Cognitive Interface & Martial Arts
At best, it's a 20% chance for a 4 second magnitude 2 confuse with each attack (http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Interface_Slot_Abilities).
So, it's mostly only going to confuse minions unless you have a teammate using it as well. Lts and Bosses will only get confused if you're lucky enough for it to proc twice in a row, and then only for a second or two.
That said, it's a fun concept idea, and it does have a chance for Psionic damage as well, so it's not like it's useless.
Hmmm...never thought about it untill now, but does Interface work with Judgement to give Vorpal the confuse?

Yeah, I'll probably give it a go for the Tanker at least.
Another interface question - Reactive visibly produces flames on its targets - so I think I'll avoid it for my Stalker. What about Cognitive and the other damage proc-ing interfaces? Do they have visible effects too?
They all have visible effects, at least all the ones with DoT. Not sure on the others as I only use the DoT ones.
Cognitive creates like a yellow/white bubbly kind of effect on the upper torso area. It kinda looks like the confuse bubbles but bright white/yellow. The most visible one is Spectral as it creates like a dark swirly ring on the base of the enemy. Kinda like a portal from the underworld or something.

Best use of Cognitive is by a Mastermind (lots of Pets) or an Illusion Control or Storm or similar powerset. Cognitive is best advantaged by "buzzsaw" builds that pile on lots of attacks very quickly with very short animations or involve tremendous amounts of "dice chucking" from multiple sources on a single target (ie. Pet builds). Get enough simultaneous attacks going and you can actually start stacking up that Cognitive Interface proc ... even if you're pairing it with World of Confusion.
I've got a couple of Martial Artists - a Electric Armor Tanker and a Super Reflexes Stalker. For both of them I've considered using the Cognitive interface with its chance for confuse, to simulate that Nightcrawler-ish thing of getting people to hit each other while you dodge and weave around them.
Has anyone else tried this, and how did it work for you?
I imagine it'll work better on a Tanker. You typically have more enemies around you, and they survive longer, and the damage field can proc. My Stalker is single target only - anyone she touches who'd be susceptible to the confusion is going to go down pretty quickly, and thats if they're not already knocked back or stunned.
Am I wasting my time on a gimmicky idea here?
