she knew they were keeping her sister but while there were dead Arachnos everywhere there was no sign of her sister.
Despairing with no leads on what to do or how to find her sister she fell into a depression and began venting her anger and fears out on any Arachnos she could find and eventually spread her vengance to other villians through the lands. As people began noticing her actions she took up the mantel of 'Mistress Kyo' and began the life of a Hero like Lord Reight had been. However, no matter her talent and skill, she was still new to her powers and found herself in several 'close call' situations.
On one mission she nearly lost her life but was saved by two heroes who took her back to their base to recover. Their names were BO-B and Citrine Aura and while they helped her heal she shared her story with them, to tired and beaten to keep it all to herself anymore. To Kyo's suprise they took her in and welcomed her into their group. A team of heroes working together, supporting and aiding one another like a family. They helped her train with her powers and grow stronger alongside helping her try to locate her sister, whom she refused to believe was dead. Within a year she came to see them as a family and now fights side by side with their members saving those in the land they all now called home.

Part 2 is being worked on as we speak! It deals with the past year and a half (in the game universe) of her life with major developments, updates, new hero friends, new enemies, a shocking truth about Leiko, and someone's descent into madness. -
ah It's not meant to cause problems! We don't even have to use names but it can actually be funny for all to. Like my friend, Aicori, that plays from time to time when he is off the road (he's a truck driver) who has, more then once, pulled a move that had me screaming 'Jerk' at the computer while making a mad run for my life! lol.

Lol! My biggest one was someone named Linda something who stands around Atlas being a general pain in the butt. We've all learned to ignore her and file a report when she goes overboard but one day she was getting really nasty while my little niece was playing. I told Linda 'hey, lets kindly tone it down a bit while the youngins are around' as I called my sister inlaw to come put linda on ignore. Thank god she did cause things got even worse after that and I was like 'wow, you're a jerk!'

*though please note this can be light offences like someone puts together a mission team but refuses to do any missions but his/her own, even if that person really needs help. Or the ones where someone does something so jerk-ish Kyo cusses so badly it makes soldiers blush!* -

As long as they are not speed trials I am in! Kyo has never done apex, sutter, tin mage, or MoM before so she doesn't know how to speed them. But it sounds like fun!

Thought I would stop in again, since I forgot all about the this thread ^.^ I joined Victory Badges and it has helped a LOT for teaming. I retract my comment about Victory being void lol. Just takes a bit to find them but once you do they are a lot of fun. And I finally dinged 50 on my first toon. Respec'd her a lot but Kyo is no good with numbers or builds and MID's is still new so I just got her as good as can be for teaming and switched to a new one for now lol.
Question: Is Victory Forum's a private channel? I had another player I teamed with, Xury, who taught me a lot tell me I needed an invite to to that channel. If so, who can I get an invite from or do you need to be a super player to join. Lol. J/K -
I've seen some of the team forming. I joined the Victory Badge's channel but I either see level 50's forming teams or lowbies running DFB's. Nothing for in the middle teaming and forming my own team for mid-level content is normally a bust. lol. Is it just Victory or all servers that do not really team on the mids? Or maybe I just have really bad timing on when I get on. lol.

@ New Chemicals - No, I do not believe so since the exp loss happened during a private mission as well, and I moved to several zones to make sure the loss was not centered in just one zone or with just one mob. I killed freaks, coucil, family, etc all with same result.
@ Shadows - I had been running with patrol xp earlier but I used it up, then died, so I was running on debt (purple bar) for a while. Now low exp with debt is understandable. Half goes towards paying debt. However, I finished paying that off, my status bar showed 0 debt, when the drop happened. As if I was still only getting half exp per kill but it did not say I was paying off my non-exsistant debt.
- Now I normally do have xp boosters but I have run without them before and the loss of exp has never been this great. But maybe that was the bug and this one is things getting back to normal?? If a level 29 killing another level 29 really only worth 240 exp? -
I have been playing for a few weeks now and hit level 29 earlier today on my main. I was fighting freakshow in brickstown getting the normal exp for enemies with yellow/orange names then went afk for a few minutes. When I came back and resumed fighting I started getting a LOT less then I should be! I was getting around 200 exp for yellow (level 30) freaks, and around 800 for Orange (level 31) freaks. I did just come out of debt when this happened but my dept is paid off and no longer shows I have debt but its almost as if im still only getting partial exp?! Any ideas? I took advice from someone in-game and went into a mission but exp was same, then logged, ran a repair on the game and logged back in but still getting the wrong exp.

I have two problems that are rotating around the same thing. I read that you could upgrade to Premium by buying from the Paragon Market so I spent $5.00, bought points, spent them in the market and yet a day later, over 24-hours, my account is still labeled 'free.' On the same token I have earned my trustworthy badge but still cannot send tells, join the global chat, or join my friends supergroup.
I sent a ticket in-game but realized they will not respond to that so I'm hoping someone here can tell me what might be going on or if I read all those sites wrong. Thanks ahead of time!
